This was a hard watch. He's been my friend for decades. Hard not to cry watching it, but if anyone can bounce back from all he's been through it's him.
I've known him for 30 years. I probably know you too. It is hard to watch. I know there were some people looking for him and trying to help get him off the streets. One of the last times I saw him was on a film set that we were working on. He spent some time as a Grip/Sparky.
I know this man from the Austin days. He has never been anything but kind and sweet to me. Dave, if you get to read this, know that you have already left your mark in people's hearts. And contrary to your punk name of David Nobody, you are absolutely David Somebody. Much love ♥️♥️♥️
Oh my god. I grew up with him he is a very close friend of my moms and was like my uncle growing up. Incredible person. His family and mine are currently trying to find a way to get in contact with him so if anyone on here knows a way or if the people who made this video have any sort of contact information for him please reach out or at least tell him that jeannine is looking for him and he will know what you’re talking about. Thank you so much for sharing his story he is and always has been an amazing soul who we all love and care for very much.
I hope you get a hold of him. I am similar age and really could relate to his story. I can tell he is a great guy. Restless soul. My prayers for blessings to rain over his head right now.. I feel his pain. I also have serious pain issues. Discussed trying the ketamine treatment. The cost in my state is too huge. He needs help. I think Mark does these videos and is a talented author storyteller. He may contact you seeing your post
I wouldn't count on Mark seeing your comment, he's said many times that he rarely reads the comments for his own mental health. There's an email address on his community page. I would email him to see if he can facilitate a meeting with Emmanuel. Good luck 🤞
PLEASE don't think of this as just a "Fentanyl Addict Interview." It is, hands down, the most interesting interview I have seen on this channel. Just spectacular. What adventures. What a life.
That is the one thing I'd change about Mr. Laita's project: the interview titles. I get it from a practical standpoint. But Label Theory is a thing. And these people are, and deserve more, than the one-dimensional label in their interview title.
Dave, I knew you way back in the day in Seattle, in 1989 your band CatButt shared a space with my 1st band Doll Squad at the Music Bank under the Ballard Bridge. For sure there was an epidemic of heroin use in Seattle in the late 80's early 90's especially with musicians, I personally somehow steered clear of it, my drummer Patty got pulled in, sadly it happened to so many friends and talented people. I've always seen you as a fabulously artistic soul- it's good to see you surviving (although heartbreaking that you are in that situation)- I wish the best for you and pray you can find strength and protection to nurture your creative spirit and have peace in your life ❤
I knew David briefly in the 90s after he left Seattle and moved back to Houston. We worked at a club called Power Tools back then. I thought he was so cool because he had been in a grunge band I admired. He was a good guy with a kind heart as you can see in the video.
I love the fact that he's not name dropping. He's actually hung out with and jammed with some A list, iconic musicians. I love the fact that he's finally allowing himself to feel that deep emotional pain that he (deservedly) crammed away when he was young. It's not his fault and he now he knows that. It will help to set him free. Great guy. Great interview.
David, I’ve spoken to James and you on Facebook. You’re music and what you did in Seattle has influenced and gotten me through so god damn fucking much please don’t ever doubt what you put on this earth ever. It’s obscure but I fucking love it and have since I was 14 in my own skateboarding and living in friends garages. Please understand that. And if you want to do it again, you fuckin can. Much love from upstate ny
This has been one of my favorites. He is so insanely intelligent compassionate and self aware… I feel so awful that he went through the trauma he went through. My goodness. You can see the pain that he carries. I wish I could hug the little boy in him and tell him none of this was his fault, he didn’t deserve it and he can let it go. It’s incredible he actually had so much success as such a young kid in the rock band scene. I’m so glad he got to experience fun and being crazy and carefree. I really have such a soft spot for Emmanuel. I really hope someone can help him out and get off the street. He needs rest- he needs care, someone needs to help him resolve this trauma because he is way too good of a human to live in this turmoil and on the streets. He’s such a gift of a person. His name could never be tainted. Even his “fear” is in thought of others and leaving this world without leaving something great for other people. Man. This was tough. I wish I could directly help him. Would really love to see an update on him. Hang in there Emmanuel! You are freaking amazing!!!!!!!! ❤
