I've played a lot of Mario Party games since the beginning and took it as a fact that the good options on the Bowser Spaces were just a sort of joke that were impossible to land on, but then one day I finally had it happen and it blew my mind.
I remember getting it maybe once or twice as a kid on the actual N64 cart. But with MP2 on Wii VC, and now Switch online, I’ve gotten it more than I did before. In fact I had it happen twice the other day in 2 for switch. When I think of rare in MP, I think of Game Guy’s Roulette in 3, and how it was very rare to land on the x64 space, I did that at least once and maximum of twice ever in my life.
Never knew you could actually land on them, it’s juked me out every time (the cursor would just sorta sit on it and then move to the option above or below it)
The first time I played Emerald version, mirage Island spawned when I was crossing that sea, but didn’t know it was a rare event or occurrence. I was looking for Rayquaza and only found wynauts. First try!
Wait what... I actually had no idea the cursor could land on the 10 000 coins option. I always thought that was just to mess with the player. My mind has been blown
I've had the event happen fairly often in Mario Part 2, but oddly enough, I've only seen it happen once in Mario Party 3. You're more likely to have Bowser give you money when you're broke.
The Celebi event thankfully was more widespread after the release of Pokémon Crystal on the Virtual Console for the 3DS/2DS console’s eshop. That Celebi was really good to 5 guaranteed best IVs and it could be shiny
What i find hilarious is how there’s a random group of pixels in the top left that seem to be considered part of celebis sprite. I don’t remember anything like that being normal back when i played crystal, although it was forever ago 😅
The celebi also has a 1/8192 chance of being shiny, so thats even rarer. Although you can soft reset the celebi and try for the shiny as many times as you whant.
They already caught one as evidenced by the ball icon on Celebi's health bar. Most likely they caught it for content, forgot to record, then went back to catch it again after forgetting to load their save state before they caught the first one.
Nice idea indeed. Also, the Mario Party series has rare events too, in probably every game. There was a rare event in Mario Party 4 that in the lottery shop, you have a 8.333% chance of hitting the jackpot of 100 coins in the Scratch-Off and the ball game. Not just that, you were also given a loterry ticket which contains three characters. (one could be the same as another or whatever) By my calculations, in the last 5 turns, there is also a Lucky Party Ticket Drawing. In this, you actually have a 1 in 64 chance of hitting the top prize, which is a Star. However, there are also rare events of matching dice block numbers. In certain Mario Party games, getting doubles earns you 10 coins, whereas two lucky 7's earn you 30 instead of 10. However, if you match three numbers, but not 7's, you will earn 20 coins, or 30 in Mario Party 5-8, but, if you manage to get the lucky 777, or clearly three 7's, you will win a bonus of 50 coins, or 100 in Mario Party 8. In Mario Party 7, in the 8-Player Party Mode, you, as a team, can roll 2 Dice Blocks each turn, but match the numbers and you will earn 5 coins. But use a Mushroom and have 4 Dice Blocks, and match them all, you will be given 50 coins. But... if you use a Super Mushroom to have 6 Dice Blocks, and if you manage to match ALL SIX numbers, you will win a supermassive reward of 300 coins. But seriously, nice work. I liked how it is used for lucky stuff like lottery numbers and stuff. :)
I’ve obtained the Mario and Yoshi trophy in Melee on my NA copy. Iirc you need to have save data of Sunshine to get it. At least that’s what I assume. Thanks so much for the awesome videos! This is my favorite Nintendo compilation channel. Keep making it great! When could you make a video called "What Are The Extremely Weirdest Boss Battles in Nintendo Games?"?
Just gone down an internet rabbit hole lol I am not a huge Mario fan, I've only really played the mainline games, so during that golf game one I was super confused about who the character you played as was. At first I thought he was kind of meant to be a weird Wario. I can read Japanese and am still a bit taken aback because it looks like his name is Blacky (Burakkii)?? So I tried looking it up, and as well as finding out that's also the Japanese name for the Pokémon Umbreon, found he's from a Mario game called Wrecking Crew and his name in the west is Foreman Spike. I'm sure a lot of people already knew that, but I found it interesting.
