That slide at 2:28 was badass, looks like it even closed the gap a bit

Awesome driving! Good to see you're battling Luke. Hopefully you get that roll bar and compete next year!

Awesome video, I own both RX8 & NC and it's so cool to these 2 head to head. I would say the RX8s handling and additional power is superior, but the reliability and maintenance are a bit extreme on the rx8

I'd like to try one on track. Longer wheel base should make it more stable. Such a unique engine too.

@NoGoKart it is a lot more confidence inspiring, the longer wheel base is a lot more stable, the miata is a bit more go cart like and definitely easier to spin out if you don't have enough experience

Depends in which country you live in. I'm in England and there are a fair few rotary specialists across the country (I've dealt with 5 of them). There are a few specialists in the US (I've dealt with 2 of them). And as far as I know, one in Germany (also dealth with them).

@@ThatGermanFella Banzai Racing, Pettit Racing and Black Halo Racing are all based in the US. They offer Rotary Engine rebuild services and manufacture and sell performance parts. Mazmart and Mazdatrix sell Mazda parts including parts for Rx7 and RX8. They're based in the US, too. I'm sure they are plenty of other ones.

Awesome video, that was the last day that rotary ran. It was low on power for a while and the rear rotor failed. K swap on the way!

@@CrimsonEclipse5 true, sad to see a rotary go though. I'd almost be tempted to buy it and try to save it but I can't afford the time to do it.
