This is the kind of content that makes me wish Morimoto made a set of XB headlights for the 10-14 Outback. Would purchase those as soon as they came out. Guess I'll "settle" for their bulbs. Next best thing, right?
You already made a detailed video on led headlights but if possible please make a video on a new type of mini projector H4 headlight coming up in the market
Hi, I’ve got a 2012 Sti. These cars come with factors hid or halogens. Will these work for halogen light model cars? I understand the harnesses are different. Thanks.
Hey there, I also own a 2012 STI Hatchback so I am the perfect person to answer this, considering I've owned these headlights for about a year now! These headlights will work with BOTH Halogen & OEM HID Subarus, so they will work for your STI! My car had OEM HID with the Auto-level feature and these headlights are totally plug and play for all of that - they even come with new leveling motors!
Installed and they look great but the right side blinker flashes super fast, to include the mirror and rear blinker. 4-ways work fine. Any ideas what could cause that?
Might as well say it I have a 2009 sedan Impreza r for my first car, and was, wondering if the WRX and STI‘s have the same shaped headlights And tail lights?
Do you guys have something for a 2005 rav4 ? I have lasfit led bulb that were like $140 and they’re okay but not as bright as a new car if that makes sense
Can we do a segment for a Nissan Sentra? I'm doing upgrades to mine, but I'm not sure if I need to find and buy the SR LED headlamp assembly or if I can put LEDs in mine which have halogens. Mines a 2020.
I understand they are bright er and do have a warranty but LEDs have the same failure points as HID. the wiring, LED driver, and the LED itself. also LEDs also die over time as well. not complaining (except I wish they would do ones for the charger) but every powered component has a chance of component failure
This is a given, everything fails with/over time. But having an awesome warranty should be peace of mind for most that if any issues do arise that they'll be covered! We do our best to make sure everyone is happy with what they've purchased.
@@HeadlightRevolution HIDs also have a fairly good warranty as well. I have purchased many kits to retrofit into projectors i have gotten. and any issues i have had were delt with immediately, only issues is with a sealed headlight you have top replace the whole unit which on most cars these days requires the bumper to be removed. with retrofitting yes you have to see wires but most of the time the modules and bulbs can be replaced with the housing still attached. both have their trade offs but I see your point
There is an adjustment screw on the back side of the headlight near the top. This is accessible with a long philips head screw driver through the top of the engine bay!
@@HeadlightRevolution that is true, the thing is, when I use a car it gets passed down to my mother, she has my 2006 Civic still! But I get if people change cars every 5 years or so they will be alright! Also, got some fahren geargo led lights recently for my Forester XT, I feel they are the best for about 35USD, could you guys test them? (They have that kinda spherical heatsink design)
If you're talking about the manual motorized leveling headlights with the dial in the United States it doesn't have the motors needed to move. But the morimoto headlights still have the manual adjustment screw on the headlight.
I also am wondering this. The only real option is Stock LED, too bad they're $1500 for not too drastic of a difference. There are other aftermarket options, but none I would trust like Morimoto, hopefully they see the demand and make one for us soon
I will say, if you haven't upgraded your stock fogs yet, pickup some Diode Luxeon fogs, they make a massive difference even with just the stock halogens, they were enough to make me happy for now and allow me to wait for a headlight I like to come out
I don’t really see any specs on this, just to verify for everyone wondering, so the headlight leveling system on the STI’s with HID’s that have the dash switch that you can raise and lower the beam level, this has that ability??
"We already know your old WRX is better looking than the new one" Facts 🙏
Big facts!
Especially if it's the hatchback
2013 hatchback here....
Awesome to see the XB line being expanded to more cars and not just common trucks!
Agreed!
Man, Morimoto is killing the headlight aftermarket!💪
Yes they have been on top of thier game latley. Much more to come also.

Right there with you and we can't be the only ones!
Have you done a video on the 2021 STI, the OEM low beams are not bright enough
Not yet, but a good suggestion!
I’ve had these headlights now for a few weeks and I love them so much better then the stock ones on it that the og owner modified and messed up
Glad you like them!
Please make them for the Evo X as well
Maybe at some point!
As usual, great content. Excelent upgrade for Subarus out there.
Glad you like them!

I don't think we've seen any of them worth mentioning at this time, but we can look into it!
@@HeadlightRevolution thanks for the quick response. And will be looking forward to it.👍🏻
Do they fit for base models ?
Where can I find those side mirrors though!!!??
Dude IT'S AWESOME !! Find me the same for kia ceed SW 2020
Nothing at this time, sorry!

STI comes with HIDs according to the owners manual
They look great, but I wish they didn't have the mustang style DRL.
We like the look!
Please nudge morimoto to make one for the EVO X and Regular Lancers!!!!
Maybeeee! 👀
@@HeadlightRevolution Should I start saving up...? I have two Lancers, lol
I wouldn't hold my breath, but it is always a possibility!

Not bad for the best headlights for your Subie!
Need some for the 06-07

Dang they look so good! Was going to get them now, until I saw the price
Worth saving up! Best lighting performance with an OEM fit and finish!
If I don’t want a drl function, I just don’t tap into the fuse box?
Exactly!
@@HeadlightRevolution sweet. Have a set on the way, wanted to know. Appreciate it.

How do you adjust it vertical. Just installed mine and one headlight is higher than the other.

Dang it! I misread the title. I thought these would work on my 2016 Crosstrek. Read the video title again and saw it only went to 2014.
😢😢😢
As soon as I heard sealed it is a no for me. I like the ability to change a bulb/led if it fails
It's a bummer for sure not being able to change them but that's what the 5 year warranty is for! (:

Anyone know why these are discontinued? I really wanted to get these but I guess nah
They are being updated, the new version will be out soon!
Will it fit me 2010 2.5i hatch?
I want to buy headlight assembly for 2019 ecosport ford automatic, can i get
We do not have assemblies for this vehicle. Sorry!
I like the look of the stock projectors all the new style with the LED eyebrow and all the add in look to futuristic kinda takes away from the car.
If replacement housings aren't for you, there a ton of great LEDs to make those stock headlights much brighter!
What about the vertical adjustment feature available on the STI lights, does it work or is it lost?

@@sushigaming101 Thanks!!
Just purchased and installed, they do have the motors for the dial and work just like the stock manual levelers
will they fit a base model 08 impreza sport?
Yes!
I have hid headlight on my 13 sti sedan can I change it to this? Led.
Absolutely! (:
One of our employees here did the swap!
What happens if/when the biled projector goes bad, does the whole headlight need to be replaced?
That is correct, unless it was the driver that failed.
@@HeadlightRevolution can you elaborate on what you mean by that?
There is an LED driver for the headlight, this is external and is replaceable in case of failure.
@@HeadlightRevolution gotcha, thanks!
These with the valenti jewel twilights 🥺

Yep! And the AFS will still work!
what do you do when the main led needs to be replaced
Warranty would cover the new housing in the result of a failure.
need one for the 2007 sti
Get it! Worth every penny!
Does it work with the optional leveling system??
It sure does!

Morimoto makes great stuff
But....
Hot take, modern headlight designs don't look good on older chassis 😖
I think it gives the vehicle a more modern or in some cases a nice OEM+ look. Everyone has their own preference!
what?? i think these look great on the GR's! i think the only older chassis modern headlights dont look good on are the bug and blob eyes
Do you ship worldwide?
We do!