As a recovering addict and schizophreniia i have a double wammy but lots of drug addicts have mental illness i love soft white underbelly. Its such a raw channel. It helps me to remember that but by the grace of God go i. This could be me. I had an opiate addiction for 30 yeara. During that addiction i would lie and cheat and stealing from high end stores. I got good at it. But in all my ueara of addiction i have never in my entire life stolen from a person. I prsotutied myself but i hate a thief. Stealing from an ulta is wrong Stealing from your loved ones never crossed my mind. I am fiercly loyal and my parents poor things i went to treatment like 17 times. I finally had to get on suboxone and i dont give 2 fucks who saya im not sober because i take medication prescribed by my phycatirst and i take it exactly as i was instructed i am prescribed 2 a day recently went to one and i feel ok bur for all serous opiate addics like myself need something because when ypu feed your body and opiate blocker is key. Because i was on methadone clinic for 3 year but i was nodding out and still feeling high because methadone is a full on opiate now i am on suboxone which does have an opiate in it but what suboxone has that methadone doesn't is it has an opiate blocker in it called naloxone. It keeps the cravinga away because i have the opiate blocler so i could take 10 opiates and it wouldnt get througg. I have tried most every drug there is crack witch i enjoyed immensely. I dated an iv drug user and he would alwaya want to hold the dope. We ran the streets. This was before the oppd epidemic. We would travel to Houston which is about 4 hours away we had a beat up truck well we were going t9 Houston as normap i remember arguing with my boyfriend because he was an alcoholic as well. Buy we would pick up between 500 and 600 loritabs a week. We also bought pounds of weed to sell. And other pills that sell well. We had to sell drugs to afford my habit. I stayed with my iv drug user boyfriend i still worked a real job i was a manager at a fragrance counter. I loved it but i ended up stealing from them too my life was a wreck and i didny see a way out. I have been sober unless ypu count suboxone. I miss the crazy sometimes. Sometimes i feel bored in my nice beautiful home that u pay for all on my own today. My boyfriend od 10 years didny make it all the drugs he just fizzled out and in the late stages of life. He was one of the ones that didnt make it. Its been years. I loved his children so we keep in touch. Ita sad they lost thier father and they are in their 20s ans dezpite his horrible drug addiction he always had his kids in his life. Maby that wasnt the right thing to do. I lost my kida to my first husband i went througk treatment i did 6 hair follicle test on my dime ans my treatment was a full year aftet i saw a family therapist she is very well respected in the community but i didny tell my counselor or any one elsw that there was a young couple who jusy wanted to fuck. I had nothing to do with it but somone tattled on them then they turnes to a few of us to ask if wr know well i am no fuvkinh rat scum. I said yea i knew but i dont snitch. They said that was addict behavior and even though i did every single assignment i patricipayed in class. I made no mistakes in treatment but the fucking administration put partial completion on my paper the judge took one look at that piece of paper and didnt even listen to my therapist for over a year. She came on her own i wasnt paying her she saic you are more than ready to be a mother again. But the judge said that since we had co custody that he could rip them from me. Aftet i officially lost my kids after i did everything that they asked of me then i had a death wish. I took so much drugs. I was beaten down and mu lawyer that my parents paid almost 20 grand to little did i know i chose my attorney because i would see him at meetings. Ligtle did i know he was back on drugs. So he basically promised me that if i jump through every hoop that i would get 7 and 7 back. I was allowed supervised visits for 2 hours on sunday. And i never went there hign
@@monicabroussard840 never let anyone tell you you’re not sober on Suboxone. I know many people who have now gotten their lives back on track because of it. Many addicts aren’t even aware Suboxone even exits. More doctors should prescribe it, especially in these days of so many Fentanyl deaths. Best of luck to you.
My mind is blown by this interview. He's the type of person I'd love to see get clean and off the streets, and maybe get involved in a program to help others. I wish him the best.
More heartbreaking that no one is offering help and are just signaling their own virtue by advertising how they feel his pain. Meanwhile the guy needs 500 bucks to get his car back
WOW, I'm almost speechless. What a life this man had & has. Heartbreaking doesn't begin to describe this! There has to be help out there for him. His biggest fear is not leaving a meaningful mark for having lived? Rest easy my friend, you accomplished that today through this video. I'm sure you touched many people and your life matters. God reads your heart, you're in my prayers 🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏻🙏🙏🏼🙏🏿
Oh man, this interview touched my heart and soul!! You can hear the pain and sadness in his voice; so raw!!😢 If I could talk to him face-to-face I’d tell him, the little boy inside you wants to be set free, free from all this hurt and pain you’ve had to carrying around for decades!! That little boy needs to know, it WAS NOT his fault for the devastating abuse he had to endure at the hands of that POS MONSTER that hurt you. If no one’s has ever told you that they’re sorry for what happened to you as a child, I’m here to tell you, I’m so sorry that no one protected you and the adults in your life failed you!! I’ll be praying for you and I hope you’re doing well. ❤🙏🏼 I hope ALL your friends and family that are looking for you found you and you’re finally back home!!❤ If anyone has an update, will you please let us know. Thank you!!
