I flew with Precision Air from Kilmanjaro to Entebbe in 2015. There was actually an onboard service back then - in the form of salted cashew nuts... :)
Right after takeoff the right hand engine stopped, and hence we stopped climbing. The flight crew managed to get the turbine running again, but what made my day was the P.A announcement once at cruise level.
«Ladies and gentlemen, we now have control of the airplane!»
The plane crushed today😭
The taxi drivers in my country are lining up to welcome you. 😂
1:37, the issue with that attitude is that he is rewarding theft. If he really bothers, he can give a tip, but, despite me being poor as well, I would never accept any income from stealing others.
You live in Tanzania? So do I kaka
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@gteixeira you really need to understand the definition of theft. Both parties agreeing to a price when are both are fully informed of it’s true value is not theft, it’s his money so don’t be so dramatic
@@jakehall4493 Except that it was a taxi, not private transport. Taxis charge on the meter while a private driver negotiates in advance. He said it was a taxi driver who probably loaded his meter or took a long turn.
I flew Precision Air last year from ZNZ to DAR. Took all of 15 minutes but the plane was clean and the crew were great! Beautiful scenery as well!!
Did this flight as well. DAR -ZNZ in February
Noel is making me miss travelling! Please keep safe 👍
This is the first obscure airline you've tried that I've been on! A 20 min hop on an ATR between Dar and Zanzibar.
I did this flight last year. DAR-ZNZ by Precision air. My shortest ever scheduled flight
When the Uber driver asked you to pay in cash, he wasn't trying to scam you, it's just the preferred payment method in Tanzania as it takes longer for them to process cards and get paid and some don't even have bank accounts. You're actually way more likely to get scammed with a normal taxi like the one you took. I've taken hundreds of Ubers in Dar and never had a really bad experience.
Thanks Noel for continuing bringing this quality content when we need it most. Amazing as always!
I wanna be charged what the locals would pay for a taxi and then give a tip
The Corona virus song is actually done in Kenya The scanner as you exit the airport is just a by the way to make sure that no ivory makes it to dar I guess since it was sited as one of the most popular smuggling routes.
Nop that song made by us
I'd rather give the taxi driver the correct amount and then give him a bigger tip, rather than be expected to pay more just because of my skin colour.
totally
Hate being ripped off
Yeah, being ripped off isn't "cool" even if you can afford it.
Totally agree
Imagine what its like not being able to get a taxi because of the color of your skin!?
My favourite thing about your videos are the other passengers staring at you and in their head saying “who the f**k is he talking to”
😂😂😂
I think the xrays on arrival are to stop smuggling of ivory and other wildlife related things. Another great vid, thankyou.
Brings back memories. I took Precision from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma and back back in 2005. There was a stop in Tabora on route.
Noel hope to see more videos of africa! Great work
Thanks for the amazing content! The background music in your videos are everything!
Amazing vid as usual 😍 keep it up 👍
Brilliant Flight Report. I’m really enjoying this African Series of flights, and can’t wait to see the next one. Keep up the amazing work! ✈️
As a “gringo” in Rio de Janeiro, if I paid the tourist price every time I got into a taxi or bought a beer on the beach I’d be bankrupt in weeks 😂
Rio is rip off and there are far better places..I've lived here for 12 years
@@davidsheriff8989 😂 of course, there are far better places everywhere but work, life, women dictate 🤟
I’d recommend it to no one without a bloody good reason!
@@Cal900women? Lol buddy has the wrong priorities
A very quiet trip compared to last week’s trip Noel! Thank you for posting, I enjoyed it.
When it comes to haggling, I follow what my dad used to do abroad. He'd ask ahead to see what a fair rate was, then wait and see what someone would ask for. Say the driver asked for 20usd and the fair rate was about 15 or so, he'd haggle it down to 15 or close to it, and then pay the man 20 at the end if he could afford it. An ofcourse a little more if it was ridiculously cheap compared to where we were from. If someone was fair right from the start, I.e. ask for 15, he'd usually end up with 20 anyway.
