Spartan - a lot of people like the Spin the Wheel concept. I know it’s tough to use it on stream due to the snipers. Why not have a day or two each week dedicated to a spin the wheel video? You play alone as you do on most daily videos, but at beginning of video you spin to determine what you play. You then show us the game be it good or bad results. It would let us see you playing many different ships from the norm, and you could talk about the strengths and weaknesses of these ships including any changes you have made since the initial review video of said ship.
A suggestion could be to do a Spin the Wheel once a week on a video.

My learning curve for this game is probably taking longer than normal because i can only play a few days out of the week due to my job but I watch videos like this and try to remember the different methods and techniques to play well and just try to be very conscientious about everything. The setup and positioning is very important and thinking ahead and trying to anticipate. Gradually my matches are getting much better. Yesterday my last match with Yamato i did very well but ultimately my team lost but i had one of my best scores. But between a Schliffen a Shimakaze and another destroyer and the two destroyers each sending a barrage of torpedos from two different directions, it made it rather difficult to win especially since the destroyers were nowhere to be seen. But overall I was doing pretty well. I do not have Arthus(?). They need to offer him again for those that missed out or weren't around the first time. Thank you for the educational videos.

I put full accuracy on my Yamato and I will never get more than 1 citadel at more than 4km
My main problem is I get focused so much at any tier in any ship
Don't rush or push so hard. Sometimes the RIGHT play is to hang back until the match matures. Work on crossfire, flank. Always flank. If you spawn center, pick a side and flank, then shoot clear across the map to hit broadsides and create crossfire. You've got 15 minutes, the worst thing to do sometimes is rush to cap bases in the first 2 mins. Let the enemy push, that way THEY are overextended and you're in good position to clean up and retake the cap, etc etc.
I went from a 43% winrate to a 57% winrate by just slowing down
@@Lord_Pistachio_Nut always do but when the battleships not shooting or helping out. Cruisers not spotting just sits behind islands. And destroyers not spotting or move toward center. I do my own spotting cause I have to and since nobody is getting spotted just me so I get focused. Sure I could sit back do nothing but not my style. I'm also a firm believer in what Tim Allen once said "never give up, never surrender". That's how I play

Sparty in the Yamarty... pretty deadly combination. Yeah its the old story, people think its some sort of invincible super ship and charge in, guns blazing, don't know about the cheek armour weak spot.... its a "reputation" ship in that it's reputation in the real world, isn't reflected in game performance. It's good if played well... which applies to most ships in the game. Great video thanks for sharing.
Every ship is good if you know how to use it. I remember a game I have long ago in the Yamato, two brothers and I almost get a Kraken... but the funny thing was I barely moved from my spawn point in the middle
I'm sorry, have you even played Danae or Shiratsuyu? Those things are heaping piles of shit on their best days. Shiratsuyu was one of the very rare ships where I only had to play two matches in it to decide unequivocally that I wasn't even going to debate if it was worth it to just use GXP to get to the next ship. 200,000 GXP well spent to avoid that fucking torture.

Well, Spartan, nice new intros (with all the music and ship spins) you have, indeed. But I'd still prefer to see the ship and captain configuration, which you only mention ;-)
Spartan has those too. There's at LEAST two videos per ship that have a full build explanation before gameplay. "Path to" and "Meet The" videos. The path to videos go through entire tech lines and meet the videos for all premium ships AND tech tree ships.
@@Lord_Pistachio_Nut yeah, I'm aware of these videos. But these are older and the info there may be out of date. We're all learning and I'd bet Spartan might do something different now. Also, there are new captains available now and the ships' capabilities were changed....

One thing that veterans might not realize in this game is that us noobs do not have access to a lot of these premium commanders and my own commanders aren't even close to maxed out. I have one Norman Scott maxed out and my next best are at level 12 and only a couple of those

Going into legendary tier with not mixed out commanders is definitely a quick way to lose silver
Yea I'm talking about the main player base spartan and WG for that matter. But I guess you gotta start somewhere. If you're one of the vets and had to deal with this game and all the potatos for 4+ years I guess you deserve to have the best stuff lol at the very least. Do they ever re-release commanders? Not that I have the resources to upgrade 😂🤣😂🤣

I just got the Yamato and in one of my first 5 games with it I had 120’000 DMG that’s a new record

Since the new update I see so many battle ships just sitting in the back of the map or behind islands not shooting and asking for data and when u spot someone they don’t shot. And it’s been very irritating to say the least.
Spartan don't forget if you have new Jersey that will be even MORE damage
I do have Arthus but i used to be an Arthus Worshipper and run Arthus on every US Battleship (Including Georgia) and Yamato but decided to go back to Accuracy with Sims which is just as good as problem with Arthus is, you can lose some accuracy. I use AL Colorado on some US Battleships but not all of them. I may use Arthus on Yammy again to give it it's own identity from the Ohio but i like my accuracy on the Ohio so i'd never use Arthus on it.
Yama can be a hit a miss but when it hits it’s so rewarding
I totally despise plyers who play with the borders, usually kites who get cornered .. hate them all :(
I run accuracy range and concealment. 19.3k range .
Yama is always good ship. She well balance legendary ship tier. I'm still play and enjoy Yama despite I had several others legendary tier ships. Only player skill issue or internet connectivity can ruin her😁
Honestly I'd say it’s difficult to perform well with a ship you just got even during training

Hey Spartan I've just got Yama, what 1st and 4th slot mods do you recommend? Also I don't have Arthus so I run AL New Jersey and Scharnhorst as inspirations on Takagi, should I switch Scharnhorst for Ciliax or Paolo di Revel? Or keep Scharny?

