- I have built a lot of cars and it is very rare I ever feel a sense of completion with them. But this 2014 Subaru WRX Hatch is one that I feel almost complete with. I have turned this car into something that I wanted when I was younger. Everything about the car is exactly what I wanted. 730 WHP, Bagged, Nice Fancy Wheels, Clean and simple exterior look. I honestly couldn't be happier with it. And Ironically this Subaru WRX Hatch was meant to be a temporary car for me...

Honestly watching this build come together has been my favorite “series” on your channel. It gives me a bunch of ideas I can do to my hatch and honestly. I love it. I love it all! Watching you build your hatch has given me inspiration to try new things with my own WRX hatch and dive into things I wouldn’t have attempted before. Now seeing as you’ve done “X,Y, or Z” with your hatch really makes me feel more confident to continue to build mine for the future. Love the content as always and thanks for putting your heart and soul into these builds it’s what makes them so worth it in the end :)
There's something so special about white wheels ( _especially TE37's_ ) on ISM. I'm currently running bronze, but you've definitely inspired me to go white on my next set of aftermarket wheels on my ISM 2020 WRX. I absolutely love the build, my man. Fucking congrats!!!
Since you asked, I'm personally not a fan of the C Log look, but that's just me!
No more C log 🤝😅 figured I'd at least give it a try once 😅🫡
The white wheels are dope and match almost anything.
Love to see the build and to see you so excited about how great the WRX has become :) C Log looks like it doesn't have enough contrast, everything has a photographic cast which could be neat stylistically, but channel-wise, I prefer look of the time lapses in this vid.

Wheels are A1, negative on the color grading, the paint is my only thing I'd change on the Rex. I can see the genuine pleasure on your face talking about the Rex. So good to see. 😎😎😎

One of the first nice days here in good ol Warshinton this year! Cheers, she looks awesome. Wheels are THE toughest thing to choose on a car for me. RPF1's were my favorite on the Integra. TE37's also very much in my Top 3 as well (for big boy wheels). I'm on the replica train nowadays.
RPF1s are a go to for affordablability, durability and looks. Can't go wrong with them 🔥
For me is not worth $2k wheels where it will get scuffed, scratch and even bend

The picture quality is SIGNIFICANTLY better with C LOG off. With the filter on it mutes all the color and kills some detail.
The TEs look SICK! I've been wanting to pick up a set for my GTI for a while and it might be time to pull the trigger

The WRX is an absolute beast! Im so glad you really dig it, cause it literally is the perfect car man.
On a side note, Id leave the color correction off, Ive always appreciated how crisp your vids are and I think it takes away from that.

The white and silver combo hits different, highkey slept on combo i feel like. Maybe a newer set of headlights or refresh em and its mint

It’s literally perfect dude! 6 speed (with the red shift knob) the cloth wrx seats which I honestly prefer to the sti leather and suede ones, faster than hell with Hot Boi suspension and now the te37s 😮💨. Literally everything about it haha. The black handles also look dope too. Ism and white is a killer combo next to swp and bronze 😍 keep killing it dude, amazing content as always!

i agree with the fenderist kit. one thing id change is the headlights, they look like the right colour film , but they're a bit hazy. needs to look brand new. like full transparent , but still the same tint. nice and shiny

Same in my area there is one hatch sti with a fender dumped exhaust all murdered out looks and sounds mean. Not sure all he has done but it gaps tf out of my stage 2 wrx

Congrats on the TE's! You never forget your first set. It sounds weird as hell, but it's true. Worth it.
I think to be the perfect WRX, an actual authentic Varis rear spoiler. A Varis runduce front bumper would really go with the wing. I'm not a fan of black wrapped mirrors and roof, I'd find a set of Ganador mirrors for it.
I love the WRX Hatch . It is by far my favorite car you have done so far . There is only one thing I would change and that’s the suspension . With the hp it has 730 and I know it’s not at that all time . I would get rid of the bags even you said it was a bit sketchy under power. Like you said the Hatch is PERFECT great job Tanner