Emanuel’s story is fascinating. His life is testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Not many people survive half the shit he has but here he is, at 56, with a desire to leave a meaningful legacy to a world he’s suffered so much to survive. Bless you, Emanuel.🙏🏽 I hope you find comfort and peace of mind in your senior years..♥️
Such an articulate and intelligent man. You are worthy of love. Don't feel ashamed. Big hugs!!! We love you. Thank you Mark for sharing this man's wonderful story with us.
I like him a lot. So smart, insightful, and articulate I got a lot out of his story. It hurt me deeply every time he paused and tried to fight getting upset. And when he said he was so exhausted. 😭 I hope so badly he gets a break and things turn around for him. Rooting for you Emmanuel 🫶🏼❤️
What a cruel world, and what a powerful person he is surviving the most difficult things. What a great example of human strength, my heart goes out to him.
Wow. There's nothing I can add to note the profundity of this man's terrible experiences in his youth....but opening for the Subhumans and DOA as a 12 year old, dang!! Awesome. And I thought I was cool because I opened for very notable punk/crust/HC bands with my band at the age of 14-15. This is one of your best videos Mark. Endless prayers for Emanuel; there is an end to the suffering we endure at the hands of our fellow man on this plane. This man is an ancient soul.
I've watched a lot of these interviews, but wow this one really stood out. When he chokes up recalling all the traumatic events in his life, and talks about getting in trouble because he fights the cruelty he sees on the streets. Brutal man
Emmanuel was friends with, and played live gigs with Kurt Cobain. While he won't discuss his former famous friends, I'm glad he's still alive and hopefully doing well now. It would be interesting if Emmanuel does decide to discuss his friendship in more detail with Cobain, as he hasn't spoken much about it, but did open up for Nirvana in the late 80s (1988-1989) with his band.
Emanuel, I hope you can consider this video one of the good things that you are contributing to society, in your life. What a good hearted person, I could listen to him for hours if he was up for telling his whole life story. The fact that he is still able to find small bits of humor in things is so inspiring. Thank you, we all hope to hear from you soon.
Hopefully he reads the comments left by those who know him, and realizes he HAS left a good mark on the world! Probably my favorite interview ever on SWU. What an amazing human he is. I wish I could take his pain away. ♥️♥️♥️
You can be an addict and an amazing person, you are Emanuel! Im so sorry what happened to you, but it’s so good you’re talking, so you can heal. You are worthy of this world, your character is true and you’re intelligent❤
I feel every single word this man speaks from the bottom of my core. when he says he’s lost hope in humanity I know exactly what he is talking about.. when you experience such a betrayal from another human like when they take your innocence during child rape it’s so hard to ever trust another person again. if you ever see this you are so special. I hope one day you can recover from this life❤ I love you ❤❤
😢💔 This interview is so heartbreaking. Then I read the comments... this man is loved by so many beyond measure. Many are professing their love for him and care, concern, hope, and peace. I pray he is doing better now 🙏
Nothing breaks my heart more than child abuse. It ruins the lives of wonderful, innocent people. We need a federal death penalty for extreme child abuse.
I wish I could meet this man and give him the best day. My heart literally aches for him. I hope he makes it and let me tell you, he has left something good in this world. I will never forget him and his story and how I fell in love with him instantly. No one deserves his pain.
What a amazing guy. Trauma mixed with physical pain is torture yet he still hasn't lost his humanity. Sending healing energy to you Emanuel. I hope you find peace.
just saw this today. I'm gonna use his screen name even though I know his real name. hey Emanuel, if you read this, we here in Austin love you and want the best for you. people who use drugs aren't bad people; they're hurt people who are trying to cope. you have so much to give; you're so intelligent. if you can get in touch with friends from Houston or Austin, I believe you'll find some help.
