This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 966 and just couldn't get the adapter to 'click' in place. That little tip about pushing the coupler from the back so it's flush with the housing was EXACTLY what I was missing. I don't think I would have even though of that on my own lol.

Don't ih and John Deere 70s tractor uses the same old hydraulic quads?? I'm buying a case 1270. I plan on hooking the pioneer adapter..