Thanks Erik, everyone's definitely got some diffrent taste when it comes to how we build our cars. I try to do them fairly simplistic on the styling side. But things can get out there a but at times 😅
I love the WRX if it was my car I’d have coil overs, blue vinyl wrap and white rims would drive me crazy to try and keep clean so the rims would be bronze or gunship gray with a polished lip. But your build is 🔥if cost was no problem for rims I do like the Rotiform QLB 2PC welded rims or Aodhan AH09 rims
White wheels are a commitment, they get dirty so so quick 😅🔥

I wouldn’t do bags, personal preference but I don’t see the benefit in them vs coils. But you’ve got a killer hatch there. Good job!
As for video quality, I think with that color grade it looked a little dull. Not that I know anything about videography, and really didn’t notice until you said something, but just didn’t look as crisp as the time lapses or other videos.
Regardless, you keep on putting out content the way you want and I’ll keep on enjoying the footage of sweet subies. 🤘🏻
I like the way the WRX turned out. A nice clean build. The only change I'd make is remove all aftermarket branding in the engine bay. The WRX is a keeper.
Fair enough 🔥🫡 I don't mind it too much. Most dress up shrouds have some type of branding on them 😅
only thing i'd change would be for a set of high end coilovers, something more comfort oriented with digressive dampers

Man, always loved the hatches. Needs fender liners up front! Once you add the spats/skirts it will be the perfect hatch. Lower the bags a little bit more to get to the top of the wheel!
As much as I love the entire build, as much of an inspiration this build has been (hatches what can I say), I kinda wanna see it back wrapped gold with those white rays...
I'd have to find a diffrent manufacturer of the color. The last one was sub par for me I. I couldn't get it to stay down 😮💨
I think whatever color grading was on for the time lapse looks better. I think you should film in whatever looks good to you though! Awesome vid as always!

I wouldn't change anything except adding some really good LED foglights...maybe some Morimoto XB's. The side and rear profile is sick bro!! I'm into hatchbacks hardbody and the 2014 Subaru WRX STi model is one of multiple hatchbacks I want in my collection but what Tanner has done here is far beyond an STi model. I would trade my 2017 WRX(garaged) and my 5thgen Prelude for this bad bee-zee!!

Your cars are cool because they suit what you like. The one thing that I got for mine that looks better than I expected was carbon fiber side bumper ducts. If it were mine, that would be the only thing I change.

Ive done very little to my car because money is tight. But the little i did do was more then i expected. Tons and tons of respect to you Tanner, doing the stuff you do everyday and enjoying the reward! Mad props to anyone who do their own car work. As always love the content!

The only thing I would change would be to go back to quad tips. Something about the quad tips from the GR are so good to me.

the old color filter made stuff a bit more crisp, the new one is good for montages and what not but for regular video i think the old one conveys more detail
are you going to be wrapping the wrx again? if so a metallic orange or red could be sweet i think but i suppose that depends on how much of a hot boy look you are going for. keep up the great work Tanner

The only thing I’m sure you’ve heard a thousand times that would make it perfect to me is unequal length headers. The minimal HP loss is worth retaining the iconic rumble!

I love these hatch.....my dream car is either an 04-05 forester xt or 11-14 hatch. I have neither, i have a built lgt for now. A year from now I'll have my dream car to build. I love everyuthing about this car except the white on silver lol
I liked the wrap color even though the wrap was a pain. It’s why I bought the WRX shirt.
I lived that color but the wualiry of that wrap was sub par 😫😭

Absolutely love the wrx and your personal flare. The new lense color was a bit washed out to me but doesn't take away from my viewing experience, so continue on sir!
My personal favorite car is my 95 L 2 door, full sti swapped and build to around 450-500, painted steel grey (I already have the paint).
Only change would be the OEM 2018+ STI brakes for the stopping power.
