Yes! Lulu did the ultimate fantastic version of this song thats been the gold standard for 50 plus years. Now Susan is belting it out of the park, so clear, so melodic, so inspiring! Those Cowsill kids are such a big part of American Music. wonder who is managing them?
Before this I saw them do a contemporary, live rendition of "Hair" in which they included an extra verse. They don't just parrot 45-rpm singles, they must study the songs they perform and give their fans the rewards of their research.

Susan sings with such emotion. Her voice is absolutely beautiful. You know how good it is when it grabs you down deep inside and you have to hear it over and over. Lovely and SO talented.

I've never heard the Cowsill´s treatment of this song before. They do an excellent job. Excellent musicianship and of course Susanś singing is impeccable as always. She still has that little girl's energy and innocent demeanor. What a sweetie.
Such an innocent time. When I was 10 living in Queens I met her oldest brother at our Appartment laundry and Bill sang Indian Lake and HAIR for me and my little brother! What a treat! Would love to met Susan. That was 1970ish

If anybody still looks at this, Susan Cowsill is an angel...We saw all of them ( except the man I named my son after) in a dive in the San Fernando Valley and my wife,who has problems, was having an episode...Susan talked her down....And, yes..Billy taught you well...Easily the best vocals I have heard in years....God bless you Susan

My two favorite female singers right now are Susan Cowsill, and Johnette Napolitano, from Concrete Blonde. Both incredible voices, and they sing the melody. Melody is important. I'm listening to this in tears. I've followed the Cowsills, and have been a Cowsill loyalist since 1967, when I was 12 years old. They've just gotten better and better and better, and bigger in my heart over the years. I like this much better than the original by Lulu. Susan is just phenomenal as a person and a musician. And if you've never heard it-- listen to The Cowsills CD called "Global" from 1998! It's outstanding, stupendous, incredible and phenomenal--and reveals the talent of the Cowsills like you've never heard them!

When I woke this morning, I thought maybe I should remove what I said below. When you read it, you may not understand why I would write that here. My thinking, it may not be appropriate for this social media. But something told me "NO don't remove it". And then I realized why. Susan's presence in this video made a big impact on me. Since then I have become to know her if just a little at this time. During this pandemic, people have lost colleagues, family, and friends. To explain this, I will do whatever I can do, within reason, to keep her in my life. God brought me here and spoke to my heart. I beg you, if you have someone in your life you love and care about, let them know that. And when this pandemic is over, hug them, hug them as long as you can and keep them close in your life. Life is precious. Life is love. God is love.
Okay, full disclosure. I had a crush on Susan Cowsill for about 5 decades! Her dance moves on the family songs back in the day were unrivaled. Something about the Cowsills just makes me happy. Loved em then...love em now.

When I saw this video, I saw the sweetest, most precious young lady I had ever seen or talked to in my life.
