@@jay3146 thanks brotha, it’s easy to get carried away with parts that just don’t matter. In my opinion these bikes are already so good that all you really need to do is add some protection, a sparky, and hit the trails! Thanks for watching
I really enjoyed this video, great edits and I learned a few good tricks! Great Bike prep! I have to admit, I was questioning all of the black body work until I saw those graphics! Wow!!!

Quality video love the build with the oil pump delete you can remove the system completely so you don’t have the oil fill at the top of the frame and can get a cover to go over the oil fill some company’s make custom ones so you could have your wife’s initials or rider number on it
@@matthewmcmahon6281 thanks for the love! I didn’t have the time to remove the whole system this go around but maybe in the future. Thanks for watching!
This was a great video- the editing and the content had me hooked for the whole thing and I was disappointed when it was over! Bike came out great! Now I need the link to that fan for my ‘24 te300! Curious how long this actually took. When you stopped for lunch I was like erm lunch? Does he mean the next day or did he start this at midnight lol
@@4x4American hahaha thank you for the kind words. And no, I actually got lucky with no hassles. Started at 10:00 and out the door by 5:00pm! And that fan’s part number is “EP-RFT-TBI” you can buy it on extreme-parts.com or slavens racing. Thanks for watching! More content coming soon!
Bike turned out awesome, those graphics against the black really set it off. Nice job on the video edit as well. After watching this I think I'll pick up a set of KTM perch clamps and try removing the orange anodizing also. Did that KTM etching stay after they were completely stripped like when you showed them at the 18:22 mark?
@@vonrunner thanks for the love brotha! Appreciate it. And that KTM etching stayed even after sitting in the acid bath. I thought it looked super cool so I was glad it remained. Must be laser engraved or something. Same thing happened with the tusk logo on the rear disk guard. Any high dollar drain cleaner should strip the anodizing right off for you, but definitely handle it with gloves. Good luck!
@@JustSharetheStoke Yeah I didn't expect the KTM logo to still be there when you pulled it out, definitely looks cool. Going to give it a go and maybe give them a slight polish after stripping the anodizing. Do those Fasst Co rear brake return springs work well? The OEM spring isn't strong enough in my opinion and doesn't give much feedback through the boot for me.
@@vonrunner in my opinion the fasst co rear brake spring is a must! It’s relatively cheap and dramatically improves your rear brake feel. We did it on my 300 xc and her xc-w. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Especially if you ride gnar you’ll appreciate the brake feel on those brutal steep downhills.
@@jamesking4225 I made it! Just roughed it out with some 3/4” plywood, then screwed a crappy plastic parts organizer, toolbox tray, and some aluminum edges onto it. I’m already planning version 2. I’ll be sure to highlight it in another build video coming up soon. Thanks for watching!

@JustSharetheStoke That's fair but my wife begged me to get a bike. I told her as long as she is willing to do the maintenance because I simply don't have the time. So I didn't make her. Just poor wording.

Cosmetics aside, this is one of the most practical builds I've seen on RUclips to date. Nice work mate 👍

@JustSharetheStoke Leaving it in is awesome for situations you only have pump gas. It's already saved me just unplugging and pouring some gas in.
