@@primalempresstv your parents screwed up. It's ok to say so. That's why I madea Patreon, so we can talk about it so we can connect in a way that has more privacy so that we can talk to each other in a way that's more open and I wanted to spend more connected time with you
@@primalempresstv I don't care what the"age limit for Patreon" he encouraged children to speak to him in private off public forum and encouraged children to "go no contact" what right does he have to Uber himself into families? He himself said he had no children and didn't want any. So different need to be speaking to them in private
So you're basically saying that people's core responses to what signals danger can be wrong by default? That recognition of disturbing behaviours, or behaviours that can trigger a protective reflex in adults and parents is wrong because of bias? Sorry, don't mean disrespect, but if you look up Grooming behaviour, so much of what Jeffrey does, checks every box. There's so much to unpack with this video and response, so bare with me. There is also many in LGBTQ+ that don't support Jeffrey as well so let's not ignore their concerns because we have come to a place where questioning a person isn't allowed based on their sexual identity. What's wrong with the "woke ideology" is that you want the rest of the population to ignore their natural responses and look past our instincts that alarm us to threats based on sexuality. Not just instincts, but learned knowledge of a threat. Where it comes to children, this instinct is even more sensitive to these types of triggers to a threat. Now, yes it simple to write anyone off who doesn't 100% follow the idea that every person in the LGTBQ community is completely innocent, as "trans phobic". While ignoring the fact that predators are in every walk of life, including LGBTQ. Now, "grooming" can mean to manipulate a child into doing something, not just physical. So this can be used to manipulate children into thinking or being confused about gender when they may not be. Also, leading children into feeling they have parents that they can not trust can stop children from talking to their parents about issues that should be between a parent and child, not child amd a stranger on RUclips. I personally have seen my friends daughter come home from school crying and upset about her sexual identity at 13. She was convinced she was pan, because every 13 year old is confused and emotional, and packed her bags and was ready to leave the safety of her home because someone convinced her she wouldn't be accepted by her family because of her realization. Which wasn't close to the truth. Guess what she's heterosexual, her parents understood her then and still do now and it was because of outside interference that had this child a complete wreck. How about we stop putting so much pressure on kids, period, and leave personal matters to be addressed by parents instead of strangers reaching out to kids with an agenda. :/ Please, look up "Grooming tactics" and see the correlation.
And I should just let this be known, I don't have any reason to believe Jeffrey has intentions to harm children. I honestly think he feels what he's doing is right and needed. But truth be known, there's a reason why it takes years of education in Child and Adolescence Mental Health to be allowed to council children. They are highly susceptible to ideologies as they don't have fully formed frontal lobes that allow for impulse control, forethought and control of risk taking behviours, and without these youth can make horrible choices if encouraged inappropriately. I do side on the side of caution with children as there is too many cases of de- transitioning youth.
I think a lot of the reaction to Jeffrey March is a much wider issue than Jeffrey Marsh themselves. The world has changed very quickly with the rise of the internet and social media but parenting hasn’t caught up. Most parents I work with have no idea that they are supposed to supervise children on the internet or that all social media accounts can be shared so parents have a lot more control now than they think (10 years ago there weren’t these facilities). The conversations that parents have to be prepared for now are also very different. Literally in my prepare for baby workshops I mention things like internet safety and make them aware that kids are now discussing sexuality, gender etc so they need to be ready for those conversations sooner rather than later. I can totally see how on the surface Jeffrey Marsh gives off red flags, but if you go and look at their content in detail & their patreon they are not doing anything that Abraham Hicks, Teal Swan or any law of attraction or life coach is doing. Personally I don’t think anyone without the accredited qualifications should be allowed to give advice like that but sadly that’s not how the internet works. And no one is going after the very very many other people who are doing & saying exactly what Jeffrey is doing which points back to the fear of someone different. It all really comes down to parenting issues and that then becomes tricky because as we know not everyone who is a parents should be a parent. I also know there is not enough support and help for the parents who want to be good parents (I’m trying but I’m only one person and no matter how much I tell the government parents need more help they don’t listen!!)