Emmanuel, you’ve lived a remarkable life. You deserve rest and care. Please take care of yourself. Even though you might not see it, the world needs you.
Dave reminds me of an innocent, naïve young soul, entering a forest of sin, only to exit the other side as he is today. Dave, you are a beautiful human being and I wish I could understand how and why people do the things they do and why others must suffer the consequences. You seem like an incredibly equitable dude and one that loves his fellow man! Stay righteous brother ✊🏽✌🏽☮️
Emanuel - you are an amazing human being. I wish I could reach out and grab you off the street and help you heal your mind. You remind me so much of my dad, you are the same age. Overcoming your circumstances and getting out of this mess is not easy, and sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know. I believe in you, so many others here believe in you. We want to encourage you to get into recovery because we know you can do it. You are not lost, you have amazing potential, and by the way you talk I can already tell you've left multiple marks on the world. People like you are the reason why people who aren't victims of your circumstances reach out and help. You have made a mark in my life, and I hope that you continue to do the same to others lives. We're rooting for you.
One of my favorite interviews. He is an amazing man for what he has experienced in life. Yet, he wants to leave something good. I think you have, Friend. Best of wishes to you.
I've never left a comment and I've watched all of your interviews Mark, but I found this particular man very moving and disturbing. I think it's because of a combination of his story, his voice and his countenance. He grabbed me, held me and rocked me in a different way. Interesting the effect he had on me. Thank you Mark for what you do. I've always found myself drawn to the darker, under belly part of life. It's more gutsy, raw and real than the illusion we are fed by the mainstream media hype.
Emmanuel, your life story has really tore at my heart strings. You are the flower that bloomed in the darkness. I’m sorry you have had to endure this. I would love to see a follow up video. This interview stands out amongst the others.
Yes, it is ten lives but not all his. In the sequel he will tell about the time he was an astronaut, professional bodybuilder, had his leg bitten off by a great white shark etc.
@@david-pb4bi What this guy has been through is not that unbelievable at all. If anything, your comment just says that you've lived a pretty uneventful life.
Wow only a few minutes in and I see Emanuel as such a wonderful person who wasn't given a chance. You deserve the world. I hope you're able to get the healing you need.
Such a wise and intuitive gentleman. I really hope he's blessed from here on out; and, someone with the means help him get back on his feet. This is my new favourite interview. He's got a lot to offer the world.
I really respect and like this man. I can relate to him on many levels. I would like to be his friend. I've been watching these videos for a couple of years and have never felt so compelled before. I wish I could be put in touch with him somehow. I live in Hawaii on the island of Molokai . If there is anything I could do to make this man's life better I would do it as I can tell that he is a genuine kind generous sensitive and talented person .
I could listen to you all day Emanuel. So articulate & captivating. Wish I could ask you more about the punk scene & your bands. I'm sorry you've had such a rough ride. Stay strong. Much love X
He played in a Band Called Catt Butt and they were signed on the SubPop record label along with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Alice in Chains...they made it big..his band did not.
Intense... I hope he gets help, especially the chance to thoroughly work through his trauma. I wish that for him so much... and that he gets off the streets...
Never in a million years would I think I’d EVER say this but I could see myself being friends w/ this guy. We’d DEFINITELY be an odd pair but he’s so interesting, I could listen to him talk for hours.
Dave is a super cool guy and like Mark said he is a fascinating gentleman. i wish i was wealthy because i would get Dave’s car out of the dang tow yard. He should be able to negotiate with them. sometimes Tow yards are cool when someone screws you over. As an auto adjuster used to negotiate with them all of the time. Blessing Dave for you to recover and get on to your next adventure!!!
the pain that this man has endured is astonishing. I really hope he finds his way and gets the help he needs. please do a follow-up if you can. Emanuel, if you're reading this - your words and experience shared here are your contribution to the world.
I just discovered this interview it's definitely one of my favorites. It restores my faith in humanity to see genuinely good people that still stick to their values despite being tested by life. I hope he'll get himself out of this place on the streets and on drugs
Emanuel. My brother I love you so much. You are an immensely beautiful soul. Shedding some tears and sending you good energy and sacred mantra. Hang in there! We need you here.
More stories from Emanuel, please! This is the next Johnny! Emanuel, thanks you for talking. Your voice is amazing! I send you good vibes. I hope you will tell us more! 🙏
Deserves a new chapter. Excellent inside in a hole in the system, overlooked and mistreated. Very clever. I hope you get well soon and enjoy your next 20 years.
