I believe the AU itself has some problems just like the original Dusttale, but FINALLY we got a game focused on other character that isnt a skeleton
I agree but the story is honestly worse than the original. I liked the story honestly, until the part where toriel was introduced

@@swapswappy true because Chara doesn't like doing genocide more than once whilst flowey has shown he likes killing multiple times, in the omega flowey fight at the end where he kills and brings you back he does that about 18 times before monologing and the souls themselves had to stop him so yeah it would've made alot more sense for flowey to be the murderer.
I like to think of this as a Dusttale reboot, seeing as it changes the narrative, story elements, and plot points as a whole. However, there are quite a few plot holes to mention. Like how Toriel doesn't remember most monsters from the True Pacifist run that concluded just a few moments ago? And doesn't killing humans seem out of character for Toriel?
She attacked just frisk and it would make sense because of the insane hatred she would feel from frisk both killing asgore and some monsters
Other humans makes no sense
Maybe by what they said in the intro they meant a Reset? Flowey remembers stuff between Resets and Loads so it wouldn’t be too bad. Afterwards Frisk probably tried another true pacifist and just screwed it up, which is why Toriel is alive here.
The first person to reply is right combined with the fact that when you gain lv you lose yourself and you start to feel no remorse
@@danielgonzalez-vm5lj in a literal war with the humans because of a human you trusted betrayed you, i think you would need to kill the humans and want to kill the person who betrayed you. And even in the first war she must have had to kill even if she didn't want to.

Imagine a fangame where a random froggit just so happens to always remember every run and eventually goes on some kind of growth arc to power up and defeat the terrible human. I think that'd be fun.

Great, a Dusttale fangame that doesn't focus on sans, but instead chooses to utilize Toriel in a completely out of character manner in both writing and attacks.
Toriel might aswell be yet another Sans here.
It’s basically every other au, the horrortale game by max endo only focused on da bois and completely ignored hotland and waterfall
Bro most fangames are like this💀 the other Dusttale fangame utilized Chara as wanting souls even though they can't even use them because they're human and a human can't absorb a human soul so basically they're doing it for no reason, them forgetting the timeline makes no sense either.
In this case Toriel doesn't know anyone despite a true pacifist ending giving her that knowledge and she shouldn't be strong enough to tank attacks form a LV 9 Frisk despite toriel being LV 11, also Chara in this fangame was a bitch💀 but then again in what fangame are they not?
@@user153xhzbso8e I think that’s a little bit of over generalizing, there is certainly good undertale fight fangames out there, look at Inverted Fate’s line up or Undertale Red, they are in the low numbers but are really high quality and manage to build their characters well despite the small screentime.

Wow, Dusttale with Toriel turned out to be very interesting. I especially liked the fact that the creator of the battle took into account the characteristics of Toriel and embodied this in attacks and endings.
Bruh frisk/chara has serious ptsd about sans I like that little detailed touch

A unique take on dusttale and considering it's called dusttale it shouldn't be completely related to sans, so I'm glad that Toriel is the the main focus.
What is most impressive is the fact that she did not kill any of the main bosses or in this case friends of hers because they were already killed in the so much with totally normal monsters she acquired a huge power and during the battle is calm, focused and without any regret and worry of having killed them even though she thought that they could never return (unless Flowey spoke of resets).
But how she has blasters if she didn't kill the Sans will be a hidden skill in all the monsters that only the Sans or the Gaster unlocked?
Ik that is just a fangame but now I really need to know...
She probably picked up the gaster blaster on her way to the throne room, seriously it's actually a WEAPON. Idk how she modified it but she did.
@@mishagaming1075 Maybe the Blasters adapt to their carrier that explains a lot, as in last breath when the head of the Sans cracks that of the blasters as well or in other mods.
@@Francisco_PT Yea, plus asriel used it so maybe he used sans's gaster blaster like "why not?" and since toriel is asriel's mother the gaster blaster adapted like asriel's final attack before going to phase 2.

