No disrespect to the old days and what Mr. Friedman has achived with Manowar, but the 'Ross The Boss' band was always the superior experience for me. From 'New Metal Leader' on to the very close 'Born Of Fire', everything is pure gold in my ears. Especially since Mr. Lopes joined the band on vocals it became even more fantastic, due to his unique voice and style of singing. I wonder what 'God Of Dying' or 'Behold The Kingdom' would sound like with Mr. Lopes singing :D
I think Roos the Boss like Metallica and the Megadeth! He belongs to Manowar age and era but is good enough alone! I like it...and know him because of Manowar! :) Great music!

So true. What the hell is Manowar doing? On their latest EP one song is a two minute soundtrack (its ok but I want metal music) and one song is pure shit (You shall die before I die). So two songs left and I pay nearly as much as for this full album Born of Fire. Something went horribly wrong with Manowar. Glad ross still is there, being true, honest and kicking ass.

An excellent song! The lead guitar riff has a hint at Emeral by Thin Lizzy. Although as if the singer can't decide if to sing thrash metal or hard rock, so it's rather in the middle of nowhere... At least to my taste 😆

There is no screamo in metal, it either is clean vocals or growled. And heavy metal has always had clean vocals. Growling is used in black, death, death doom, etc.. extreme forms of metal.
Best song of the album. On this song Lopes dont try to be Eric Adams. And this is his only chance! He has not the voice or the quality of Eric or Mike Cotoia. Overall the new album, 6/10. The music itself 7,5/10.

the vocalist still doesn't convince me for the band's style , this may improve with Eric on vocals. Manowar needs Ross and Ross needs Manowar to hit the sound back again.
You're right about that it's his voice inflection and they say you can't change that sometimes, I got fired from a job years ago b/c of voice inflection.