Absolutely excellent. I love this man. You are so good to people doing these interviews. You know you've got a gift / this man was so I think thankful to be able to talk. People trust you. You are the real meaning of a man Mark
This is my favorite interview now. He had me at New York Dolls. Even though I love sandalwood ;) What an awesome dude. I related a lot to his life in the music scene. Sounds very similar to the scene in Minneapolis. I hope Emanuel finds the power and support to get himself clean, especially so he can remember he is worth it and the abuse to him and his family was absolutely not his fault. I hope he can learn to be as kind to himself as he would to any other person with trauma. I hope he got his car back. The impact of living in an atmosphere like Skid Row, surrounded by thousands of people at their absolute lowest seems like about the worst place to try digging your way out of. And especially for maintaining any perspective about what it can be like having a more positive base line. I'd love to see a follow up of Emanual and pray he's kicking ass in a better direction.
Emanuel I can literally feel your pain through this video. I hope you can find a way to shed all that pain. You have so much depth to your personality. You deserved to be protected by the adults in your life. I hope life for you is full of true love and healing.
I hope you find the strength to get sober Emanuel. You are such a smart, well spoken man. I hope you soon come to a point where you won’t allow addiction to take anymore from you. ✌️
Emanuel I can see your shine ✨ it’s a shot show of a world out there please keep that future place close to you , the world needs more people you ! coming from a fellow Aquarian , I know whatever you want to take from that , you spoke to my heart when you spoke of wanting to change the injustice but it’s hard when the world looks so grim please please don’t let it dull your shine you are a beautiful human ❤
This guy seems such a good soul and is clearly very smart and very insightful. He's also cool af looking 🤘 I hope he reads some of the positive comments and gets back some will to keep pushing through. The world needs more good people like him and he's a gem in a pile of s**t! I'm Irish and living and raising a family in the hills of Tuscany Italy and he's reached all the way to here and tugged on me ol' heartstrings! Keep pushing through man💪 I'm hoping the best for you and rooting for your life!
I am just catching up on some of Marks interviews and this beautiful man broke me... I am so sorry what happened to you as a child... No child or adult ever should have to feel this amount of pain. I hope your doing well these days... We all are struggling, but some not only struggle, some have deep wounds. ❤❤❤
God Bless you! I feel like you will find your way out of your situation. You are a survivor and fighter. From one ex-punk rocker to another...there is more out there than sex drugs and rock n roll. More to explore in the world.
I can't stand how much it hurts me when people who've been through something traumatic start feeling emotional and apologize for it. It breaks my heart
I don't know why I can't find the space to leave a comment here, so I'll piggyback. Maybe cause it's a year old??? I understand his soul, though. This man's story will forever be in my mind. Mark, this is the Rebecca that can have a great ending. Another highly intelligent being who has a future.
Maybe it’s the punk talk, I dunno…. But he is such a good storyteller. I was engaged by his life story more than most of the videos on here. Sending good vibes to you sir.
I hope hes doing well now. I feel what he says about every so often where we change careers, something tragic happens, an injury etc. Im 38 and feel like ive lived a million lives already. He seems like such a sweet soul with so many stories he didnt tell here that i would love to hear! You got your future spot if youre still with us my dude! I would love to meet you and hear anything you want to talk about. Stay up ❤❤
Pain medication is air and water. But the brain is making us think that. No truer words, my friend. Obviously heroin and how you described fetty , same thing. I really hope you're ok. Your stories need to be heard
I like this type of mature man telling his story. I use their experience to better understand my own life. Where we differ is the dream of leaving something meaningful from my life. I came to accept that in the greater picture, my little 100 year span life will soon have no meaning. Imagine a 1000 years from now…what could possibly remain from me and my input on this earth.
I resonate with this man on too many life levels. I really really hope with Marks help and donations he can at the very least get his car back, I've been living in mine for about 2 months and it's hard enough as it is so being out in the open on the street and as a chronic pain suffer which is also live with, is just the worst. Atleast in the car there's some kind of shelter.
