- Still a little messy but she's mastered the post obstacle. The bears are entering hyperphagia so this might be one of her last freebies here. They tend to get a little cranky when the only thing on their mind is eating as much as they can as quickly as they can.

When I lived on Beaverdam Rd years back I went out to the porch and there was a bear sleeping on it! So I went to the back porch and there was another sleeping! I just sat down and had my coffee and read the paper! Bear woke up 20 min later looked at me and just got up went down to the yard and ate my blackberries! LOL they are intriguing characters!
Seeing "Beaverdam road" reminds me of the Southern Women's Channel 🙂

This is amazing...I just found you so will go through your other videos. I have two mama deer that have their babies in my back yard area every year...I do feed them... apples, birdseed, whatever I have around. So the babies hang out for awhile too.

@@salsagev3848 these are "urban bears" they have been doing studies on them for years, some of them are collared. The bears in these videos have been coming around to these houses for years themselves. .Many of them since they were cubs. Yes, they are still wild animals but this gentleman isn't going to get them killed. Maybe before you call someone an idiot, learn a little about the situation??

It's bizarre how quiet a bear is when it's walking. No stomping. Among the rest of the ambient noise, you probably wouldn't even know one was near you unless you saw it!
It's very unsettling. Sometimes I'll look up from my phone and there will be a bear staring at me.

Oh Ruby you are back in town with your big beautiful self. I think she is trying to be careful with the bird feeder, but wants every last seed. Little bird not happy about this. Ruby is so balanced and graceful to clean up the floor too. I admire how she respects you also, like she is hoping you will go get her some more seeds, if not I'll see you later.Great video.

That is the problem with feeding bears. They associate humans with food!! It's not cute, the bears don't have a bond with the human, just the food. Take the food away and the bears go away. This is wrong.

Well she was a good girl she ate the birds food to stop it getting stale,then she cleaned up after herself.Mum has taught her well.I have looked down your list of films ,I see the bears have been visiting you for years.What a wonderful experience for you .I guess you saw Simone as a baby too.Now she’s all grown and is a Mum herself.Do they move on to different areas ,or do dither family members still visit.Sorry so many questions.We have no bears,or Wolves in our country anymore I think since about the Medieval times .They we’re hunted to extinction for their furs throughout history until then.It’s sad really but safer for them as we don’t have so many forests as we used to for them to live in..I have subscribed as they are so beautiful to watch ..Love n Light 🥰

Ruby may have spilled the bird seed, but she did a darn good job cleaning it up. She's done good for herself this year. I wonder if she'll mate this autumn, and have cubs in the spring?
They mate around June and I'm pretty sure she wasn't old enough this year. Thanks!

Ruby is getting smarter and is a delight to watch. She certainly cleaned out that bird feeder and ate all the dropped seeds too. I'd still love to see what would happen if she & Simone were to meet up. Would Simone pull rank and chase her away or would they be friends?

Being that one has cubs it would be an interesting situation. If ruby is viewed as a danger then simone will definetly run her off.
