I still find it amazing that you could most likely still open both front doors after smashing into a wall at 50kph. The passenger compartment holds up so well.
Guys, for sensationalism you shout out the heading. But please keep in mind that this is a very small runabout and as such 3 stars is actually very good! Bigger cars always get higher ratings because they are heavier and can absorb the forces of the accident with aplomb.
It's not just Maruti. Hyundai , Renault , Tata Nano are also just as pathetic if not worse. Ford is also just about average with a 3 star rating on their aspire which costs close to 7 Lakhs. Only car that are somewhat safe in the 6L and below would be the Tata Tiago. But even that is just a tiny hatchback that's been tested with frontal crash. At the end of the day safety is not for the poor people.☹️
I don't understand why this car has the submarining problem whilst its sister car with a very similar bodyshell, the Kia Picanto, doesn't. Could the issue be sorted by re-engineering the seatbelt mounting?
NCAP ratings are only for showing off, today I saw i10 accident with bus, 3 spot death there is nothing in this car , all engine and metal parts are shifted to the front seat and 1 family lost with one small kid. In real life, I saw a metal quality in this car is not good if any big vehicle hit all parts turn into a metal ball. Better go for other best brand even if it cost more, save life.👨👩👦
Now imagine that in latin america there's a Hyundai called Hyundai Grand i10, but it only has 1 airbag (front-driver) in the most basic version and ONLY 2 AIRBAGS in the car's most expensive version
@@AndreiAndrei-rt4po car did not do bad all of these tests are designed to replicate a small vehicle so it was put up against its own strength essentially these tests are weak they need to adopt IIHS style crash testing to achieve optimum crash test results

For this kind of car in price and size - the result is ok.

There are plenty of citycars that are making it to 5 stars though
And as per my previous comment the i10 was tested after the criteria was made stricter

Not a big problem Hyundai stays👌 for me the best brand with stylist and Beautiful cars production 💪 always Hyundai for me can't wait to get my i20N!!
Seems you love Hyundai more than your family.
@@BlackMamba-io8zr yes i love cars but also my family
Not long before the i10 wars tested the NCAP criteria was made stricter this could easily account for some of its poorer ratings.
Saying 3 star a bad result. See Maruti Suzuki cars rating in India 😂
Its really bad

What in the world is your new profile picture, Youcar?
nice car
Is i20 safer than i10
The material of the body is too weak very thin above that the front bomber or the back one are plastic 💯%.
Material quality isnt the safety
So it got 3.
Very nice car , looks good in crash test
Really? 😂