Mark we need a follow up! He is the one who can do rehab with the reward of sobriety, controlled pain and have a thriving podcast, RUclips and music career. Many of his friends have written in here. First meeting, he’s a wonderful person and has that strong Genx personality ❤
I love him💕 It’s so wrong the way early childhood trauma follows us for the rest of our lives. And yes, suppressed trauma tends to find its way out when the psyche is strong enough to handle it. Often it’s not until we’re in our 50’s. I pray he will find his peace. I just love him! What insights! May he be blessed with self-forgiveness for the things he felt responsible for (which were not his fault). Dear God, 🙏 please take his pain away - he’s had enough!!He matters - more than he knows! And, just this video is leaving a major mark o the world!! Thank you 🙏

This is David's Brother in Texas...he was calling every day and suddenly stopped, we last heard from him on the 15th of October...he became homeless and was living out of his car, it was impounded and we had money to get his car but they needed him to get it, and would only take cash...no credit, debit card, Western Union, wire transfer etc...and with David as he is we couldn't get him to show up to receive cash by Western Union and get to the impound in time before they closed...the car was auctioned so he is totally on the street and we haven't heard a word in over 3 weeks.
Please help keep this tortured, bright, thoughtful, creative, philosophical, observant man alive.
Have you heard from or of him lately? I hope yall have found a way to contact him and I really hope he's doing well❤
He has reappeared on Facebook so he’s alive at least. He goes by David Nobody.
I know this man from the Austin days. He has never been anything but kind and sweet to me. Dave, if you get to read this, know that you have already left your mark in people's hearts. And contrary to your punk name of David Nobody, you are absolutely David Somebody. Much love ♥️♥️♥️
This comment made me cry. You’re a wonderful human ❤
I hope you can track him down!
He seems so sweet. Best of luck to him ❤❤❤
I hope you get a hold of him.
David Duet , this is STIG, let me know you are ok. Mermaid and I love you. We are still here in Tacoma.
AGREED! Emmanuel is my favorite ❤ I want to give him a big hug and hear more of his stories. He is a good person, no doubt.
Every damn video has an idiot like you claiming it’s the best one they’ve seen just shut up already
That is the one thing I'd change about Mr. Laita's project: the interview titles. I get it from a practical standpoint. But Label Theory is a thing. And these people are, and deserve more, than the one-dimensional label in their interview title.

Never be a prisoner to your past! It was a lesson not a life sentence! 🥲
I've always seen you as a fabulously artistic soul- it's good to see you surviving (although heartbreaking that you are in that situation)- I wish the best for you and pray you can find strength and protection to nurture your creative spirit and have peace in your life ❤
please go get him if you’re in LA 😢😢😢i’m gonna ask Patty and Larry if they have any connections to help him. i just saw this today
I know this man. I knew him in Seattle, I knew him in Austin. Dave you have always been a kind soul. I wish you the very best. Truly
God bless xx
Who carea
Crazy, I think I’ve met him here in Seattle too. Maybe he just has that familiar face.
Ryan…we do
I really like and respect this man. I can totally relate on many levels. He is someone I'd like
I would love to see followups of this guy, this was one of the best installments of SWU I’ve seen in quite a while
I knew David briefly in the 90s after he left Seattle and moved back to Houston.
This comment really touched me, thank you for your beautiful words, took the thoughts right out of my head!
My heart breaks for this man. So many addicts come from molestation. I’m so sorry you went thru that. If you see this, I wish you the best…
Very true.
These comments from people who have crossed paths with him and know him are just heartbreaking but also beautiful to see how loved he is.
Looking for This man..Call Home.. from LA..
Bless you, Emanuel.🙏🏽
I hope you find comfort and peace of mind in your senior years..♥️
👆Beautifully put!
His exorcism was not a typical catholic exorcism. No priest??
David, if you see this, come back to Texas, you have a lot of friends here, and I'm sure that you can put everything right. Love you buddy.
What's his band?
I was a huge Curt Cobain fan, thanks for sharing 😢
@@mrlboroughocho786I heard some one mention his band was CatButt? not sure if that's true..
GREAT comment!! 🤜🫀🤛
Hopefully he reads the comments left by those who know him, and realizes he HAS left a good mark on the world! Probably my favorite interview ever on SWU. What an amazing human he is. I wish I could take his pain away. ♥️♥️♥️
This is my favourite interview you've done. I hope his story ends well.
I’d love to talk more with Emanuel. He’s a brutally honest man with great awareness and a great spirit.
I think this is the most moving interview I've seen on this channel. I'd love a follow up. Much love to Emanuel.
just saw this today.
David. You, Lisa, me and Matt had a couple of good years when you first moved to Seattle.