Well, never thought my son's called Asaad:)) Just kidding. I do the same!
I love your African series. Planes and airlines that we have never heard of. Good to see some "antique" planes as well.
When I flew Precision Air in 2019, which obviously was pre covid, they had i flight service such as free drinks. I quite liked them!
Have you been here in Colombia? Have your flown in a DC-3 over the Amazon jungle? Search in RUclips thai video Douglas DC-3 araracuara. Those airplanes are still using in some places of Colombia, because the only way to get there, is by air, and the DC-3 is the best to land there.
Great video . I recall a Fiat bus trip from Dar to Arusha in 1967. Left at 0700 arrived 2200 hrs Suitcase covered in dust on roof rack. What a way to see Africa
Good heavens Noel, you are getting about! Seems a long way from Mansfield! Oh, what are the hotels like that you use? Any tips for quality and standards?
Keep em coming mate , something decent to watch on these dark lockdown nights brilliant viewing.
Hi Noel can I just say you have a very pilot like voice haha ! Would be amazing to here you say welcome to London Heathrow , local time 2:30pm with the weather clear skies and dry conditions etc ahaha 😂😂
Flew with Precision Air last month. It amazed me how timely flights are. The local flights are pricey though starting at around 120$ for a flight from Moshi to Dar.
I also flew with Precision Air and really liked the domestic flight. You had more service than with BA etc.
YES new video
Really so nice video and o got a very much information and thank you
Flew precision from Kili to Zanzibar after the climb and parks. Nice flight.
Noel, I’m loving your adventures across Africa! What has been your favourite stop so far?
I’ve had an Uber driver in Coventry ask me to cancel the trip and pay £30 cash to take us to Rugby (pre COVID of course) - although we were already in the car and I declined, knowing that the Uber rate was much closer to £20! Some of them try their luck but I think it’s a global thing! 🤣
Great footage, storytelling, and editing Noel. The end result of your time and effort is another engaging video. Brings a world far away just a bit closer. Thank you!
1 year late comment but was on that very plane in 2019. From Nairobi to Kilimanjaro. I actually got a free cracker and small bottle of water. And I actually bought the ticket from Qatar air.
Thanks Noel for the great content. It’s providing a lot of inspiration for future trips post Covid.
i remember i was flying to ISB from heathrow as i have some family in Islamabad on my dads side but im from the UK and have never been there before and i tipped the porter 10 Pounds and he was surprised like i dont understand Urdu but still he seemed very grateful still not sure why lol
When I flew with them last month from Mtwara in the south of Tanzania to Dar-es-Salaam ( with the same aircraft), we all received some salted almonds and a small bottle of water.
I've flow on the Mwanza to Dar flight with them many times, but the direct flight. On the 6:00am out of Dar, I've been offered a pastry and a choice of water or juice box, on the afternoon return flight, it has been nuts \snack bar and water. That was as of a year ago though.
Oh yes! I like that - Strictly Corona Dancing😁😁😁
Hey Noel, nice series you have going here. I did see your vid on Flight Link and you're to kind to call them "rustic". Keep up the good work!
Why are some people so false, with all the great video comments, after the video has only been released for one minute and it's a thirteen minutes long!
Nice video, please make a video on Proflight Zambia, Zambia's private schedule airline to Livingstone [ Victoria falls ] and Mfuwe where you find africa;s big Five
Suggestion: Fly LOT polish airlines
Precision Air: NO food service even if it’s 1hour and a half
British Airways: *brings out an eight course meal on a ten minute flight from Heathrow to Gatwick*
Hahaha
nice video 👍 Very interesting, I always love them Flights to africa 😂 my Flight was delayed 6 hours For No perticular reason 😂😂
I recommend to fly to Uganda and fly Uganda Airlines A330 to LHR
3:00 Do you have any complaints regarding our services? Please call our customer service number: 555-GET-BENT.
