Hey Dave You are so welcome, you send out untold hours of entertainment, just a small way to say thank you; let me know if those candies are your cup of tea. The "straws" are for soldering joints. Man that box took a beating, it was brand new...haha. Take care of Yourself 😊
Very cool unboxing. My Sargent Slaughter figure was one of my favorites as a kid. Tron was always one of my favorites as well. The only toy I ever received as a child was a light cycle. So I didn't get to enjoy the toy line much, but I must have seen the movie 1'000 times. It was the only sifi movie my dad would watch for some reason. However Strong Hearts horse I think is my favorite for this haul though. I don't remember these. Would be cool to see it completed for sure. The molded legs are kind of funny, but definitely reminiscent of 80s toy lines. Thanks as always for everything you do.
I love the "make an offer" listings on ebay. You can think of a price that you're willing to pay, then offer lower. If they accept the lower price, then that's ideal. If they haggle it will generally take you up to the price you were willing to pay anyway.
I recently made an offer on an item. I started not much lower but kept getting rejected. When it got to 50p less than the original, starting price I gave up 🙄
It may sound weird, but if you have thicker carpeting in your house, you can crush up some of the packing material into the carpet, then run your vacuum cleaner over it. The static electricity will usually bring the carpet back to life. Especially in the more traffic worn areas.
So many great pickups. Love you got those NECA TRON figures for an amazing price. They go for silly money. So I went with the REACTION version. And I am still surprised that the Star trek figures are still so inexpensive. Even on card. I am grateful because it is one line I never feel in a rush to pickup.
Great unboxing Dave, some lovely goodies there. I’m in the same Tron boat!!! lol I need Tron himself to finish my collection, but silly money asking price, patience is key lol
In case you don't know, some packing beans are actually made out of starch. Those can be dropped in some water and will desolve instantly and are perfectly safe for nature. If they have a cilinder shape then they are most likely of the correct type. I'm not sure if there are other shapea of starch packing beans out there. Alternatively you can stick them together with some moisure or stick them to your face to have some fun with the kids.
Fun unboxing, I’d buy Tron from any era tho after 40 years of collecting I don’t need any more toys. What is your mailing address? I have a nerdy Star Wars droid patch I made to represent Hawaii that I’d be happy to send to you.
Hi Dave is an unrelated note to this video but I have a vintage action man could you string it for me? I’m happy to give you a bit of money to do it for me.
Excellent unboxing video, Dave.
Awesome acts of kindness from Andrew and Tim.
And a great trade with Michael and excellent eBay pick ups, too.
Really like those Tron figures. Thanks Dave.

Thanks Tim. It's all good stuff! The post don't treat packages well but it all survived. Cheers

Another nice selection of figures this week!

Cheers Dave! Remember 'resistance is futile'

I always loved that Strongheart gimmick for his horse. Very clever.
Hated those new adventures of he man toys, but it did keep the line limping along for a while,a generation after me grew up with them
The round patch was literally from Buck Rogers. His little robot buddy wore it around his neck
I know who you mean, Dr Theopolis. But it's not that as it doesn't have a face. 🤔

If i find two, I'll let you know!
@@ToyPolloiTwo lol cheers mate 😂👍
Some really cool stuff!
The limbs and head of Sark are definitely faded as they should be the same colour as the torso. But Sark is a lighter shade of red than the Guard.
Thanks. It's a very different colour to the vintage Sark I have. But still looks good.

These were old fashioned polystyrene ones sadly. So just landfill.
Cool unboxings
Wasn’t Sergeant Slaughter known as Sergeant Slammer in the UK?
Yes
I used to have Sergeant slaughter as a kid I think I had one or two of them but I lost him when I was a kid he had a broken thumb

Thanks. Drop me a DM and we can sort something out.
Those aren’t sweets, they are breath mints lol
Some types of packing peanuts just dissolve in water
Not these ones sadly. Old fashioned polystyrene peanuts 🥜

Hi, I have videos that show how to restring them. Have a go yourself as it's not a hard project. Cheers
