It's very unfortunate that we won't see cars like the little Suzuki again. It was typical of the high revving small twin cam 4s that started in the relatively modern era at least with the original Swift GTI back in 1986, a couple of Corolla twin cams, Honda CRX, etc. No maker could make such a car today and meet the emission regulations.

Many years ago in south France I was driving with a bunch of friends (all Miata), some were lightly modded, mine was completely stock. At one point we catch up a GT3, and we were really pushing him in the turns. Of course every straight line he would fly away but always got catched again in the turns by our gang. After 15min or so the Porsche stopped and we did too. He guy came to us and was asking how many HP we had, he would no believe it. A couple years later we saw the same guy with a Miata, he said he still loves his Porsche but was having more fun with the Miata :)

Amazing driving there! I daily the same car ZC33S and I can't believe what its capable of doing on the track. You'd think high horsepower cars is the way to go fast but its the complete opposite for something that weights under 1000kg when you tackle the corners. The amount of mods and tunes you can put into them as well is great. Suzuki Swift Sport.... what a car.

Fixing this issue on my NC1 now. Just needed to see what the wires look like without the jacket. Trying not to cut one while removing jacket. Thanks

I love both S2k and Miata but for the ease of maintenance and lower cost, I would take the NC miata with 2.5 swap.

Nothing worse than people who they're they're faster because they have a more powerful car, holding up quicker drivers.

At track day level it's more about the driver than the car (up to a point of course)

What are you running for pads? When I had my 2013 PRHT Club I did an upgrade to EBC Blue stuff and never had any brake fade issues on the stock calipers.

I would love to see a 500HP 2500lbs Singer 911 go up against a 500HP (turbo'd with a fully built 2.5) NC MX5 2500lbs so we can see if 50/50 or 911 rear engine is better on the track.....
