The drawing tool doesn't show up after i drag the "draw mask" effect onto the text. It's still just the pointer arrow..
I have the same problem, can't figure it out! So frustrating
I think that you have selected the wrong tool. When you select the "Select" tool then you can't draw. You have to choose a different one e.g. "Hand"or "Position".
Was able to use the draw mask but png of text is still infront the object :/
Invert the mask by clicking the invert box.

This video is with a png - with normal text it doesn’t work very well as you can keep going over the text box
@@kaderhadri2451 you can go over the text box, but you have to select a different tool. It doesn't work with the "Select" tool.
