I grew up with the music of Mylon and Broken Heart, and their music helped me and my faith so much. He’s gone home to Jesus now. Miss you, Mylon, and I look forward to meeting you in heaven.

I got saved because of a sermon my Dad preached when I was 5 years old. However, I STAYED a Christian through elementary, middle and high school all because I listened to Mylon and Broken Heart, non-stop. I can't express how much Mylon's ministry strengthened my faith. It was cool to be a Christian because no one, in my eyes, was cooler than Mylon.

You and I knew each when we were teenagers. Our whole lives revolved around southern gospel. We both knew how to act and what to say but our lives were not changed. Our lives went in very different direction but both ways were very destructive. God never forgot us. I am 77 now and have lived for Jesus the last 50+ yrs. Mylon, I’ll meet you in the morning. I know you are at home now.

It makes me so sad that I never knew Mylon. I became a Christian in 1994 after a nervous breakdown through a betrayal. I think the Lord had to allow me to fall really hard to wake me up. I'm now listening to Mylon.

Mylon Lefevre &Broken Heart was one of of the first Christian rock bands I started listening to as a new Christian. I've been to a concert or two. Mylon is a great teacher. I've often quoted him a few time as I tried to teach young people about relationships and life. This interview is outstanding. I've shared it on Facebook with my family and friends. I'm so happy that he's still out there teaching for Christ. God bless you my brother.

Glory to God what an awesome testimony!

Mylon, I can still hear your mama and daddy asking us to pray in a tent meeting back in Indianola, Iowa when I was a teen. She had a way of reaching into our hearts and asking us to remember you in prayer whenever we heard the song you wrote and she sang pop into our mind. I did for many years and have often wondered what happened to you. I am so happy to see you are back, you are with Him in your daily walk. She would be so proud, I am sure.

Awesome testimony! I never new the Lafevre's from Georgia.
When you can experience life for just a brief time, and see evil all around you and you are thankful that there is a real Jesus and at times when I was an alcoholic and used for a short time.
Blinders we're off my eyes and I saw and experienced Demon's around me. It was so horrific and I guess it would scare if anyone experienced what I witnessed daily.
I knew that was not my life style and I knew that I was a born again babe in Christ Jesus!
I had been to Rehab 5 times and it never worked. I prayed 6 months and I walked away with Jesus!

This man has the heart of a Pastor. I admire the way he teaches and explains scripture and the message of salvation in plain English.
Of the hundreds of thousands that got saved at Broken Heart concerts, many more of us reaped ministering, encouragement & inspiration from their music and in part b/c of that we didn't fall away or depart from the Faith.
Thank you Mylon LeFevre & Broken Heart!
'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.' - John :16-17

Mylon, it's so great to see you're still speaking and reaching people for Christ. I remember producing concerts with you and your band in December 84 and it left such an impression on me. God has given me a heart for ex-offenders, especially those who were imprisoned for sexual offences: the lowest of the low. God bless you and some day we will meet up again, my brother!

Mylon Lefevre & broken heart was an awesome group. Christian rock was my favorite through my teenage years till present at 50 lol. I wish some of the top groups of this genre would come back for a short spell such as the Allies, bryan duncan, ric cut, melon of coarse, Stryker is the only one out there and I love that their still making it happen. There were more groups as well that were pretty good to.

I wasn't a teenager in 1986 I had been recently divorced 26 yr.s old no children. And the Lord had been calling me as I recall since 1980. That was my rebirth night in April on the 11th day 1986 that's been almost 37 years. I cherish that night when I asked Jesus to forgive me and repent of my sins and I've been on this journey. And I'm thankful for that night in that gymnasium when When the broken heart band came through you see that very night I was going to go back to the life I knew I had tried church and I did not fit in, some friends had purchased tickets for the concert I had forgotten about it and I was getting ready to go back to the bars because I had tried church and it wasn't for me those people were nice and I wasn't lol. Anyhow I went that night and when Mylon presented Christ Jesus to me I said yes. For the first time it made sense to me because of his testimony and the truth in the gospel of Jesus Christ saved by the blood of Christ and I am thankful. Blessings to you sir.

I have a little story about when I was at creation festival in Virgina in 1988 where he played..
Everyone was standing up rocking out to Mylon lefevre.
I was up front and it was all cramped together and at one point he was going to talk a little bit.. so he asked everyone to sit down.
when I went to sit down ,I realized it was so crowded that I could not sit down and out of all those thousands of people it seemed I was the only one standing besides Mylon.
I was not that far from the stage (like middle of second row) so Mylon kept looking at me!
I was so embarrassed but there was no way that I could sit as nobody was letting me sit plus no room unless I wanted to sit on a stranger's lap.
I'd also like to say this brings me back to the 80s and so I could just go back in time for one more day back then

I had personally met Mylon and Broken Heart when I seen them at an old church in Delaware in 1994 and had Kenny the bassist play my Horner Stienberger Bass in the concert that night.

I was a part of Mylon's uncle's group of the LeFevres and had the privilege of finally meeting him at the LeFevre Family Reunion in 1983. What a great honor it was to see him, his mother Eva Mae and his brothers Maurice and Pierce I fell in love with his Aunt Maude who was in the original LeFevre Trio. Also his cousin Darryl Kutz (lead singer with Starbuck) was there. Good folk, great family. I cherish those memories

I saw a Mylon LeFevre and Broken Heart concert in 1987. I remember him giving his testimony and saying he wrote a song Elvis recorded. He said he wouldn't say the name of the song because he did not want people finding it and listening to it. Even in this interview, he doesn't name the song. I thought it was because the song was secular and must have had a message that contradicted his faith. I recently found out the song was "Without Him" and Elvis recorded on a gospel album.
In this interview he says God immediately delivered him from drugs when he got saved (1980), but his Wikipedia entry says he got clean in 1973, seven years before he was saved.
Disappointing that someone embellishes their testimony.

Wonderful testemony, but one thing that I am not agreeing with is "it is not devil's" fault". All pride, rebelion and such comes from devil, we just subcome to it. There is no middle or neutral grounds for our soul; either you are with the Lord or the devil claims a possession of you.
