Interesting video ScotRail. What about the Glasgow South Western Line from Glasgow Central to Stranraer, Kilmarnock, East Kilbride, Ayr, Prestwick and Dumfries.
Rail companies tend to be concerned that videos like this might be used for route learning purposes by some of their drivers, and that they might convey some inaccurate information. Therefore videos like this are not allowed to be made without the sound being turned off.
That's not the case, John. It's for privacy reasons, and the risk of distraction to the driver knowing that their voice is being recorded. We've actually recorded several videos like this to assist drivers with familiarising themselves with various routes. ^Angus
13:35.... deadman's???? P.S.... retired driver.... 2 years retired after 40 years service.... not really missing the job, as every day is a holiday... Nice videos... shame about there being no sound...
Great video I do love watching trains Thanks for posting
Great video. Puzzled as to why the train came to a stop at 13:35 just after passing a green signal EC758R.
Evening Gerry, we can clarify that one for you. The driver got a call from the signaller and had to stop to answer it.
Leaving Glenrothes is quite something!
Having been there I can quite agree with you.

@@ScotRail and it's not like the videos you can buy from Video 125 where as well the drivers view your getting the history of the route as well
Love the ppl going "no sound" like we or Scotrail can't tell 🙄 who cares? It's the view that counts 👌
GREAT VIDEO
Cool video though could have done with at least some library ( stock ) music instead of being quiet
There's a problem with the framerate probably to do with RUclips compression. Maybe Scotrail could consider re-uploading this.
nice video dear
SUPRISED SCOTRAIL HAVEN'T MUTED THE ADVERTS!

Hi there, the signaller rang the driver - they stopped to answer the call. ^Angus

such a video without sound is waste of time ... sorry, but I can't recommend that. Thumbs down. Sad greetings from Königstein im Taunus, Germany

Wäre vielleicht eine Aufzeichnung mit Windgeräusch eine Lösung?
Alas, no sound.