Not as rare as some of these, but Earthbound is pretty famous for its numerous 1/128 chance item drops, to the point that people look for them as a part of a challenge run.
5:38 that trophy was actually just a normal trophy you could earn in game. It's just that, that character was from a game that was only released in Japan so they removed it from international releases.
The gold event in Mario party 2 I got more often then some of the other events related to loosing coins. Like the bowser’s multiplying toads I think is the rarest event…. I’ve only seen it like once or twice while playing for the years I’ve had the game
Idk if they were going to bring it up, but in super smash bros melee there's an even LOWER chance that peach pulls out a beam sword from her down special. Just wanted to put that out there for anyone unaware.
I remember that when I read in a magazine in 2002 on how to get certain trophies in Melee, it said "To get the Celebi trophy, get a Celebi in a pokéball (the chance is 1/251). I threw pokéballs for half an hour and thougt "no use", and I didn't get one through several years of regular gameplay. Then, in either 2016 or 2020 when I bought a new TV, I started up my game consoles to test image quality and input lag, and for the Gamecube I tested Melee, and got Celebi on my first pokéball after five minutes of gameplay. I didn't even try, I had normal item appearance and every item selected.

I have seen sparkling water in bdsp pkmn near the boat town and I think I chose wrong and im not sure, but there may be something there pls help I saw it at sunset (irl and in game) near the drawbridge, only ever saw it once, I had been there plenty of times before for fish pokemon but I never saw it sparkling like that, disappeared after a battle, couldn’t rewind time to get it either, is this a glitch or am I on to something?
@@IvanFranco120 yes, but a major reason I think it may not be a bug is because it looked like it was there for a reason, it looked as real as bdsp can look, it looked oddly purposeful, maybe a scrapped mirage island-like mechanic and it didn’t matter what I chose?
1:45 I think the overall chance is 1 out of 6561, not sure if 0s can be used for ticket numbers. If that's the case, then it's 1 out of 10000 of that happening.
In Pokemon Battle Revolution, there are shiny Pokemon outfits that you can obtain if you beat someone who has one. People thought it was a myth for many years and only a few people have them

I've plucked two Bob-ombs in row before during an Elite Smash match! One of the best recordings I have.
Upload it to yt
1:25 i KNEW i had seen him transform into Mario, everyone said i was crazy or that i must have imagined it but i knew i had seen it
Bowser Suit in Mario Party 4 would be suitable for a video like this.
Can play that game for years and never see that event.
I've never seen Samus as a statue in Kirby Super Star, only once Mario a couple of years ago, thanks for sharing 😍
I love game mechanics like these, also cool that it has alot of stuff I am familiar with, yeah, Tanooki Kirby haha. Also that's cool in Paper Mario and TTYD. 📰🐷💣🤑
1:35 Wow! You need to Paper Mario TTYD for almost a year to win the lottery? THATS CRAZY!
Thanks so much for the awesome videos! This is my favorite Nintendo compilation channel. Keep making it great! When could you make a video called "What Are The Extremely Weirdest Boss Battles in Nintendo Games?"?
When I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was steps to take over the world.
1. Win the Lottery
2. Become Samus
3. Recruit Kecleon
4. *pull a bob-omb*
The path to world domination is clear 😂
I remember getting samus stone in kirby i didnt know it was rare!
HM SLAVE-1 you a real one for that one 👏🏼
I thought he was Waluigi lmao-
9:15 "it motivates me to make better BALLS" ayo?
Bowser just straight up dipping is hilarious
Not as rare as some of these, but Earthbound is pretty famous for its numerous 1/128 chance item drops, to the point that people look for them as a part of a challenge run.
I'm just glad someone else saw the quality of disco kid's pause music
somehow the positive bowser option in mario party happened to me today
I giggled at “HM SLAVE 1” 😂
5:38 that trophy was actually just a normal trophy you could earn in game. It's just that, that character was from a game that was only released in Japan so they removed it from international releases.
I played the absolute HECK out of Kirby Super Star Ultra, and I NEVER knew that!!!
Me i knew as a kid, but i only knew since 2014
The gold event in Mario party 2 I got more often then some of the other events related to loosing coins.
