Got mine yesterday, instantly fall in love. It's sooo small, cute, great quality, simply, best quad ever. People, if you want to buy a quad, don't hesitate with this one, you will love it, before even remove the package!!!
These little drones are awesome, I bought one myself and it arrived yesterday. We already have a mini drone but I was surprised at how much quicker and more durable this one is. It got hit by our ceiling fan, and went flying across the room and smashed into the wall. I was worried because I thought it would be dead but no! Apart from a little dent in the top of it's body it still works perfectly fine!
I've been practising with my CX10 and its surprisingly easy to fly. Im going to carry on flying it before moving on to bigger quads. Thanks for the review.
Just saw it on FB and I'm really excited about this little flyer! My son would love to watch something like this, and the price is well within almost any budget.

I realised after my first charge and rewatching your video that I'd been using it on the fastest speed setting, so that probably was why I was finding it so hard to control. kinggimped I think you will be surprised at how fast you get the hang of it... keep practicing and you will be flying like me soon enough! :) Just take it slow and easy and try to get a feel for one thing at a time. As for the stick extensions, you just pull off the thumbpads and stick the extension onto the nub, and then put the thumbpads back onto the extension. This is really a cool toy. When I first got it I just needed to pair and trim the quadcopter, and it's ready to fly. I purchased the pastel blue version for SGD24.50 and I never regretted buying it.
+Cairo Murphy (TheMasterAssassin8787) I would recommend this blog, he has a very helpful guide for how to fly a quadcopter. quadcopter101.blogspot.com/
I got one of these to mess around with the pets. The dog has grabbed it out of the air a number of times, broken through the shell on both top and bottom. Almost pierced the battery pack. And it's taken a lot of hits and falls. Because of one fall the latch for the case over one motor has broken off halfway, so the case sits a bit higher on that arm because of it. Twisted the propellers a lot, mainly from the dog's bite. All that damage and this cheap little thing still flies perfectly. I now taped up the 4 bases under each motor with a soft sticky pad under it and wrapped it up using cellophane tape for less weight and a bit of electrical tape to hold it tight around each motor case. This allows for softer landings but does take a little off the flight time. In all it's a great cheap way to learn. And definitely worth the $25. If this had been one of the $40 models it would have broke several times by now. The full shell makes all the difference. Even if it is cheap plastic.
vignesh sivakumar I could, but I review things as they come "out-of-the-box" and it is something worth noting. :) Besides, they now sell spare props with two colored props, so I think that proves my review right. ;)
@@siimsimsiim lmao, he replied 5 years late and never even said thankyou The funniest part about it is that I don't even think he knows he is a bit late 😂
Hey Ryan I've just found out that if you have an OTG cable the power draw is low enough that you can charge it with your phone and it takes the same amount of time as if from the wall. This makes this quad truly portable as you only need your quad the charger and an OTG cable and not have to carry around a power bank if your far away from an outlet.
Awesome video! I'm new to the whole micro flying RC world and I picked up two of these little babies before even knowing anything about them. Your video was super informative. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome ... looks easy to control and is cheap as chips. A good starting point for beginners before moving on to the big boys... thanks for the video demo !!!
Techgeek If you're flying a quite large quad then transitioning to this one, it's a big adjustment. As the acceleration of this quad is quicker than you think. I broke a propeller because it was my first time flying these thinger magiggers.
Great review! Funny you said that about cutting down props from other micro quads...I had to do just that a few days ago when I crashed one time too many and ran out of working props! I just took one of those useless v272s and jacked it for an extra prop! Lol
I bought one of these and was pretty impressed so I bought a second one. Both fly great. Even flies great outdoors on calm days/nights. Flew mine outdoors last night and sent it up pretty high. BE careful though, range is about 80 -90 feet. THing is so tiny you'll hardly see it at 50 ft.
i charged mine and i switched it on and the lights started flashing and the motors turned like for half a second when i gave it throttle now when i turn it on nothing happens no lights or anything i tried charging it again it took 10 seconds for it to finish and i tried again and still nothing no lights or anything
Awesome to see you're still at it flyin Ryan ! I got my first flying rc, a proto X about 5 months ago, stumbled upon your flying vids, learned about the hubsan x4 controller and have been flying ever since!! I now actually work part time at a HobbyTown USA near Seattle, fly a Parkzone Visionaire and an MCPX BL and can knock out some very respectable 3d moves on both!! Hovers to rolling Harrier and tik tocs to (honestly sloppy) piro flips! I am also diving into fpv, I practice on my x4 and spyhawk and saving for long rang set up on a blackout, discovery or maybe a simple 350qx! I want to say thanks man, I've come full circle and started flipping my proto x into the dog bowl and thought I'd check out ur vids again! Keep up the awesome work!
