      Do you have a particular amount of CoQ10 that you recommend? I've heard between 600 mg- 800mg

      I talk about that in this video: ruclips.net/video/lpSyRwOQZGk/видео.html
      Hope it helps!

    Thank you so much for this video! I too struggle with swallowing pills and have always worried that the Smarty Pants gummies aren’t “enough” Hearing you acknowledge this struggle and also alternatives was so validating! Thank you 🙏🏽

      You are so welcome!
      Smarty Pants contains the recommended amount of vitamin D and folic acid (plus it has Omega 3s) which is what I tend to be most concerned about. No, it doesn't contain iron or calcium (and is a little lower in some other vitamins and minerals compared to other prenatals), but it's not the only prenatal that doesn't contain one or both of those nutrients. Supplements are meant to supplement the nutrients we get from our diets, not completely replace them, right?
      And at the end of the day, I will always say something is better than nothing (which is what I would end up with if a pill was the only option 😅)
      Natalist also has a gummy that looks pretty good. I might have to try that one: natalist.com/products/prenatal-gummy-vitamins
      Anyhow, I'm happy this video was here to normalize your experience. You are not alone! That was long. Bless you if you read to the end. Be well!

    Can you recommend a seafood alternative for a lifelong vegetarian? Thank you

    • @LiveFertile
      @LiveFertile  4 дня назад

      Hi there! If you’re asking if there’s an alternative food group based on the research I use to guide my work, I wouldn’t say there’s an alternative.
      But there are ways to get many, if not all, the nutrients that are found in seafood. I plan on doing a video on fertility nutrition for vegans and vegetarians soon. Until then, without knowing more about your diet, a good place to start would be focusing on eating a wide variety of foods from all the food groups you do eat and choosing supplements that fill in any potential gaps. And asking your doctor to check for nutrient deficiencies could be a good idea too. Be well!

    Is there a situation when you would recommend ovasitol over coq10?

    • @LiveFertile
      @LiveFertile  12 дней назад

      Hi there. That would depend on a number of factors: Age, medical history/ diagnosis, budget, symptoms, diet, risk factors, labs, etc. I would have to ask the person quite a few questions to help them decide if one or the other (or both) would be the best option for them.

    I suggest you put subtitles on your video.

      Captions are auto-generated by RUclips and when possible, auto-translation is made available. Both may take some time to generate. If you watch older videos of mind, you'll like see captions and translation options available. Best wishes!

      @LiveFertile  8 дней назад

      Hi there! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with what's available in every country. I'd recommend speaking with your personal health care providers. They should have a list of supplements they recommend that can be found locally. Best wishes!

    I asked my fertility doctor if I should take coq10 and he looked at me weird and said no. 😐 Wouldn't it benefit me?

    • @LiveFertile
      @LiveFertile  17 дней назад +2

      Every provider has their own approach and interpretation of the data (as well as exposure to data.) He also might have been considering your unique health and health history. I can't say if it would be benefit you specifically since I'm not your personal health care provider. Have you considered asking him why he doesn't think it's a good idea for you? Or bringing him research to discuss further?

    What would oral health have to do with ttc? X

    • @LiveFertile
      @LiveFertile  17 дней назад +7

      Everything! Periodontal disease is linked to an increased risk of infertility. And pregnancy can exacerbate unaddressed oral health conditions so it's a good idea to take care of dental concerns before pregnancy. Hope that answers your question. Be well!

      @LiveFertile well said!
      As a dental assistant I can say that everything you said about oral is true! The same bacteria that lives in our mouths travel throughout our bloodstream and our entire body
      So glad my husband is getting on board with his oral care as well❤❤❤
