Looks so good. It reminds me of the way we cook down here Cajun style,,,lol we never measure our ingredients plus we put everything in our dishes. Yes cook and hike I say I am sure the people really enjoy watching.✌
Yes pork. Feijoada is a pork and black bean stew. You can use any combination of pork. I used pork chops, smoked sausage (linguica preferred) and bacon. Sometimes I use ham or ribs too. It’s entirely up to you what you want. But traditionally it’s different pork meats.
Okay I’m just going say it😢 Fortune you know I’m pulling for you to get back out here with us. but it’s been really hot in Connecticut and after 127 days my brain keeps telling me I’m done today especially after hiking only 8 miles today and feeling like a complete failure because it took me literally all day to get here anyway after finally making it to this campsite I set up my tent and started boiling some water for my knorr pasta noodles because it’s what’s for dinner tonight 🤷♀️all while trying to catch up on everything that I’ve missed for the last 3 days and I came across your video and now my stomach wants feijoada and not this pasta so maybe what I’m saying is have you ever considered offering some trail magic to your fellow hikers because you obviously can cook you know maybe give a little motivation to us slackers
@@Fortuneadventuresgreat! I was wondering if it was pork too….and whether the black beans were dried beans or canned. So listing ingredients would be great. Looks so yummy.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Best of luck with feeling good enough to get back on trail😎

Just add it with this channel so it’s a variety on cause we gonna watch you anyways. Instead of in the bag it’s in the skillet.