Hey Ryan...Thanks for the cool reviews. They're giving me the insight I need before making my first quad purchase. Will probably go with this little fella (CX-10) just to build my confidence.
Lee Cross Thanks, I'm glad you find them helpful! A nano quad actually isn't the best to learn on, as they can be twitchy and harder to fly than bigger quads, actually. I generally suggest the UDI U816A as a learner. It is cheap, relatively easy to fly, and well-protected, so you can crash it all over the place without worry about hurting it or anything else. :)
Flyin' Ryan RC I see your point...A larger quad will provide increased stability. I've had a fair bit of experience with coaxial micro heli's, so hopefully should be able to get to grips with a nano quad reasonably quickly? 'Hopefully'! Lol Will check out your recommended model, thanks again. ;-)
I saw it and everything went better until the drone fell and one of the propellers is not working anymore :( can you help me? It just arrived yesterday and it doesn't work anymore .(
morrisman93 In what way is it not working? If it is not spinning, then you might have killed the motor. If it is not creating lift, then you likely have the wrong pitch prop on.
Awesome little quad, mine should be here sometime next week. I can't wait! I noticed that the props on the CX-10 are much closer in orientation to each other compared to the protoX. Do you think this design is the key to it's precise maneuverability and tight stable flips? Thanks for the review!
shield400 I think that's just because the quad is smaller, but they use the same size props as the Proto X. I think it would actually be more likely to cause instability, actually, since the further away from the CG the props are, the more inherently stable it would be. But I think it could indeed account for the tight flips. I think the control board and 6-axis programming is to thank for the stability and flight characteristics. :)
Hey Ryan, mine just arrived today and its so small and fast and durable it hit the walls a lot and it still flies good. I also used a nerf dart to made improvised landing boots.
Maaaan am I late to the party, but my CX-10 arrived right along side a new Hubsan Q4. (My Estes Syncro is getting a bit beaten up) While the Q4 is cool and a good flyer, the CX-10 is REALLY cool and a REALLY good flyer! I'm still using prop guards while I acquire more flying skills but the CX-10 guard is cheap insurance and the thing still flies well with it on. I can see why there are so many clones of this flyer...or it it a clone of something else? Only you would know! LOL
Lovin your vids Ryan. Easy to listen to. You don't ramble too much and you know your stuff. Great that you have so many quads and therefore can do a lot of comparisons.
Flyin' Ryan RC It wouldn't take off without flying sharply to the left or right, so I crashed it a couple times and busted a blade. After I replaced the blade, the copter won't take off at all. And yeah, the joystick for throttle is very sensitive. You had the right idea putting the extenders on.
Karen Elizabeth Ah, you likely put on the wrong pitched blade! There are two different types of blades, so you have to be sure to replace a blade with one with the same pitch. Whichever blade you replaced, compare it with the blade diagonal from it… they should have the same pitch. Hope that helps get you back in the air! As for flying hard to the left or right, try recalibrating the accelerometer on a flat level surface. I discuss how to do that somewhere around the 6:30 mark in this video, if I recall correctly.
Flyin' Ryan RC OK... :-O Whooooaaa it's flying again, THANKS! :-D The instructions are in engrish and make no mention whatsoever of how to replace the blades. It still takes off way too fast, though.
warp00009 Yep, definitely! Probably could handle quite a bit of wind actually. Not much body for wind resistance, and quite a bit of power for its size. :)
Well I must say, after flying this thing everyday over and over, this thing takes a beating, I fly it outdoors a lot and I think because the mass is so low it just doesn't take any damage. I've crashed it into trees, had it bounce off the side of the house and land on cement, the props just have very minor scuffs. My only complaint is I wish the yaw sped up a little as the rates go up, I also wish there was yaw trim, but other than that I absolutely love it. The 15min charge time makes it so much fun. Also to note, mine came in a plain jane white box like your H1 Mini Ninja. Anyway thanks for recommending it Ryan!
A- Wall Awesome, glad you are happy with it! :) And, yeah, I've heard these are being repackaged in plain boxes, because people were complaining about the plastic cases getting smashed in shipping. :/
Just got mine and had a couple of flights with it, absolutely amazing little quad! I would say though that the problem you had in the video after the flip where it went unstable, has happened to me twice already. After a flip it will on occasion lose its calibration and veer off. I am certainly more reluctant to flip this little thing because of it.
Hi Ryan, So I was doing some shopping with GearBest and I happen to see that their using your video for Cheerson cx10. How awesome! You the Man! Actually They have them on sale right now.