Same thing in Brawl, I think.
We all know the rarest event is when a smash player actually showers
Damn 😂
And it’s even rarer for them to shower daily.
2:04 love this jingle
The last one would be even rarer if the Celebi was a shiny.
and had pokerus

Man really got the Pokémon lotto to match his HM Slave’s ID 🥶
The pokemon mystery dungeon song used cracks me up
I completely forgot about diamond dust. They should bring this back as an actual weather effect
I think they will, but won’t call it diamond dust anymore. If you didn’t know, diamond dust is a special strand of cocaine. So it was really funny seeing a area that had cocaine falling from the sky, lol.
@@Unchainedful It's also the most powerful move of Shiva, Queen of Ice in FF. That what makes her so strong. She spreads it on enemies, overdose them and they die. Easy logic.
But yes, Diamond Dust should be featured again.
Ngl, Bowser just standing there trying to process what just happened before booking it is too hilarious to me
MegaMan x: double you'll pay for your betrayel DOUBLE CYCLONE
Double: hahaha you fool
I have seen sparkling water in bdsp pkmn near the boat town and I think I chose wrong and im not sure, but there may be something there pls help I saw it at sunset (irl and in game) near the drawbridge, only ever saw it once, I had been there plenty of times before for fish pokemon but I never saw it sparkling like that, disappeared after a battle, couldn’t rewind time to get it either, is this a glitch or am I on to something?
Not sure for been intended or bug...🤔
@@IvanFranco120 yes, but a major reason I think it may not be a bug is because it looked like it was there for a reason, it looked as real as bdsp can look, it looked oddly purposeful, maybe a scrapped mirage island-like mechanic and it didn’t matter what I chose?
@@IvanFranco120 honestly I have no clue, it could be how my galarian character fell into legends arceus for all I know!
@@IvanFranco120 also been wondering if anyone else has seen it
I've gotten both mario and Samus while playing Kirby Super Star Ultra lol
Same, as a kid. But never saw the Samus one, though...
1:45
I think the overall chance is 1 out of 6561, not sure if 0s can be used for ticket numbers. If that's the case, then it's 1 out of 10000 of that happening.
That pokemon in the box sure had quite the name!
In Pokemon Battle Revolution, there are shiny Pokemon outfits that you can obtain if you beat someone who has one. People thought it was a myth for many years and only a few people have them
Fun fact, a master ball is the pokeloto prize in some if not most games
I was shocked when the Loto Ticket said HM Slave 1
"Kris,here's ur GS ball back!"
I have won a Master Ball once playing Pokemon Ruby back in the days. I guess it was even more rare on the older games because you couldn’t trade online whereas in newer games you could use features like Wonder Trade and get a bunch of different Trainer IDs
I've been to mirage island!!! I didn't think it was that low of a chance though...
Bowser: "Prepare to suffer your fate!" *rolls the wheel* *Lands on 10,000 coin gift*
Me: "Ha, pay up buddy!"
Bowser ran!
Me: "Yeaaaah, I knew that was gonna happen. Coward." XD
3:47 - Okay now i understand why it was like weirdly glittery when i woke up and forgot to save on new year's. I was thinking the game glitched. Huh...
diamond dust also appears on a player's birthday in x and y!
2:30 Where I come from we call her Down Special body part different names that would probably trigger RUclips's filter, but each to their own, I guess
I haven't seen Mirage Island before...
It was too rare I didn't bother finding it before
The Mario world trophy looks good and that with the Oinks didn't know you got after a Golden op items
As Luigi I've Got 5 miss fires in a row in smash ultimate
Of these, I've seen Bowser fail to deliver on the promise of "Stars - Packed to Go", and I definitely saw a mythical Pokemon turn up in Brawl. I think it was Jirachi. I could be very wrong. Never any of the others.
Kecleon: u stole from me, now Ima kill u
Also Kecleon: *Proceeds to join the team of the guy who stole a item from his shop*
Mario party rare event: your relationships surviving through the game
The amount of effort they put into their videos❤
I've seen Bowser run away in Mario Party countless times. I know I've gotten the positive thing personally at least 5 times while playing the game over the years.
