Good to see you already seen what I was seeing on forums about them being the same sizes. Glad you addressed that controversy. I guess you can ignore everything I said in the other video today lol I wasnt sure if you were aware of that controversy.. kinda sucks that no one's been able to find fruitful evidence of a real difference between the two. The weight comparison was a good one though. Would be interesting to see a measurement of the two center diameters bcuz it's hard to tell a difference on video
Nice video as always. The hub cam out very easily compared to the ones I have removed. Something I noticed is the new hub appeared smaller than the old one. On my screen, the old one was 14cm wide at the top of the metal and the new one was 12.4cm? What gives?
I had an issue with the Timkin hubs, the abs sensor didn't line up correctly. The older models used to have the Mazda stamping on the back of the hub, the new ones don't. I ended up purchasing the Moog branded hubs and didn't have any issues with the sensor.
when buying it from the website in the description, does it come with 2 or do i need to buy 2? and also, does this include the wheel bearing? i'm going to try doing this myself, thank you for the walk through :)
I kept getting told nightmares of doing this and destroying hubs, so haven’t wanted to attempt it. My heat shields for the brakes are made of cheese so I have to remove hubs regardless.
Great demonstration video. Nice to see someone still using old-school wrenches!
Thank you!
awesome walk through of the install, cant wait to do this project myself
A few good whacks with a heavy sledgehammer does the trick too if you are tight on money or can’t source one

Very good presentation! Thx
Appreciate it!
Great video. Thanks Mitchel!

Nice video and very interesting. I do ask myself though why people think that having background music is a good thing. It is NOT ;-)!
I don’t want people to hear my heavy breathing 😭

Had the same issue and lack of stamp but managed somehow to make it work. Wondered if it was just a one off but I guess not !
@@cyrilemme4778 Same here. The mounting bolt was off by a fraction of a millimeter but it was close enough that I made it work.
Hey Mitch, where did you get the vented disc back plates from, I couldn't see a video on it.

You’ll need to buy 2 of everything unless listed differently. Normally these parts are sold separately

I needed to get thr rx8 abs sensors to get things 100% again
does this work for na1?
No it does not. NC is a larger hub and a different bolt pattern at 5x144. NA and NB is 4x100
I didn't know that a NC1 had 5 lug hubs and rotors?
All NCs have 5 lugs. NDs is when they went back to 4 lug.
Yeah it's really annoying because you can't use the same wheels as other models. It's because the NC was heavier
