Nice video. Is this a PON connection? Youre not going into a normal connectorized block. This seems different from your normal work, so Im assuming its slightly different
Good question. I believe it is.
Correction it is not. It’s PTP
Dumb question, are you worried about hitting other drops or even the feed when you use that trencher? I guess they would be in conduit too?? Are locates done for other utilities?
@@derekwilson6396 locates and 1calls are done. I can see the depth of the conduits in the tub. Any other utility in the area would have been placed sub 2’ likely deeper with a directional drill or excavator.
Yes it’s always a risk but that’s why patience and experience is key for these types of job.
Not something you want to blindly rush.
@@FyBurz makes sense
Awesome video
Thank you! Much appreciated 🙏🏼
was not expecting that kind of conduit cap
@@KarlBasinillo at the top of the riser ? I would of liked a mast head but wasn’t in the budget 😅
@@FyBurz if it works, it works
These bucket truck and trencher provided by the company you work with?
Yes and no. I work with different companies.
I usually take off the 2 side bolts off and disassemble the brackets. Then screw the bolts into the poles. While u have it off tighten down the cross bar and then put the bracket back on
Yeah I noticed that option. I didn’t have the right socket on me so I decided not to mess around. I still think it’s a stupid design
Normally for drops like this. Ill put mule tape so i know my distance. Pull that plus 20 feet and then hang it and bring the reel down
@@FyBurz hahaha u and me both
@bajaoverland9286 wdym bring the reel down? You send the slack down the conduit then move the reel pole to pole ?
@@FyBurz yea attach the jhook at 1st pole since im there already feed it down the conduit and bring the spool 🧵 pole to pole and all the way to the customer. Honestly same result. I just got something wrong with me. I dont like working on conduit and then having to hang the drop and go back to conduit at the end.
Nice video, thank you. What a job, huh!
And the videos in Spanish didn't make anymore?
Yes, soon 😅
at 32:58 video, you SHOULD cut bottom bracket so it will not cut a leg of running people at night, IAM NOT HAPPY WITH THAT
@@a.g8517 man that sucks for you 😬
😂😂😂
He could have cut one bracket into three shorter parts and it would have looked a lot nicer.
True. It didn’t even cross my mind at the time. I don’t install these often. It does stick out at the bottom but there’s a big box on the left of the pole that you would also run into 😅
Dude next time use a washer ...come on man!
@@v1antbo I did at the bottom 😁 didn’t have anymore on me. I was told all the hardware I needed was there 🥲
Working for a new provider i see, man those pole standoffs were so unnecessary.
That electric utility requires standoffs for all conduits at riser poles (see Fortis doc# 1669) The aluminum T-slot extrusion comes 24" long but I'm pretty sure you can cut it shorter if you're only running a single conduit.
Nice to see some CBBC work...
Unnecessary but mandatory 🥲
I loved your box of dirt
Me too 😅
30:13 AYO?????????????????????
Hahah first one to comment on that 😂
@@FyBurz i wasnt letting that slip by 😁
@@duderino743 neither was I😂
how expensive is this assembly
@@udohonecker8975 which part?😅
I meant how much does the entire construction project you have put together cost?
Is that $2,000 or $3,000?...
In Germany it's free
@@udohonecker8975 ah I don’t really discuss prices here. I do in our discord
stellar work man!
Thank you sir! 🙏🏼
Using a trencher where you knownlines are had me a bit tense. Glad it worked.
@@kc0eks what do you mean?
le falto decirle boludo nomas para que cuide la calle que nadie cruce jajajajja
Nah. No me podia escuchar sobre el camión.
Why are you not using the strand to hang to the drop?
Only have permission to use the poles not the strand. Different providers
