    Nice run. Frustrating when the high HP cars leave you on the straight but slow you down through the technical sections!

      Thanks. Yes if they never let you pass or get in between a good battle but usually its more entertaining for me.

    Fantastic driving, I loved it. I have lightened my NC2 as well, but I have yet to track it. Mad props to your driving skill sir.

    I drive a gun metal grey 2014 MX 5 NC. A ten second car. It came out of the box race ready with Le Mans paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Every time I drive it I'm in a James Bond movie. When people see it they ask, 'does it have machine guns behind the fog lights?' The license plate reads 009. It's definitely licensed to kill. Does a 'Tokyo drift' nicely.

    I bet that’s a pretty fun little car to take onto the track

      No power but it makes up for it in the corners

    At track day level it's more about the driver than the car (up to a point of course)

    The Miata is not a fast car, it's a quick car.

    A cop pulled me over in My MX 5. He said, I clocked you at 92 but by the time I could hit the button you were at 82. Ya they're quick going up and quick going down. It goes from 70 to 90 in two seconds.

    BBR 200 kit gives this car + 40-50hp. Once NC goes to abt 200 hp it start to becoming quite fast. Like low 6 sec. Still not powerhouse but takes is to hot hatch power territory.

      For sure. I've seen a few NA 2.5 builds that make around 250 whp. I think that would be perfect. Maybe even a 2.3 with 2.5 head to have it rev higher.

    • @veselingramatikov
      @veselingramatikov Год назад

      @@nogokart proper 200 whp is quite enough for this car + tires, suspension. After this is another category build.

    Is it completely stock or does it have some upgrades

    • @nogokart
      @nogokart  2 года назад +2

      At the time:
      OBX midpipe - Lighter, no real horsepower gain.
      245 RS4's on RPF1's
      Coilovers and swaybars
      RX8 Brakes - Much heavier than stock
      That's about it.

    Nice driving skills, I ve got an nc1, love it but it lack a bit of power, I think 200hp would have been perfect

      Thanks. Nice, 2.5 with some bolt-ons and a tune can get you around 200whp.

      @@nogokart nice I have yonaka coilovers and exhaust on my nc1, rx7 swaybars, ultra racing strut bars, fast fc ev02 17s w falken tire, and a intake.. wondering if can really keep up with those 911s in the corners if they were pushing it? :)

    • @nogokart
      @nogokart  Год назад +1

      @@radekw708 Nice, similar modifications then. There's one guy I've seen at the track that really pushes a 991.2 911 turbo. In braking and corner entry its about even and then he plants the rear it's not even close on corner exit and the straight 😅

    • @radekw708
      @radekw708 Год назад +1

      @@nogokart Impressive! I have a 996 C2 as well but don't think I would track that. Lots of people I know have 911s and they always rip on the miata how its not a sports car and how it wouldn't even be close even in corners with any 911. Good to see you proving them wrong!
