Like you say Barry, people will obsess about a few MPG and even change their car over it, when depreciation is the real cost. This car tyres, battery, discs and pads cheap as chips, never cost you more than £200 to service and MOT it. With your comment re £700 depreciation on electric cars, just wait till the New Year when Tesla launch the Model 3 with a solid state battery as announced by Musk last week, there will be carnage and lots of pain!.