Yamato is the best battleship in the entire game.
But she is difficult to master.
And even then you always can bow tank and overmatch with AP damage.

Arthas The Cold is a Premium Commander in WoWsLegends that has a base trait that gives you a 20% boost to damage while your Catapult Fighter is Airborne

Yamato has never been a bad ship and probably never will be unless they bring in her big sister Shikishima. 20in Yamato will bring tragedy and woe to the game lol But I think the reason why people feel Yamato is bad is 1) They think her size and guns make her invincible and get shocked when she get yeeted to hell and back by "inferior" ships. 2) The Yamato likes to troll. At least it trolls me ALOT. I swear I cannot get any good damage out of her. She overpens the shit out of broadside targets and gives 0 citadels and when ships are bow in it's like she turns into a shotgun even though I run full dispersion. I can't take advantage of overmatching a bow if my shells make a v formation and perfectly split the bow I'm trying to overmatch lol
So the Yamato is a great ship. But if anyone else's experiences with her are anything like mine then she can FEEL like a terrible ship that isn't worth the hype cause you either get shit dispersion or you get overpens for days. I somehow have never had a Yamato game where I scored over 120K which to this day boggles my mind. And given how many Yamatos I've smacked I imagine there are people who may have never broken 100K in her
EVERY Japanese BB is a troll lol! That whole line is a tale of two ships 😂 sometimes I love them, sometimes I love to hate them lol.
The game's conclusion for our dearly beloved Spartan, is an example of why I use propulsion mod over steering gears.
I came to the conclusion over a year and a half ago that speed in a BB is best...and so is acceleration because BB's are just big and clumsy, ya can't turn a Ford F-350 into a Ferrari F8 Tributo or a Porsche 911 991 GT 3 Touring (regarding handling) so I found out that it's best simply to move the hell out of the way as fast as ya can forwards or backwards...like a 1969 Dodge Super Bee with that six barrel carburetor....😜
...or a Don Prudhomme funny car from 1975...but i digress.
For those who don't watch Jay Leno's Garage, allow me to put it this way...
Ya can't turn a defensive/offensive lineman into Daredevil, that's a fool's errand, but that offensive lineman CAN run like the Flash with the reasonable agility of the Batman.

about schilifen being a guaranteed kill broadside at close range, didn't work because he is 100% flat and turtleback catch all the shells, its easy if are a Montana or Ohio something with improve pen angles to plunge fire the turtleback , but yama vs schilifen most times its just overpen

Whats messed up is my first game ever in this ship was literally my highest dps game with a kraken and ive played maybe 2-3 games at legendary. First game was with the montana. Not complaining this ships a cheat code if your smart with it. That being said you need to know how to use it or your wasting your timeZ

Yes I use Catapult fighter because Arthas as Inspiration gives a bonus 20% damage if Catapult fighter is active
lol, I wouldn't say busted. What I like about Yamato, at least what the ship is supposed to be, is you have these massive guns, biggest in the game that overmach almost everything, even other Yamatos, but you also have a massive citadel that if you don't protect by angling property you get yeeted right out of the ocean. She's a battering ram, not subtle or finesse, just a brute monster.

Tell me why every time I've played with A Yamamoto whether it be on my team or the enemy team they just back up at the start of the match sitting in the back for the first 10 minutes wait for the entire team to do all the work and then move in to steal kills from their teammates that did all the work? I hate Yamamoto players they're literally in one of the three strongest ships in the game and yet they play like their in a cruiser that gets Dev struck with one shot.

It is but it isn't. I think the only real busted ships are dd still. Shima yes got a nerf but 5.0 is still to low. 5.5km detection is should be the mowest for any dd in my opinion.

I've felt since day 1 of yamato being in legends that she needs to have higher spotting range and longer reload times to compensate for its overmatching capabilities

Look Spartan, that’s what I want to tell. This game getting worse and worse with every single build. Just see, you got lucky 3 salvos to some potatoes but, when you open fire to broad side duck, you actually do nothing. How?! How the hell it is possible?! And it’s not only Yama, all the ships like that. The RNG it’s a one big issue. Most of the ships are not playable, when the last time we got ships like Massachusetts? Like Jean Bart? When I started playing this game it was much interesting and accurate. I was waiting every campaign but now I’m not expecting anything crazy. I’ll be drop this game but I’m just sorry about all my money and energy that I putting into this game.
