DONOT return those stolen artifacts back to the British Museum. The British military stole them and they shouldn’t be returned to those thieves.

Well, Ghana has, since rescuing itself from British control, widely opened its doors to your kind. Many have and are taking the initiative. You're welcome.

IT WAS NOT during colonial rule. They looted and burned Kumasi during the last Anglo -Asante war in 1900. After which the Asante empire was forced by the British to release its teritorial claim on the coastal areas (Gold Coast) and other territories. The Asante empire was reduced to a state and in 1901, the British form Gold Coast Colony which included the coastal areas and other territories the Ashanti empire used to claim. Asantes state was not part of the Gold Coast colony. The British called the coastal areas "Gold Coast". The British Governor ruled Gold Coast and Asante king(specifically the Asante king uncle) ruled the Asante state since the British exiled the Asante king. The Asante king Prempeh later was returned and continued his rule. When Gold Coast gained it's independence by Kwame Nkrumah, Asante state joined newly formed Ghana as a state within a state in 1957. Let's not misinform the public with general misconception. There was no British governor for Asante state even after the Asante empire lost the last Anglo-Asante wars in 1900s after a 100 yrs when it first started.

And we all know the greedy dictator running that place, can't wait to quickly and quietly sell those 'artefacts' to a collector on the international black market, for a couple million dollars, and then buy another lux penthouse in Paris for one of his kids.

You hide behind profiles to make such ignorant comments. The British can have it for decades and generate millions of pounds but when the African is given their own property back you insinuate this?

Hmmm...but how is these items stolen?
The Ashantis were beaten and defeated and the British conquered them and took these items fair and square.
Just like how the Ashantis to this day, still have in their possession lands and resources they conquered from other tribes.
If the Ashantis want these items returned, they should look in the mirror and return the lands and resources they "stole" too.