Itty bitty titty commity Weird, someone else was just talking about having the same issue. I have no idea what could cause that. My only suggestions would be to try new batteries in the transmitter, try turning the transmitter on first, and then the quad, and vise versa, and maybe turn off any 2.4ghz devices that might be causing interference.
It's a pretty cheap drone, so i don't think it would break the bank if he breaks it, unless he thinks the quadcoptor is like alien space-ship or something otherwise it humourous
There is a discount store selling these for $35 here in New Zealand. They were a lot more a year ago, so I think I'll get one before they sell out. I still love my $25 Kmart nano. It lost a motor a few weeks ago and I was actually able to transplant a motor from an busted nano to get it going again. So cheap and repairable.
It's a cool quadcopter. I wonder if it is still the smallest (as of Jan. 2015)? In any case, if it were not for the tiny, toy-like transmitter, I would buy it.
I just received my new WLtoys V676, a Cheerson clone, and it's the SLIGHTEST bit smaller than my CX-10 (and includes "headless" mode). New king of the hill?
Doggeslife Yeah, I did notice that, but it's pretty trivial. And I did not like the V676 (see my review), so it may be a bit smaller, but the CX-10 is definitely still better. And the CX-10A is adding headless mode, but that's a really worthless feature that just teaches bad habits. :/
I absolutely love my little orange CX10. IMO it blows the ProtoX out of the water in build quality, flips, flight and price. I picked mine up for $18 and some change. I really like the green also, I'll be adding it to my collection. edit: I just ordered the green :)
Dubbin1 It really is quite an impressive little nano. And I just love the bright green! I have one of each of the other colors on the way too. Figured I'd get the whole set. haha
Thanks 4 The Tips...I Actually Fly My Little Cheerson CX10 With Some "Asprey Blades" Off Of A "Propel Proton"...They Fit Right On & Up The Performance a Bit...See You Guys
Hey Ryan, first off I gotta say. Great videos. You've been a big help. I've owned a hubsan x4 hd for about a month thanks to your reviews. I've had the cheerson cx 10 for 3 days and it's amazing. Now for my next move. I've been looking for about an hour for your comment on your favorite top 5 and can't find it. And I'm looking to move up from the hubsan and would love a more stable outdoor quad with a camera. So I guess my questions would be what r your current top 5 and should I go to the blade 200 or the alias latrax next????? Thanks again. Sorry for the long read
bigstewy60 Well, my top 5 varies depending on use. I'm not overly into the camera quads, so they don't really make my top 5 lists. The Alias and 200 QX are great (my top 2 favorites), but the Alias is not great for carrying a camera, and the 200 QX is quite advanced and powerful, so I would not suggest flying it until you are absolutely confident in your flying skills. The Syma X5C and JJRC H8C would be good starter camera quads to check out. The WLtoys V636 would also be a good cheaper alternative to the Alias, and there is an optional 1080p camera for it, though the camera is not great and the quad's performance is definitely affected when carrying it.
Looks like I've got more quads to review :) thanks for the help! I'm sure I'll end up getting the alias anywayse before i make a more calculated move to a camera quad! Too much fun!
bigstewy60 The Alias is a great quad. :) Be warned though, lots of reports on early motor deaths with that one, which I'm not sure if it's really a flaw, or more user-error, or what.
So now I have a different question. I have flown my hubsan far far away and I'm not getting it back. The bnf only saves me maybe 15 bucks for the hd model. Should I replace my hubsan x4 hd or go the syma xc5 route. They are running the same price at my local hobby shop
bigstewy60 Well, first I must comment and say that I strongly suggest working on not flying quads away… unless you are way out in the wide open, and not near people/property. The X4 likely won't do any damage, but if you were to do that with something like the X5C, that could really do some damage to people or property. The X4 and X5C are quite different quads, so it's really hard for me to make a suggestion one way or the other. The X4 is fast and sporty. The X5C is mostly an aerial video platform, and not good in wind. The size is also a major factor, and the X5C is really only good for outdoor flight, whereas the X4 can easily be flown indoors.
I recently received this quad in the mail and yes its is very small. It makes the proto x look huge. Out-of-the-box its super fast, however I had to a lot of trimming as it had a large tendency to go forward. I am an intermediate quad pilot and it took me about 5 flights to get the hang of it. Its faster and more responsive than the the proto X or the Blade QX 75. The flips are super tight. I almost like flying it better in high rates because you can control it better. In low rates it seems harder to fly because of the lack of trim control. Also unlike the proto x. This thing is solid and can do some damage so be careful. Thanks for the review.
Yeah I did I think it did it right according to the video...left stick lower left corner and right stick upper left corner then LEDS on the right side blinked. Still have to trim more than I normally do. I will have to keep experimenting. Practice makes perfect I guess