Honestly DustTale should have went like this
The player (for some reason) has done [Hyperlink Blocked] Genocide Runs and doesn’t care about the Consequences of their actions even when Chara punished the player for doing genocide at the end of the post pacifist run (because they’re a f*cking real life person not fictional CHARActer)
Flowey has somehow remembered (for no f*cking reason) and for once decides to do something not for curiosity but for Heroism as he impedes your progress,kills everyone to Level Himself Up with Determination and becomes Omega Flowey or the Absolute God of HyperDeath Asriel Dreemur (anagram for Serial Murderer) and at the end he beats you and you can’t play the game anymore
Also Chara teams up with Asriel at some point
Honestly all the sh*t Sans does in Edgy Fangames is in more in character for Flowey and I guess Chara to do that
And I feel like projects that focus on Asriel and Chara (like Dreemur Reborn,Save Chara and No More Deals {I haven’t read or watched dubs of Growthspurt yet}) are better than the ones focused on Sans,Papyrus and Gaster because they’re emotional while staying true to Undertale’s Characters and aren’t overly Edgy
It sucks that good talent of making music and Animation and Artwork was used for Mediocre content that has the Sans and Papyrus be Edgy and Out of Character

This would've been alot better tbh but you know the fandom likes to ride sans off and not care about the other Characters, Chara gets practically tossed around as the main villain doing multiple genocides even though they literally discard the idea in the real game, Asriel gets forgotten, Papyrus depending on the AU can be relevant, Toriel, Asgore, Undyne, Mettaton and Alphys are all irrelevant and Sans gets rides, Flowey...who? Frisk is kinda forgotten too as Chara takes over instead.
In general AUs like these just have bad writing, canon Dusttale is actually somewhat decent as the antagonist is the actual player as the name of the Dusttale human is "THE HUMAN" Chara isn't even in control they're fully in spectator mode until the end to have their usually suggestion, erase and then bring back the world. Frisk...who? Sans is ofc the main focus and everyone else is irrelevant, so basically the only good thing about canon Dusttale is Sans isn't super op and the antagonist isn't Chara for once.

the Idea behind this is honestly really good cause it isn't just Sans again it is someone else for once thank fucking god man I have had enough of Sans is done with your shit prepare to get ya cheek's clapped in like almost every fangame or timeline/AU it is just so damn overdone although this could be better like the music needs a tiny bit of tweak's and the attack's need a little bit of polish but besides that it is actually pretty freaking good cause this fangame actually has good grammar and that is always a good thing also I wanted to say one more thing which is why I am making this little edit Toriel was alive during the war times obviously so I honestly do think Toriel has a lot of LV she just honestly has a heart of gold that is why she isn't nearly as cold as others also she wasn't even fighting at anywhere near her max when she fought you in UT even with the tough face on she wasn't anywhere near going all out cause she didn't want to kill the human but that is my opinion on that matter and it is in no way a fact
Don't get me wrong I like AUs that care about people other than sans but this one just has too many plot holes and isn't written very well to the point where I find it hard to enjoy

If you read Ask Dusttale tumblr,u will know Human and Murder is not the only enemy.
Everything can happen in this AU. Even when Asgore remember reset and try to kill both Sans and Human.
Papyrus has Deja vou about his death from the previous timeline.
Flowey can’t do anything

This makes no sense. Firstly, Toriel doesn't even have Gaster Blasters, nor is she seen using cyan and orange attacks. Secondly, Toriel is a lot more sensitive and mature. She wouldn't just kill her own kind. Why is she at Asgore's Castle, anyways? When did she get there? This is lots of flaws like the original Dusttale, so I can't get into it sadly.

Instead of doing the classic dusttale with toriel why they don't make a alterdust (altertale+dust)? Toriel never gonna attack others with killer intencions and why she have gaster blasters? Is literrally a sans battle.
As much as I dislike dust AUs due to how non-sensical they are (and the fans of them are usually really toxic), this is a pretty nice take.

It was said they already did Genocide in the past which means they're already experienced, for Sans his Karma would be very weak if not then wouldn't work at all because Frisk is at a low LV, Undyne can go just like in the neutral run where she doesn't go undying mode but even if she does Frisk already experienced it before.
