- Demonstration and installation of the RuiDa BWK301R Wireless Control handle for the RDC64xxg Controllers (RDC6442G RDC6445G. The wireless operating panel BWK301R consists of two parts: wireless panel and wireless receiver. Wireless panel and wireless adapter communication, wireless receiver connection to RD motion controller, user can control the cutting process reliable within a certain range (10-40m) through the wireless panel, easy to operate. The system allows the user to control the system real time in the production process, improving the working efficiency and is easy to use and reliable. Parallel working with the controller operation panel, there is no interference with each other. Wireless controller BWK301 only supports communication with the RDC64XXG mother-board.

BWK301R with RDC64XXG motherboard, can be widely used in laser cutting, laser engraving, laser welding and other fields. Suitable for large format laser processing machines. Control the start and stop of the cutting process, Control the motherboard reset, Frame work, speed fast/slow control; pulse/point shooting, positioning, border, back to the point, cancel, and other operations, Control the movement of 4 axes of X, Y, Z and U; connection indication, power indication and status display; The transmitter and the receiver are paired one to one without mutual interference.
Note: This model is the BWK301R, although the printing on the front of the device states WBK301 this is most likely a typo error, as the model on the rear of the device is BWK301R and the information provided to me by RuiDa Technology also lists device as BWK301R.
This demonstration was performed on the China Red & Black Laser machine with RDC6445G controller. However the product was donated to a fellow Co2 Laser user who spends most of his day in a wheelchair, this enables him now to safely and easily operate his machine.

G'day Subscribers, You may have noticed I recently reposted my latest video on the RuiDa Wireless Handle BWK301R for the RDC64xxG Controllers. If you have watched it already you will not find any new information, the new updated version was posted only to correct a typo error brought to my attention by RuiDa, so accept my apologies if you were hoping this was new content.
While on the topic, I must say after using this controller and receiving only positive feedback from other users of this controller, it is a worthwhile upgrade for your machine. As you see in the video I donated this one to one of my RUclips subscribers who spends his day in a wheelchair, his feedback has been nothing but positive and has made the operation of his machine much easier and safer.
Now I'll need to buy another one for myself :)

Great video Matt. Very interesting remote. I'm often changing jog speed on the controller to be able to trim and prepare stock (combo of move and pulse), which can get quite tedious. Just having the ability to switch from say 300mm/s for just moving around, down to 10-20mm/s for cutting stock seems quite the game changer!
Unless I'm mistaken, this speed shift isn't something that can be done on a standard RuiDa controller?

You have the option of changing the the movements from the controller, however there are only 2 settings Continuous movement and manual step. You can adjust the manual set length from the RuiDa Controller. I find the Wireless handle does make things easier.
Hi Matthew... Always enjoying your vids... What I was wondering, is there any way I can program the function keys on this wireless controller ? I find it very frustrating to autofocus on my 6442 controller. I have to go to the mmenu, go down 8 times, and then enter. Is there any way I can frogram like the F0 key on the remote to autofocus ? Thx
Sorry this isn't possible. Ruida inform me that "the reserved F functions are not open to users. it is reserved for testing by Ruida."

To be honest i'm really trying to see the point of this controller. You say it is useful, that you can use it where the work is being processed instead of going back to the controller? but the controller is already where the work is being processed. Where using a CNC machine that uses a pc/laptop instead of a controller this would be useful I find it hard to justify paying for a device that puts you a few more inches nearer to the work piece than the RuiDa controller.
The only use I see is using this alongside your computer screen and only then if you have a lightburn camera fitted.
I understand this wireless handle is not suited to everyone and every machine setup, for example as you pointed out on smaller machines this may not be useful because the controller is very close to the work area, however for larger machines where you want to position work away from the controller, it makes it easier to make accurate adjustments of your axis without the need to step back to the controller. it is also useful for pulsing the laser when making mirror alignment adjustments without the need to keep walking to controller to pulse laser (especially mirror 1 at the back of the machine). Also when used on the RDC6442 controller it gives you direct access to buttons that are not on the control panel such as z axis which is normally accessed through the menu system.
