A player on the books of Sheffield Wednesday and Mansfield Town, Steve Samson had the world at his feet. Until at 18 he was diagnosed with bipolar and his career was cut short by a mental breakdown.
Now 51, Steve continues to face challenges every day of the week but was given a lifeline by Denise Marsh who recruited him to help deliver football sessions at Manton Colliery AFC's Football Foundation-funded site.
