I criticize WG for a lot of things, but never their 3D modeling/art department. Their work is fantastic!

Bull Reeves Izumi is not the best but her guns and armor are decent.
I kind of wish they would improve the cannon sound of the Yamato's guns, I mean right now they sound rather underwhelming. Instead of a rather epic and deep boom, it's more like a disappointing thud. And comparing that to the old gun sound of Yamato I like the old one better.

as they are still working on all the sounds . hopefully this will be addressed at some point . but lets be honest . they don't have a gun fire sound of those guns to work off . as far as I know .

I applaud you WarGaming. I dont care what the haters out their say, you put your heart and sole into recreating these ships from nearly nothing and going above and beyond trying to make them as realistic as possible. no other game out there comes close to paying such respect to detail on these ancient metal monsters. keep up the good work.
PS- perhaps I could get a free Yamato so I can fire her guns?
No one hates the art and history departments of Wargaming. These people do fantastic work. What everyone hates is the idiot's that are responsible for CVs, and the just dodge current balance.
My first T10, still one of my most used ships, and forever a favorite. Glad to see you didn't forgot about the old ships.
Was my 1st tier X BB, and I love this ship ever since.
On the road to getting her rn I got Amagi
I really love the attention and effort put in into making the model as accurate as possible, right down to the smallest details. All I can say is that you guys have done a beautiful job in the modelling department for making one of my favourite ships in the game even more awesome!!
I dont play WOW but love History, and I'm really loving these little series on these historical Warships. The Animations are so great. These developers put so much research into War Gaming, to the finest detail. Imo is a great platform to learn while having a great time playing the game.
Same. I play Wat Thunder (Naval) because it's more realistic in many ways but still watch and appreciate their work. Their short documentaries are so well done too.

Btw, isn't WMG were too OP that even could take out a lot of ships? (Unless it was balanced so itu wouldn't be that OP, but still. Also, they've implemented the WMG on Yamato on 2015 April Fools event)

Rework Yamato Can Fire Type 3 Shell In Aircraft
Well, those shells were used. But in reality, they didn't do much against the planes.
According to some reports from the pilots, it was apparently quite easy to survive them.

Not to mention, they where exceedlying inacurate, to the point where the bomber crews that did Yamato in where commenting they wher nothing more then a fireworks desplay...

My favorite ship in the game is the Graf Spee. The artists did such a fantastic job modeling it. Love the Yamato too. Beautiful wooden deck

But I guess the main reason of musashi being an easy target for enemy battleships or CV or etc
Is due to it's citadel damage and the ammunition magazine
I think is 90% of the players having ammunition magazine blowout alot by torps or by an AP shell
And maybe 50 or 60 % of others gets destroyed due to citadel damage
The solution for blocking the possible magazine blowout is to mount magazine modification 1 and juliet Charlie signal
The magazine modification 1 will cover you ship's magazine about 70%
Along with juliet Charlie which covers you magazine too by 100%
So both of the consumables would be 170% which no chance detonating your ship magazine
But for reduced citadel hits it's recommend to aim you ship at the bow I guess
So the enemy might get shell bounce or non penetration or maybe over penetrations

And make the reefs in the game actual a danger to run aside
And just a quick point. I am an army veteran. But my grandfather was a Navy veteran and World War II. And he seen the Yamamoto during that time. And he used to tell me about it the best ship he had ever seen. He has since passed away but when this first came out the ship that is I would show him RUclips videos of the people using it and destroying the other ships and he started crying because luckily he wasn’t on one of the ships that got destroyed. But that’s how military men work. Even though we fight on opposite sides there is great respect for the Navy and their ships.
Good job on reworking her model. I don't have Yamato, but I have Musashi and she's a great ship with cool gun sound too!

Musashi has been added far more recent than Yamato. Her model is already of higher quality.
@@kweeglee Musashi IS ALREADY an updated model that was newly created for the ship a few months ago.
In the patch note for the remodeling, they outright said they used the basis of the current Musashi model for the remodeling of Yamato's model.

I would like to see one more thing in Yamato at combat in the game....aaand in every other BB of Nippon Kaigun. The 3rd type ammo shells. The anti aircraft ammunition for BB main guns used by Japanese Imperial Navy.

Yamato is probably my moast liked Ship. I have 6 Tier X but i love Yamato the most by fare. lately it´s getting hard caus it has not that strong AA but still amazing to play

Good thing about world of warships, they added the old version of IJN Yamato and IJN Musashi.

Ask the Chinese player base... Its not like China forced wg to have the Pan Asian DD Flag to be completely of the Chinese Flag, all because they raged at the sight of Hsienyang baring its rightful nation flag of Taiwan. As a result other ships of the line such as the Korean Chung Mu and Indonesian Gadjah Mada lost their nation flag...
If the Chinese can't even keep their shit together with the Taiwanese T8 Destroyer Hsienyang, then what makes you think they'll let the Japanese Imperial Flag slide? Lets not forget of the Koreans too...
Personally I don't mind it and luckily there are mods for that.

How would I contact developers/modelers directly. I am 3D modeling ships that I think would go nicely into the game.