Flyin' Ryan RC I wanted to follow up with you on this quad. You were very much correct about the props being the source of my issues. I replaced the slightly damaged props and it flew like a dream. This quad is very sensitive to prop damage. One good wall crash and that its for the props. However the Proto x props work great for this quad and seems to be a little better quality than the cheerson ones . When the quad has new props it flies and flips like nothing else. Also there is a flip trick/caution. If you hold the flip command (after the flip button has been pressed) instead of flicking the knob you hold it that direction the quad will flip but then zoom the opposite direction in super speed.
Awesome stuff. First time flyer. Just bought this yesterday. Having a great time. I messed up a landing though and now my front left motor is dragging behind the other three and I can't get any lift. Any ideas?
Lucas Friedfeld Did you possibly replace the prop with one with the incorrect pitch? If not, the motor may have gotten damaged, in which case you'd either need to replace the motor, or the entire quad.
Check to see if the propeller blades are tracking straight by viewing them from the side while spinning. Look for wobble. You may have bent a motor shaft. If so, careful straightening with a pair of needle nose pliers might get you flying again.
All fixed! I ordered some extra prop blades and bought a guard for it. I love this stuff. It is so much fun. Great hobby. Any recommendations for my next quad copter?
Hi Ryan: Another great video. Looking at both the Hubsan H111 and this Cheerson. I like the fact you can use a Hubsan H107C controller with the H111, but overall, which one did you prefer? This Cheerson seems a bit more $ than the H111.
Nice. It's funny, I just ordered my yesterday and you came out with the review today. I feel more comfortable with my purchase now. Thanks lol I ordered a orange one and if I really like it I'm going to get a green one too.
HelloRyan, FYI the polarity on the charging cord for the Cheerson CX-10 is the reverse polarity from the look-alike Syma chargers. You should check with a multi-meter. I had that problem with some clone Syma S107G's I bought on eBay. Larry Hill
I love your channel! I subbed and your videos are very entertaining! Keep doing this man, and I am also getting the Silverlit Nano because of you, so thanks.
Awww man!! I just ordered a bunch of proto X's a Christmas gifts.. And now I find this! Looks like a much better tiny quad for a better price.. DAMNIT!
Love this little bug, but I have some problem with the orientation. I got the blue one, which is a bit to "pale", and I found it easier to see and fly the orange or green quad. Any smaller now though, and the radio will have to come with a magnifying visor. :-)
duvan20201 Well, apparently the CX-10 comes in two different protocols, so there's really no telling. My CX-10 and CX-30 do use the same protocol though.
I have 2 of these guys for the office and I suck so much at flying it. I've been told to keep it low to the ground to get used to how it flies but watching this video reminds me how bad I am at flying quads.
Markus Leung Actually you should get at least 3 feet off the ground, so that you are out of the "ground effect" where air from the props is bouncing off the ground. That is turbulent air, and flying in it is harder than a few feet off the ground. Otherwise, I have some tips to practice flying in this video: ruclips.net/video/N4qJNgV0DGI/видео.html
I don't know who what when where but I found the one on the right in my back yard when in went outside, I have no idea where it came from and who did it but I was shocked, this thing looks so cool.
Hey Ryan. Great review and flight bud. Man, they keep getting smaller and smaller. Soon we will be flying quads the size of a bug! ;) Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing and happy flying.
Miles Frontella I think we have quite some time before we see FPV systems small and light enough to fit on a nano quad. That would be pretty cool though!
jp2code Personally, I would not get the wide-angle version. The standard lens (that I use) already has a good bit of wide-angle to it, without too much fisheye. And, based on comparison videos I watched on RUclips, the wide-angle lens actually degrades the quality of the video.
I've been through 2 CX-10's now. Fun, but both suffered broken power switches with a week, leaving me with 2 dead quads. The first suffered the protruding tab of the switch breaking off flush with the side of the body, later falling apart completely. The second suffered a breaking of the thin black plastic portion on the front of the switch, allowing the slider tab to rotate and fall out. In both cases I was being careful. The power switches are very fragile. I now have a CX-10A in hand, with a 3rd CX-10 basic on the way. I think I may use a stiff feather to power them on and off from now on (teasing...). I also have acquired a V959 Pro transmitter and hope to try it with the CX-10 as soon as it arrives. That would solve the too-small TX issue for me.
Doggeslife Hmm, can't say I've had that problem, or heard of others with that problem. Maybe you're just too strong for your own good. :)~ Let me know about the transmitter, but I don't have high hopes for it working. :(
I like the smaller size. I think for now the size of the quads are limited by the sizes of batteries. although e-flite and ares both make small batteries but are usually 70 to 30 mAh. Smaller is better here. Just bought one. Thanks for the review Ryan