2 days ago i flew in a 737max and the whole flight i wanted to watch one of your vids no we are hereee👑🔥
@akaoscar_
How was the plane . any customers seemed really worried?
Lets be honest Noel, if you weren't getting ripped off by a taxi it wouldn't be one of your videos....
He’s certainly got form.
Cool
With a long history of aircraft disasters being a direct result of failing airlines cutting corners, I have no idea how you can sit there with a smile and talk about the many years this airline has not made a profit, and the major loss in 2019, without wondering exactly what corners have been cut to keep them flying!!! :O
Hi Noel, been following you for a long time. You are obviously a nice guy with a love for aviation but are you too naive, too trusting, for Africa? Maybe tell us how you plan trips in case of illness or theft or just being abandoned in a remote airfield. Coronavirus is bad but Africa has many dangerous illnesses waiting for unprepared travellers. Also bribes or “gifts” are the norm and if you can’t or don’t want to pay it’s good to have a plan. Actually your idea to hand over a token sticker or and be extra friendly is good. Makes it harder for a bribe to be demanded. Safe travelling
Stumbled into this one - don't know how I missed it. But Mwanza isn't really a small city at all, Noel - it has 1.3 million residents! It just sprawls. :)
So what is your opinion on Precision vs. Air Tanzania? I found Air Tanzania quite nice on DAR-MWZ in 2022, and am debating connections for this year, potentially running ORD-JFK-NBO-DAR-MWZ and then MWZ-JRO-NBO-JFK-ORD on the return - but Air Tanzania only has MWZ-JRO nonstop 2x per week.
You should fly on that Air Zimbabwe 737-200!
Best thing in this video was that 737-200!
Loving the African adventures!!!!
Kilimanjaro airport, lived in Arusha for more than 6 years,my family has lived there for 21+ years, hope you enjoy it,I just love the place
At 01:38 he should tell you GBP 8 for the TAXI ride and then as you are good person would give him GBP 20! That would be fair ride.
So if somebody takes your car it would be OK with since that person needs money ? I understand your point of view, but its all about being fair to each other.
I'm half tanzanian 🇹🇿 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
No ur not
I have no idea why I watch your videos, I have an extreme fear of flying lol
Flew them twice this month - ZNZ-JRO, ARK-ZNZ. We all received a snack (cashews and a croissant on the other flight) and two drinks (water and a drink of our choice).
You can see Embraer aircraft fleet..visit their site..almost same as Fokker 50....Embraer 195 is threat to Boeing and Airbus...
Some great videos on your channel. Would you consider flying on Air Koryo??
Best wishes from Capt A (Dubai UAE)
When was the trip made? No masks, unless I didn’t hear what you said!
I have to say I'm hooked on some of these trips you do. If you are up for another challenge, I'd love to see something like going from the world's most northerly commercial airport in Longyearbyen down to its most southerly one in Ushuaia
Tanzania: End Coronavirus, be careful
Also Tanzania: Let's squeeze all the passengers into a small waiting room and then squeeze them out onto the apron through a single door like a tube of toothpaste.
But no corona
Hello. Please would you test New Zealand airlines or any airlines trom Pacific? Example Air Tahiti - something exotic? Thanks you very much. GOOD JOB.
Could this be the ill fated plane that crash landed 2 days ago?
The plane that crashed is 5H-PWF, the one in this video is 5H-PWC; different aircrafts
Some nonsense here : you don't mind being ripped off paying $20 instead of $8 because you said it makes a big difference in the chauffeur's life, but then when the Uber driver is asking you to cancel so he can make an extra 20%, "needless to say, I just take regular taxi"....Double standards here !!!
Im in shock none of them are wearing masks
Covid isn't really that bad i don't think there
No covid there since May apparently. Especially after the president sent away swabs from a Goat and a Papaya and they came back positive 😂 I wouldn't take it seriously either
Not required there
Your shocked? U must be a brainwashed sheeple!
