- Open car lapping day at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario.
This was my first time ever driving on track using my daily driver, was an awesome time. fastest timed lap 1:38.24.
Car used: 1998 Toyota Camry
car mods:
-H&R sport springs
-Cosmo racing intake
- K&N filter
-resonator delete with stock exhaust
-Nakang NS-2 tires 215 40r18
-RTX Euro rims 18x7.5
-whiteline BTR39 rear sway bar
camera:
-GoPro hero 7 Black
-GoPro suction cup mount
Caught up to an S2K in a Camry. Good stuff.

You can drive any car, as long as you don’t have loose parts or leaking oil.....just pay your $100 or so

Hey,
The process is pretty straight forward and doesn’t require too much. Firstly you would look on Toronto Motorsport park website to see when they are hosting a open lapping event, can buy ticket online or at the track itself. Then you show up and have a good time. Vehicle wise I think you can bring any type (road worthy that is ie. not rusted out wheels falling of etc.). The safety Marshall there on the day of will give you a run down of the rules and layout of the track, and that’s about it.

No, during open car lapping you can do as many Laps as you want. I only did few to get the feel of the track seeing as I had never been on track before. It is well worth the $100 if you have the opportunity you should try it for sure👍 thanks for watching!

No passing rules? scary
Passing is certainly allowed, they’re are 4 designated passing straights on track. I personally wasn’t looking to pass begin as it was my first time on track. Thanks for watching👍

Now I believe the price is $120 cad for open lapping , at the time of filming it was $100 cad.
