I generally don’t use a microphone, due to my budget for camera equipment being $0, I use my phone lol. for this track, Radioactive, Enemies, and Done For Me, I recorded the audio for them using my friend’s piano! plugged a usb in and clicked record on the piano lol. for Red Desert, I used the default Steinway Grand Piano in Logic Pro X, and for I’m Yours I used CFX Lite, a midi add on sound I also used through Logic. CFX is what Costantino Carrara uses, and I absolutely love the sound of his covers. my only cover that uses an actual live microphone is Always Remember Us This Away. the keyboard I was using to record at the time didn’t have any good way to do the slide down the keys, so I just opted to sacrifice some sound quality for emotion and feel on that one!
