I lost my dog, my best friend in February. He was with me since the start of Destiny, and near the end of Destiny 2. I feel as if I've lost a part of myself with him now gone. He was my Guardian, as I was a Guardian for him.
I adore these stories about our vendors backstories and seeing them vulnerable. It just shows that we aren't alone in what we may feel.

I love these wholesome moments in Destiny. They're a reminder that, even though you're a literal god killer, warlord, or even just a mercenary, you're still only human/exo/awoken. Not just a souless husk without personality. Bungie digs deeper and builds these characters lives as if they were our own at one point. That is how you fall in love with Shaxx. Zavala. Even your own guardian.

They recently changed the voice over for the new light campaign start and added a new cut scene before the guardian rises. The cut scene now gives a brief overview of what is happening in destiny 2 before showing a ghost looking for a new guardian. The interesting part is that the voice is the one from the final shape trailer that many have been speculating on who was talking, the one that calls us the light of hope.

A war beast needs to become our pets. Use them as an ability, and you can have 1,2 or 3 of them to run up and attack anything in front of you.
