The purpose of this video is not to provide a comprehensive step by step guide to upgrading your controller. You will need to prepare for the controller upgrade to see how your machine is currently configured. Where possible take notes of your current setup and settings to help with a smooth trouble free upgrade.
Documentation / Guide is Available Here:

You may not need my documentation to perform this upgrade, if you have time to sit down and figure out the connections for yourself, however my guide should make the upgrade easier. I would like to note that although I have assisted with upgrading from Leetro to other controllers on several machines now and have performed this upgrade for the purpose of this video, my documentation is to be used as a guide only, as some machine configurations and setup may vary from what is presented.

I hope this video helps with making the choice to upgrade from the Leetro Controller, to a new RD Controller. As I mentioned earlier the Leetro controller in this video will only run on a 32bit windows system, and requires proprietary software and a licensed dongle / usb key in order to operate, and is not compatible with LightBurn Software.
The new RDC6432G controller from RuiDa shown in this video is available from Cloudray Laser and is suitable for a machine with single Co2 Laser tube, if you require a dual Co2 Laser Tube controller, I recommend the RDC6445G.
For additional information refer to the user manual for your controller available from RD-ACS.COM

This is incredibly helpful. Thanks so much from Texas!
You are so welcome!
Thanks for sharing.
I am changing the controller board of my 60x40 m.3 laser for a ruida 6432, but I am not clear about the driver configuration regarding the value to choose in pulse/rev. The motors are 0.9 degree nema 17.
I would appreciate it very much if you could help me.
great video. I have a GWeike LC1512 with Leetro and it uses Lasercut 5.3. I'm having to use very old windows on it and need to upgrade. My laser has the lifting table (z axis), that rises up and down with autofocus. Would the RDC6432G be the correct controller for me? thank you.
Thanks a bunch for this video. I am in need of Leetro MPC6565 motion card driver for my other machine, are you able to help?
Many thanks for your very helpful videos! I have upgraded my K40 Laser with a RDC6432G and it works fine so far except the homing after startup. I have set it up according to your vendor settings video and set the configuration to auto home x and y. But unfortunately it does not start homing after power up or reset. I have to do the axis reset manually every time after startup via the Menu->function settings->axis reset. Can you provide any hints on that?
in RD Works - vendor tools - (read info from controller) Then Enable Home on the X & Y axis and Write info to controller. then re test - if you require further assistance email Matt@mwlaser.com.au
Cheers
Hola, tengo el mismo controlador ( ruida 6432 ) pero no puedo hacer que comience en un determinado lugar. Es decir no puedo colocar en un punto el cabezal y establecer dicho punto como origen de la máquina.
Hi I am so sorry I cannot get the documents open to show the plugs to be converted. Please can you advise.
Many thanks
Esse modelo aceita eixo rotativo?
Thank you for your helpful video.. I'm about to build my own co2 laser cutter which will have a cutting area of 1100mm x 1500mm. And the laser tube will be 80watt, I'm just wondering what is the difference between rudia rdc6445 and rdc6432g? I'll be grateful if you could explain, I'll select one of them according to your answer, thank you in advance...
best off with the RDC6445G.
the 6432 is a "lite" model made for Cloudray Laser, it is good but is missing some features you may use.
Cheers
Hi can you help me to upgrade trocen 708s to ruida 6445s from red and black machine 100w co2
Hey mate, thanks for the video. Super helpful since we're about to upgrade a Redsail X700 and a larger cousin of it to RDC6432G's. One thing that I'm curious about though is have you been able to use lightburn successfully with the RDC6432G? Lightburn itself was unable to confirm compatibility on their forums a few months back.
Yes I use LightBurn software everyday with the RDC6432G
@@MWLaser Perfect, thanks!
Just stumbled on this video and im glad! i just acquired older Hurricane Lasers (Agnes) Machine and it is lacking any software or support but i notices it has leetro card inside I wonder if i can still use it and what software would i need ?
Leetro require proprietary software and a USB License Key, Unless they have a new version; the software I am aware of for Leetro is only 32bit. If you upgrade to RuiDa or Trocen then you are able to use Free Software or LightBurn, which is what I would recommend.
Cheers
@@MWLaser thank you 🙏 hopefully that card replacement is worth and not too complicated much appreciate your answer I found the leetro usb dongle for 100 on ebay still learning much about the system thank you so much !
Nice
Thanks
So the Ruida RDC 6432G is compatible with Lightburn? This particular controller is not (yet) listed in the Lightburn documentation.
Yes It is LightBurn compatible
@@MWLaser Thanks a lot and thank you for your efforts in making these videos. They help a lot. Just ordered my controller for my K40 project from AliExpress. Let's see how long shipping will take.
is this laser controller panel compatible with the fa-l604 fast laser machine?
it should be fine
Hello. can i convert to the Ruida RDC6432G from the leetro MPC6515C (2.0) controler?

Hey Mate,
Just wondering how we can get HMI sockets ?
contact the manufacturer of your controller, or source at your electrical store, google......
Hola , este modelo es compatible con RDwoks ?
yes
Bonjour et ce que je peux changer un leetro mpc 8530s avec awc708c merci d'avance
You can swap out the Leetro MPC 8530S with either a RuiDa RDC6445, RDC6442, RDC6432 and others like the Trocen AWC7813
Hi mate can I replace Trocen awc708 to Rudia RDC 6445 thank you
yes no problem, very simple. I have a document for the exchange of similar Trocen model to Ruida on my website, most of the connections will be the same between the two and you may find it useful.
@@MWLaser thank you