@@primalempresstv, so your implication here is that parents need to be better informed and on guard to children social media use and on the other hand you're gaslighting parents by telling them their reactions are based on bias and unnecessary? Yes, parents need to monitor their children's media usage and be aware of the dangers of allowing the world, and its ills, into their and their children lives. We live in an era where a stranger can have access to your home and children 24/7. There are countless cases of predators gaining access and taking advantage of children through digital means. As well there are countless chat rooms and even gaming platforms that adults can use to gain access to youth unfortunately. But now, as there is a large group, LGTBQ+ included, that are questioning a content creator you, and people like minded, are telling these parents they are wrong for standing up and taking notice? That they are misdirecting their attention based on the fact that this person lives an alternative lifestyle than they themselves live? Yes, I do understand that the LGTBQ community has gone through a lot and have a hard time being accepted by many, but its not everyone in the LGTBQ community that's being criticized. There are legitimate reasons people are upset and I think it has little to do with how Jeffrey presents themselves. There's plenty of content creators that have similarities, * Jegaysus (I may be wrong on spelling) comes to mind and just about every 80's Rockstar as well. Cross dressing isn't new, non of this is. What's gotten people upset is the focus on children and the issue that we are being told "we're wrong because of bias" when there are clear issues that we are seeing but supports of the extreme LGTBQ sided wants us to ignore because of their own assumptions about what they want to believe. There are blatant issues yet we are being told "there's nothing to see here" and to even question some topics, we are told "you're trans phobic" when there are subjects that need to be discussed or examined.
@@paulinekedro7327 I’m not gaslighting anyone, I’m genuinely trying to dissect the situation because it is clearly targeted. Every single point that is being raised about Jeffrey Marsh is true of thousands of other creators on the internet yet none of them are receiving the same level of hate. Patreon is an 18+ platform and children should be monitored at all times on the internet. Patreon is paywalled and parents should have full control over their children’s spending on the internet. So many of the issues being raised are parenting issues and sadly there is not enough support or education for parents but the internet is not something new. All social media now gives full control to parents but they have to be proactive rather than reactive. As a qualified psychologist I don’t agree with someone with no qualifications giving ‘advice’ on the internet so I completely agree with that criticism of Jeffrey Marsh but you don’t see Abraham Hicks or any of the other thousands of internet ‘coaches’ getting the same criticism for doing exactly the same thing. Instead of directing all of this at Jeffrey Marsh who is probably profiting from the drama & controversy it would be better for parents to be proactive about internet safety and petition for even greater levels of parental control and safety for children online. It seems however people would rather be arguing online instead and unfortunately little will progress that way.
@@primalempresstv I agree that much of the backlash Jeffrey gets is part in his persona online, I concure that if he presented in a way that allowed parents to be part of the conversation he probably wouldn't receive the push back that he does. To say it's about his sexual identity, I believe is far fetched, but one can make the argument that it would be disconcerting for a parent to trust this particular individual based on how they present themselves, but not just in looks but their manner in which they want to be connected to children online in a personal manner. Sorry, but if a teacher was asking students to join them in private conversations online there would be cause for concern as well. Now I believe the reason people are in an uproar about Jeffrey is the fact that there are so many issues not being addressed and those within the LGTBQ community pushing their ideas onto vulnerable children and Jeffrey taking front stage and centre in that conversation, paints him as "the issue". Now I would love to know these other accounts that target children as with the awareness that's come about over children safety, this would be a great time to have other accounts examined for threats to youth as well. By all means I think online predators are most insidious as they gain access to children through an unsupervised backdoor, so to say. Yes, parents need to take control and monitor children's media usage and have real talks about what kids view. Unfortunately there is also a responsibility of those that can ban accounts as well. I mean if they can take accounts down for "misinformation" how is it that the targeting of children is being allowed? I mean, multiple doctors in the states were takin down for the whole "vid" stuff yet, parents are screaming about what they see as a predator and nothing......
