Just a quick question about the murph, do you do it in sets and take a break in between each exercise or just do the next exercise immediately?

Janitcia Perez you can do it any way you'd like, as long as you finish it. The way I do it is break it up into 5 sets: (Half Murph) I do a half mile run- 10 pull-ups - 20 push-ups - 30 air squats - half mile run. Also. Time yourself. The point of this exercise is to move quickly through the sets.

I would personally recommend the OMAD/IF lifestyle. I've been eating 1 meal a day and fasting for 20-23 hours a day for almost a year and I've lost over 40 lbs of pure body fat. After about a month, it's an easy regimen to follow.

No sit ups or crunches or other abdominal related exercises?

Marcell Gonzalez yes, Do the actual coast guard physical fitness test at least twice a week, along side the workout I recommend in this video.

I do something really similar every day, definitely a good way to stay fit. It's helping me get leaner in prep for boot camp :D

You should definitely make a video of you getting back in shape and demonstrating a little bit more of your diet and workout. I am currently 6 feet 270 lbs, I would like to join the journey and lose 70 lbs.

I've actually thought of doing something like that. I think it's time for me to get back into it and show that with hard work you can achieve great things 🤙🏽

I’m leaving for Boot Camp May 1st; I read online about how there’s an initial PT test during the first week. My recruiter never mentioned anything about it though. Is it for real and if so is it easier than the Week 4 PT test?

Jeremy Shuster it's real brotha. It won't be the first day though. It'll be sometime during the first week. Do this work out like I described (half Murph) and you'll do great physically at Coast Guard Boot Camp. Follow me on my social media platforms I just started going to the gym today. Hustle 👊🏽

Sounds good man, thanks. I’ve already been preparing well in the last few weeks. I’m just curious whether or not it’s the same standard as the test in Week 4.

Jeremy Shuster the standards throughout Boot Camp are never lowered. You must meet the standard regardless of what week you're in.
