What is tenses of Infinitive. What is the difference between Continuous Infinitive and Perfect Infinitive. What Passive Infinitive means. When different tenses of Infinitive are used.
@@englishgrammarexplained9470 Hello , I don't understand the structure of this: "the most complaints received in any sector relate to people being sold faulty cars or being tricked..." My doubt is about " being sold and being tricked"...Is the writer using passive voice? If the answer is Yes , Why don't we use "verb to be"? .. like "relate to people are being sold ... " Thank you!! PD: Is this connected to relative clauses?
Sir how these passive infinitives r used with modals plzz explain little if u can....."it might have to be changed" i dont want to learn this as have to....instead have+ passive infinitive.....in general what role 'have ' plays followed be infinive
Hi thanks a lot for this lessons, but it appears to me that we can use the passive voice for the continuous and the continuous perfect as well. Would it look like that: -continuous passive infinitive: at the moment, the car seems to being fixed -perfect continuous passive infinitive: Before you purchased it, the car seemed to have been being fixed for a quite long time...? Thanks for yout reply and for the presentation you made!
Thanks Mrs. Christina !!! but in ---Tenses of infinitive-- in sentence---- she appears to be sleeping all day---- --- to be sleeping -----function as object one. is it? if not what is its function. Please explain little more, thanks
Hello. Watched a few videos on this topic to find the answer, but still can't do that or not sure about what I have found. There are three sentences with very similar, as I think thought: 1)I would have not have finished the project without your help. 2)I would have not had finished the project without your help. 3)I would have not finished the project without your help. Am I right to say that the first option includes infinitive form (have finished) and second one is with sequence of tenses (had finished). What about the third one then? Thank you in advance.
In this sentence so called Subjunctive I structure is has been used. In fact, it is absolutely the same thing as "I let him be or should be hospitalised", just another way of saying.
инфитив , как неопределенная форма глагола , находится вне времени (прошлого, настоящего или будущего) imho. Поэтому не совсем понятно почему, например, используется термин "present infinitive", а не "simple infinitive" or "indefinite infinitive"
If I say I feel energized to have voted today so “to have voted” is a perfect infinitive, right? Here I wonder to have voted happens before or after the main verb “feel energized”. Thank you.
@@englishgrammarexplained9470 Sorry for disturbing you but could you please let me know what is the difference between two sentences as follows: 1. Having washed the car, I noticed a small scratch on the front right fender and 2. After I washed the car, I noticed a small scratch on the front right fender. Thank you.
@@hahosy6739I think you can say both ways , "having washed" is a participle 1 perfect active, "after I had washed", not just washed because this part of sentence should have the form of past perfect, because the action you made happened first.

"to have voted" happened before (sometimes it can be just a little bit before) "feel energized"

Here we have Complex Subject structure and it usually includes passive voice followed by full infinitive
Would you please tell me what device or software are you used to write?
It is MyPaint (on LinuxMint 18.2), it has an analogue - SmoothDraw 3.0 (for Windows). Both are free and very light and easy to use.
Wow! Is this Free Studio 21 of yours?! But just made in English.
Not quite. It is just for my Vietnameese and Thai friends. I don't plan to upload much stuff here, only some B2 level grammar and sometimes exercises.
@@englishgrammarexplained9470 great! But we Ukrainians also deserve and need lessons like this one from our local tutors.
1.i will to getting trolled.
2.i will stick to be getting trolled.
