And with bare trees, there's so much more to see. Rail journeys in summer are becoming more and more like going through tunnels of birch and alder.
Absolutely spot on m8,whilst the sprinter units of today are much more comfortable nothing beats the sound of a class 37 pulling a rake of coaches and being able to stick your head out the window breathing in the crisp clear Highland air. Lost count of the number of times the guard told me off for that.
Hard to believe you found a high-definition video camera that has no audio capability. Really? Nobody is doing this on RUclips. Environmental sounds are vital.

Love the West Highland Line, did it back in 1990 on a 37/4, better than a unit!

Hello, we can't record audio footage in the drivers cabin for safety purposes as they communicate frequently along the route.

I'm afraid we can't do this Philip, we don't record sound in the drivers booth to ensure nothing distracts the driver. ^Ste