Remember that our government for months and months said masks do nothing.
You gotta love Africa
COVID? Oh no whatever will we do now that travel is..... Oh yeah, Africa exists. Lol JAAMBOOO!
Could you make Indonesia series please 🙏
Another great video. A question though...all these random & expensive flights...Are you the son of a billionaire or did you win the UK Lottery?
I agree to some of what you say, but when let’s say google says the fare normally is 100, and the taxi driver as 350, then you know he’s taking you for a ride, it’s happened to me plenty of times, so I always offer half, but on another note, if it’s a fair ride I give more or the same as google says. this is only when I’m away from the uk, the uk taxis can get what’s on the meter bunch of miserable old men , if you’re taxi driver reading this, I’m not sorry🙈
never knew precision was 40% owned by Kenya airways. Kenya airways also fully owns Jambojet!
Precision air is owned by Kenya Airways btw
Partly
Not true ...Kenya Airways owns only 41% of the company.
@@nicodemuszebedayo5978 because a foreign company can't own more than 50% shares in TZ...no brainer
@@brayo001 nonsense
@@brayo001 Precision air it was a private owned company the only reason why the owner decided to sale 40% of its shares to Kq was business strategy ....stop spreading fake info.
Another great view Noel! - Loved the music choice too!!
Brilliant video! Thank you for adding these two legs! Absolutely breathtaking part of the world, have fun, and fly safe as we fly into this brave new world! All the best!
I love such YT videos, reminds me of James Asquith YT. They are some what very hilarious
In New Delhi even when you go on their subway your luggage goes through x-ray
Would you mind sharing what flight tracking app you use? I currently have Flight Radar 24, but am always open to another, if it's better. The few times I've seen yours, it looks promising. Cheers.
Just wondered if you liked Flightradar24?
It think he said its called flightdemon but i have radar too and i love it!
@@justapaxuphere7985 Yes I do. I just like to explore new options. There's always the chance that I'll learn about something that offers features/benefits that I didn't know I needed. :-) I told a lie; I use Flight Radar 24. LOL.
@@akpilot6676 😂 ...there's another one too called I.F.R. It stands for "I fly roads" navigation, but I got to tell you, those right angles are just a real bitch! 😂😂😂
good video
I understand your comment about the extra amount paid for a taxi. So true when you live outside of an emerging nation. But when you are a foreigner living in those nation it then becomes an exploitation because you no longer are living on a foreign earning base.
Love your videos! My favorite part of Sunday for sure! :D
Awesome video! You are the best!
What do you use to track your flight on your phone? I’d love to do that
It is the feeling of being fckd over. Not the money. People do not like to be bamboozled
The inside of that ATR looked pretty smart.
Noel.... I've been enjoying your adventures and misadventures... I need to ask though. In the midst of pandemic, why are you doing this? Please don't take offence...
Strictly Corona dancing...well played Mr noel
Enjoyed the content but the music was grating
Hi Noel
Loving this African series.
Is "rustic" aviation speak for "clapped out?"
„Decrepid“ or „past its sell-by date“.
I wish I was you 💯 totally desperate for a wee holiday as 🏴 is depressing and cold I'd be up for a wee name change on your next trip if you fancy a few days in dundee haha
Always enjoy your content keep it up pls mate 👍✈️
A super rare Air Zom 737-200 adv....Rare because it hasn't been impounded for unpaid debts ?

Are you in Africa right now, or is this from a while back?
Nice
Just curious, when the plane is flying, why do the propellers change direction when they are spinning? I know nothing about planes 😂
ITS JUSST AN OPTICAL ILLUSION
"Having a jolly old time singing about the perils of Corona virus" 😄 Oh you crack me up. Even though you look like the guy my Ex is going out with I still follow and enjoy your videos 😄 Take care and keep the videos coming!