nerdsrsmarticle Good, but it's a bit hard to trim and control because i'm used to helicopters.

If this had been one of the $40 models it would have broke several times by now.
The full shell makes all the difference. Even if it is cheap plastic.

Love this quad, first time ever using a quad, it was hard at first but once I knew how to fly with it it became really nice to fly! :D
How does it fly
@@michael_blais lmao, it flies great. Actually still have it somewhere.
Sorry I mean how long does it fly and how long does it take to charge
@@michael_blais not so long, few minutes. I'd say around 10 maybe, and go charge 20, just guessing. These reviews will say more accurate timings.
@@siimsimsiim lmao, he replied 5 years late and never even said thankyou
The funniest part about it is that I don't even think he knows he is a bit late 😂
Matt Jasionowski Glad you liked it. :)
Awesome ... looks easy to control and is cheap as chips. A good starting point for beginners before moving on to the big boys... thanks for the video demo !!!
Techgeek Plus its easy to bring with you to places.
Lol
Frequent Flyer RC Finally, something the V272 is good for! lol :)~

Added a propeller guard to my Cheerson CX-10. Great investment, helps protect propellers and even seems to make it more stable in the air.
I bought one of these and was pretty impressed so I bought a second one. Both fly great. Even flies great outdoors on calm days/nights. Flew mine outdoors last night and sent it up pretty high. BE careful though, range is about 80 -90 feet. THing is so tiny you'll hardly see it at 50 ft.
am i the only one that finds it cute?
Bill383 Not at all. :)
nope, it's adorable :)
Yes it’s so cute I want to piss on it

it would be cool if it had some sort of nano camera on it and a screen or a phone attactment on the controller

I have the pink one =) I love it so much it's so cute. I'm having a hard time flying it (first time quadcopter) but it's still fun!

i charged mine and i switched it on and the lights started flashing and the motors turned like for half a second when i gave it throttle now when i turn it on nothing happens no lights or anything i tried charging it again it took 10 seconds for it to finish and i tried again and still nothing no lights or anything
Flyin' Ryan RC should I bye a cx-10 or not
Japanna are you a trap?
Chad R Awesome! I still haven't delved much into 3D flight, but I've always been amazed by watching it. :)
Lol
Will check out your recommended model, thanks again. ;-)
Lee Cross In that case, I think you would probably do decently well with this as your first quad. :)
Flyin' Ryan RC I'd like to eventually work up through the Blade series of quads...They are just awesome little flyers!
Lee Cross Yeah, they are my favorites. :)
Duuuude! you are so good at flying it, for me it is really hard, I can't keep it stable haha
morrisman93 Thanks! Here are my tips for beginners, to help you get started flying: ruclips.net/video/N4qJNgV0DGI/видео.html
I saw it and everything went better until the drone fell and one of the propellers is not working anymore :( can you help me? It just arrived yesterday and it doesn't work anymore .(
morrisman93 In what way is it not working? If it is not spinning, then you might have killed the motor. If it is not creating lift, then you likely have the wrong pitch prop on.
its the motor cause its not spinning
morrisman93 might not be the motor, try to lift the prop a bit
interesting how all these guys that got cheaper prices never share links :)
I lost my *Hubsan X4* man :(
Waiting for my new one to arrive !!!
***** Oh no! :(
Awesome little quad, mine should be here sometime next week.
Brian James Fadol It's an awesome little quad. :)
Hey quad God! I took mine for a flight and a hawk attack it! Wish I a video of it! Both survived. :)

