Hi ! I highly appreciate what you just taught. That is Amazing and unique . Not everyone can afford to know how deep knowledge you have. Again thanks a million ! Keep it up, sir; lods of love respect love for you ! "Only a descerning eye can value the good things"
Not good examples, the constraction be+to+verb needs to be explained additionally. The plain is to arrive on time, what does it mean? The pkane will arrive or the plain is expected to arrive on time or sth else?
James : I am to go . After some time what happen James Oh! I am to have gone . After one months What was happend James : I was to go . After ..... His friend to another , He was to have gone ......

Thank you for the video, but i would like to know when WE have to use the perfect intinitive. I mean it could be confused with the present perfect. Even if the construction is defferente , it could be difficult to know when i have to use the perfect intinitive or the present perfect ( or past perfect). Could you help us ?
an infinitive isn't a verb, it's an adverb. Present perfect is a verb form. Infinitive example: We like to play... to play infinitive adjective of main verb like. We have liked... That's present perfect main verb tense. This is a good question, next video on this.

Hi, iam confused because you didn't give clarity regarding your sentence for example I want to have gone what does it mean ya is it completed action or regret the action has happened or not I hope you understand please reply
@@nativespeakerenglishteache2067 the plane was to have arrived on time vs the plane is to have arrived on time so both are regret am I correct or not please give me reply sir
I think that your example is wrong. I want to have gone 🧐. Is that correct ? I have learned that we can't use "Want" with a perfect infinitive. Thanks.
forget about rules. There is present moment. This present moment has past and future moments. Those past and future moments also have past and future moments. Yes that is correct. You wanted to go in the past of the past.
Present perfect is related with past and the present which means action that started in the past has the result now. Action that started and continued for sometime is complete now. How is it connected with perfect infinitive. Have you made any videos on its uses. Without knowing the uses,it is difficult to understand your explanation.
past perfect and present perfect use the participles after the verb have. "I've/ I had seen the game." Perfect infinitive has subject, verb, and to have infinitive which operates same as present perfect. "They wanted to have seen the game" means "they" wanted something to have occurred in the past. Switch to "they want to have seen the game" and now it means the in the present they want something to have occurred in the past.
there exists only present moment. This present moment has past and future moments. Each of those past and future moments also has past and future moments.
I am an Egyptian student and i would to say thank uuuuuuuu for Ur great efforts , MR❤️

(to be) + (to infinitive). I am to walk = I will walk. expectation or statement of action depends on context. cool comment
