Great video and great catamarans! I actually watched the video and am typing this comment onboard one using Starlink during a passage 100 miles offshore while cruising along at 12 knots. Life is good, just put your deposit down Nick!
Love this channel. You guys do some awesome filming and go some awesome places but you also show the tech, problems and practicalities too. Might just be the physicist in me but it's way more interesting than the regular "Instagram version" you see on a lot of sailing channels.

Yes the supply chain issues are still continuing, we have a new FP on order and part of the owners groups and delivery is pushed out, some were ordered with Volvos, then substituted with Yanmars and now these are hard to come by some new boats are coming out with Betas at the moment. This has to put manufacturing costs which will get passed on. Also long lead times on new together with price increases will flow through to the used market and keep it inflated for the medium term.
I always wonder with such high demand and deliveries getting push farther into the future… why the industry doesn’t make a concerted effort in increasing their production capacity and leverage more economies of scale? Do it the model T way. (You can have it an any color you want as long as it is black)
With the smaller Balance models (44 and 48) there are viewer options available than with their larger models. Phil mentions somewhere that it is to keap the production more streamlined and also the price lower.