Maaaan am I late to the party, but my CX-10 arrived right along side a new Hubsan Q4. (My Estes Syncro is getting a bit beaten up)
While the Q4 is cool and a good flyer, the CX-10 is REALLY cool and a REALLY good flyer!
I'm still using prop guards while I acquire more flying skills but the CX-10 guard is cheap insurance and the thing still flies well with it on.
I can see why there are so many clones of this flyer...or it it a clone of something else?
Only you would know! LOL
***** The CX-10 is the original. :D And, yes, it is awesome, and unreal for the price! :)

Killer Drummer 5 mins
I broke my Cheerson - CX-10 in less than 5 min. :-(
Karen Elizabeth Bummer. :( In what way did it break?
Karen Elizabeth Glad that helped! You will get more familiar with throttle control as you practice, so keep flying! :D
I got mine today and the cx-10 is incredible! Very nice, very stable and very fast!
Gringo Hys Glad you like it! :)

Thanks bro , I just ordered one and I really can't wait for it hopefully I don't get disappointed.
Hi Ryan - great CX10 review as usual! One question though, would you say it's flyable outdoors in low wind? Thanks!
warp00009 Yep, definitely!
MattZildjian Has it done that for you after one flip, or does it only happen after several consecutive flips?
Hi Ryan, So I was doing some shopping with GearBest and I happen to see that their using your video for Cheerson cx10. How awesome! You the Man! Actually They have them on sale right now.
Kazz- Mann Yep, I gave them permission to do that. :) Thanks! :)
Finally got my cx 10, this thing is awesome! Glad u suggested it!
Hey Ryan I'm having pairing issues with my cheerson, the lights come on but it doesn't flash do you have any ideas?
Itty bitty titty commity Weird, someone else was just talking about having the same issue. I have no idea what could cause that. My only suggestions would be to try new batteries in the transmitter, try turning the transmitter on first, and then the quad, and vise versa, and maybe turn off any 2.4ghz devices that might be causing interference.
Okay I'll give it a shot thanks
Itty bitty titty commity did you figure out the pairing issue? Friends one doing same thing
hey.. just wanted top say thanks for all the reviews, and the thoroughness!!
very useful when shoppin around for stuff like this.
WatchFor Piranha Glad you find them helpful! :)
I've got a green one, just like in the video. Lots of fun. My 4yo loves it--he doesn't fly it, he just watches. Great little drone.
It's a pretty cheap drone, so i don't think it would break the bank if he breaks it, unless he thinks the quadcoptor is like alien space-ship or something otherwise it humourous
He's got a little Air Hog's drone he plays with around the house. Really likes it.
does it has camera?
There is a discount store selling these for $35 here in New Zealand. They were a lot more a year ago, so I think I'll get one before they sell out. I still love my $25 Kmart nano. It lost a motor a few weeks ago and I was actually able to transplant a motor from an busted nano to get it going again. So cheap and repairable.
They are $15 on Amazon.
I just got this for Christmas (today) without even asking for it. Seems pretty cool, charging it up!
It's a cool quadcopter. I wonder if it is still the smallest (as of Jan. 2015)?
In any case, if it were not for the tiny, toy-like transmitter, I would buy it.
mostlykpop Yes, this is still the smallest.
I saw this video and a day later I bought one! Im going to make a review video. I cant wait for it to come!
Figured I'd get the whole set. haha

