Such a fun idea to decorate your tree with these and maybe number them... to play a game with... have some sort of prize or gag in each one for a little laughter....🥰
Just precious. I can think of so many ways to use these and so many ways to reduce my scrap and trim box. Put names on them with bright glitter paint. Hot glue ribbon roses. shiny colorful buttons. Stick some wrapped candy and fast food coupons in etc. I call this making spirits bright !!!! Thank you for this post.
You didn't tell anyone how addicting these can be! Hahahaha! I decided to make some for each of my grandkids to hand out at school. I used charm packs. What I discovered is that some of the packs only had enough matching pieces to make six stockings and others would give me ten. I'll try and be more aware of that if I end up making any more of these. Many thanks (again) for the great idea. The kids will love them. My daughters will have to figure out what gifts to fill them with.
This is wonderful Laura... I have made the MSQC Christmas tree from a few years ago... Still not quilted ... These stockings ... Or same technique for mittens... Would make it perfect for advent trees for families... I am so excited... Can hardly wait to make finish ... And make more ... For next year... Thank you so much
These are great. I really wanted to make something for the Christmas table but have almost run out of time because of having Covid. These are quick and easy. Thanks
Oh how Cute! They look sooo easy to make. The little ones would be so adorable on small table top trees. The big ones would be that extra special touch for gift bags holding all sorts of things, namely gift cards like others have suggested.. I was thinking that those who have a Cricut, could personalize them with the recipients names. I know they are Christmas Stockings, but wouldn't they be cute in spring colors and decorated with flowers for Mother's Day!. I wish I had seen this video before Christmas, but hey, this gives me something to get busy on in 2022!
Hi Laura, thank you for your video. You inspired me, and I got busy and made my grand-daughters Christmas stocking. I've been wanting to make it for a couple of weeks, but I lost my sew-jo. I completed it in a couple of hours this morning, and added her name, NOA, to it. Here, we have been locked down in various levels for four months. I posted every day on instagram for over 100 days, then slowed off a bit. Merry Christmas from Auckland NZ to you in the US, Heather x
So cute. Found your channel recently and have been enjoying watching back videos... so much good information. Would like to ask what kind of machine your sit down quilting machine is.
If you were trying to view it from your cell phone, try from a computer instead. Sometimes PDFs don't open on cell phones. Hope that helps. If not, try looking in a children's Christmas coloring book. Happy sewing!
@@Toad-In-A-Puddle can you please help, I am still not finding it I get blank pages when I open the links in the description. The only link that works for me to open is the link for the glue on Amazon.
those mini ones would make a cute cute garland!!