Im so sorry Emanuel, your story is breathtaking. Youre fascinating, inteligent and brave human being.
I love hearing these stories, even though it’s always so heartbreaking 😢
Such a fascinating guy. You have lived 10 lives. What an honor to listen to your life story. Stay safe and come back for a follow up.
Yes, it is ten lives but not all his. In the sequel he will tell about the time he was an astronaut, professional bodybuilder, had his leg bitten off by a great white shark etc.
Nice contribution 🙄@@david-pb4bi
@@david-pb4bi What this guy has been through is not that unbelievable at all. If anything, your comment just says that you've lived a pretty uneventful life.
@@joshua7233 Sure, you have had such an interesting life, perhaps when you eventually leave your parents home possibly, but not now.
@@david-pb4bi My parents are dead.
You can tell he is a kind, deep &genuine soul. He was delt a shittty shitty hand. I hope he finds true peace - he deserves it.
Wow only a few minutes in and I see Emanuel as such a wonderful person who wasn't given a chance. You deserve the world. I hope you're able to get the healing you need.
Awesome guy. Awesome story. Awesome name. 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Such a wise and intuitive gentleman. I really hope he's blessed from here on out; and, someone with the means help him get back on his feet. This is my new favourite interview. He's got a lot to offer the world.
I applaud you for speaking up! Thank you for speaking out and shedding light on this horrific abuse! You are very well spoken, sir!😊🇨🇦
When this man started to cry my heart dropped
I really respect and like this man. I can relate to him on many levels. I would like to be his friend. I've been watching these videos for a couple of years and have never felt so compelled before. I wish I could be put in touch with him somehow. I live in Hawaii on the island of Molokai . If there is anything I could do to make this man's life better I would do it as I can tell that he is a genuine kind generous sensitive and talented person .
What an amazing man. Tragic and fascinating story. Need to write a book! Best of luck Emanuel and hope you gain sobriety xx
So many friends reaching out to him on here shows his goodness and is loved by many has touched many lives in a good way
What a good person. This man deserves love.
Odd pairs make life worth living

Dave is a super cool guy and like Mark said he is a fascinating gentleman. i wish i was wealthy because i would get Dave’s car out of the dang tow yard. He should be able to negotiate with them. sometimes Tow yards are cool when someone screws you over. As an auto adjuster used to negotiate with them all of the time. Blessing Dave for you to recover and get on to your next adventure!!!
I'm from and live in Louisiana and what he's saying is true especially about the Work that was done on him as a child
the pain that this man has endured is astonishing. I really hope he finds his way and gets the help he needs. please do a follow-up if you can.
Emanuel, if you're reading this - your words and experience shared here are your contribution to the world.
He hasn't endured any pain because he's on the strongest painkiller in the world

Love you D.E.D.! The world needs your art and your beautiful heart. Many, many people are trying to find you to help. Let them ❤
I love him! Please keep interviewing him !
More stories from Emanuel, please! This is the next Johnny!
Emanuel, thanks you for talking. Your voice is amazing! I send you good vibes. I hope you will tell us more! 🙏
My heart goes out to him and his family.
Incredible Guy! Hope to see him here again.
This was a very legit interview, very intelligent man, very self aware and capable
i'm so sorry for all the pain you endured - hoping you find some peace and relief.

This guy seems such a good soul and is clearly very smart and very insightful. He's also cool af looking 🤘 I hope he reads some of the positive comments and gets back some will to keep pushing through. The world needs more good people like him and he's a gem in a pile of s**t! I watch these videos to keep my perspective. Thank you for doing this work
I am just catching up on some of Marks interviews and this beautiful man broke me...
What a sweetheart.. wish him nothing but the best
I'm sorry such bad things happened to you, im praying for your healing
You are absolutely NOT to blame!! I pray Gods protection over you!! Thinking about you and praying for you today❤
Pain medication is air and water. But the brain is making us think that. No truer words, my friend.
Obviously heroin and how you described fetty , same thing.
I really hope you're ok. Your stories need to be heard
So sad 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 pray he gets help and can live a healthy good life
I like this type of mature man telling his story.
Thank you 🙏

One of my favorites. Very interesting and articulate man.
I don’t know how you get through these interviews without giving into the intense urge to hug these people or hold their hands… 😢
My ol buddy David.❤️ bonehead says hey brother.
Reach out man. Your seattle family loves ya!
