Thanks for the quick and to the point video, very helpful. My only problem is I have to turn my shader off every time I enter a game even if it’s the same game.
Try clearing your core overrides and/or content folder overrides. Also clear your shader presets. Then exit go back in and save your shader as a content folder preset. Remember that shaders have their own configuration files that are separate from overrides. I’m pretty sure I was having a similar issue and this fixed it. Also make sure you don’t have filters on… that is under settings - video and can also be accessed without a game running.
One things that i think would add to retro is nearly every crt changed the shape of size of the output based the brightness of the screen. The best I've ever seen this done was on the game SuperHot
There is no "scroll down and select shaders", the shaders option is not there. I have all the shaders in the folder, I checked, there is just no menu option for shaders.
Try the Retro Game Corps video on Retroarch. He explains all the different hierarchies when saving presets, the different menus you can access, and the differences between an override and a configuration. quick menu is accessed after you load a game and then You have to apply it as an override. You can save a filter as a configuration and access them without a game, but shaders are overrides and need a game to be accessed. It’s all very 😵💫🤯

tutorial would be useful if you said how to SAVE the shader. It resets back to no shader when you exit Retorach

There's apparently some Amiga looking machines in Superhot VR too!

Good to know as the scanlines I used looked terrible. The older MAME 25% was what I was aiming for but they were just a banded mess in RA.
What shader settings did you use in GB Doctor Mario please?
Hy
Does this work on the PS Vita?
Xbox S my shaders won't load
Im using a ps4 and i dont have shaders in the quick menu
You may need to download them first via the online updater menu before they appear in the quick menu.
I hate this app. none of my genesis roms will play from the library unless I manually open them. and I can't get any shaders to work.
RetroArch does no show Quick Menu so this is useless.
You have to have a game active