Waiting for mine to arrive, plus a load of spares :) Can't wait looks really smooth.
olatron Hope you like it. :)
Thanks for the review.
rlabsher I agree on all points. :) Did you try recalibrating the accelerometer to see if that helps with the forward tendency?
Yeah I did I think it did it right according to the video...left stick lower left corner and right stick upper left corner then LEDS on the right side blinked. Still have to trim more than I normally do. I will have to keep experimenting. Practice makes perfect I guess
rlabsher Also check the props for damage. Even the slightest nicks and bends in a size this small can have drastic affect on stability.
If you hold the flip command (after the flip button has been pressed) instead of flicking the knob you hold it that direction the quad will flip but then zoom the opposite direction in super speed.
rlabsher Glad you got it sorted out! :)
Just ordered one of these...can't wait!
I did replace prop. Don't know anything about pitch though. Quick crash course?
Lucas Friedfeld Check out this video of mine for some help/info on that: ruclips.net/video/N4qJNgV0DGI/видео.html
Kinda reminds me of those little flying saucers in The Batteries Not Included, my fave movie when I was little. Pretty cool man!
remember having one of these this was my first nano quad copter as a little kid super fun when that time lasted
Just got mine in the mail today and it is unbelievably small!
A- Wall Yeah, you can't really imagine how small it is until it's right there in your hand. :)
Thanks lol I ordered a orange one and if I really like it I'm going to get a green one too.
mannu79 I think you will like it. :)
HelloRyan,
FYI the polarity on the charging cord for the Cheerson CX-10 is the reverse polarity from the look-alike Syma chargers. You should check with a multi-meter. I had that problem with some clone Syma S107G's I bought on eBay. Larry Hill
L4foto Ah, that would explain why I couldn't get a random charger to work with my CX-11. Thanks for the info!

Aussie RC Playground Oh nice, you'll love the Nano QX! And, hey, this is only $20, so go for it! :D
Flyin' Ryan RC Friend, cheerson control cx-10 works for the cheerson cx-30? thank you
duvan20201 Well, apparently the CX-10 comes in two different protocols, so there's really no telling.
I'll give it a try, no promises I don't hit a coworker in the head. thanks for tips
Markus Leung Hehe :)~
Thanks for the code! Just ordered it and got it for £10 that is so cheap!

Well done review! We will test now a similar quadcopter from carson called nana 2.4
The cheerson CX 10 is waterproof. I dropped it in a sink full of dish water, and three weeks later I'm still flying it!
Congratulations on 1,000,000 views :)

Thnaks for you review!!!! Regards from Mexico!!!!
Alejandro Ramírez Thanks for watching! Hello from America! :)
I don't know who what when where but I found the one on the right in my back yard when in went outside, I have no idea where it came from and who did it but I was shocked, this thing looks so cool.
Thanks for video. One more quadcopter I want to try.
Hey Ryan. Great review and flight bud. Man, they keep getting smaller and smaller. Soon we will be flying quads the size of a bug! ;) Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing and happy flying.
georgesjunglerc I know, right!? I can't wait to see where this nano RC tech goes in the future. :D
They have to make it fpv
Miles Frontella I think we have quite some time before we see FPV systems small and light enough to fit on a nano quad. That would be pretty cool though!
Yes it would
Well done video, Ryan. I noticed both hands were free and the video quality was superb. What kind of setup do you record with? Is it a GoPro head cam?
jp2code It's a Mobius Action Cam velcroed to the bill of an old baseball cap. :) Pretty awesome for a $70 camera, eh!? :D
Flyin' Ryan RC Found it on Amazon for $74. Awesome! Got to get one. www.amazon.com/dp/B00GT2B4R6
jp2code Personally, I would not get the wide-angle version. The standard lens (that I use) already has a good bit of wide-angle to it, without too much fisheye. And, based on comparison videos I watched on RUclips, the wide-angle lens actually degrades the quality of the video.
Flyin' Ryan RC Thanks. I hadn't noticed that was the wide-angle version until you pointed it out.
In my video I had trouble trimming it. Doesn't lift straight up and hover it driffs. Mine is the 10A
I've been through 2 CX-10's now.
Thanks for the review Ryan
rlabsher It will certainly be fun to see how much smaller these things get in the future. Glad you liked the review, and I hope you enjoy the quad! :)
Take a shot every time he says "tiny" bet you're drunk after 2 minutes
LOL (tiny), that's (tiny) funny (tiny).
I picked one of these up from Banggood for $7. Nice little house quad.
it just sounds so adorable.
