*JACK* Your new work is inspiring and soul catching. *EVERYONE* saying ''I miss the old jack''... people *Grow & Move onto Better Things.* If you're a supporter of *JacksGap* then support him correctly. Don't be mad because he's *Growing for the better. Keep the content coming. You don't see things like this on *RUclips* everyday.
I much prefer these videos over "tags" and "Q+As". Every single one of Jack's videos has such dedication and time-consuming, hard work behind it. They're not just some roughly edited and quickly thrown together videos of him sitting on a couch answering questions from twitter. Personally, Jack's videos inspire and entertain me more than RUclipsrs just talking about themselves to a camera - but if people are complaining, then so be it. There are plenty of channels out there for that kind of thing. Meanwhile, I hope that there are people who can appreciate such amazing videos as these.
I love the way you, Jack and Finn, have chosen to use your platform on youtube, because instead of just doing the tag videos, the challenge videos, etc. you guys create meaning and you make me laugh and cry and think about the world and not just myself, and I really value that. Thank you.
These past months the majority of the comments were negative and I was so sad. It makes me so very happy to see so many positive comments like yours on this video. With the sound of the beautiful film in the background and reading these comments nearly brings tears to my eyes. :)
Jack, I know people are complaining about how you are not the "fun Jack" anymore, but they clearly don't see how talented you really are. You are more than just a hot boy youtuber, you are a director, and a pretty amazing one at that. Your work is outstanding and inspired me to pursue a role in the film industry. Lets say, that you never picked up this passion and stuck to the normal RUclips layout, I would have never taken and interest in film. And film, like Danielle and her music, is my escape. So I thank you.
Also I actually have so much respect for you Jack, pursuing what you're most passionate about even when some people complain about it. Follow your dreams.
i dont think many people see how talented you are and how much you have grown, from your quirky less serious videos to the ones you are producing today. you have outdone yourself and i think everyone needs to realise that no one stays the same, especially when you are pursuing your dreams, you need to be everchanging. so keep changing Jack and Finn, keep reaching higher goals and keep moving forward because the loyal fans always be right behind you.
To all the negative comments: go home. Jack clearly wanted to share this not only with us but with the world. This is an amazing story that deserves to be known. I am appalled by the camera work, audio and everything. Hard work was put into this and as a fan, I appreciate it!
***** ***** pfft, I'm sorry. English is not my first language so my translation was lost. I meant more like shocked and amazed. DEFINITELY not disappointed! Thank you for the correction though :)
For everyone arguing about the old channel vs the new channel, did you even watch the video? Did you see that?? Did you hear that beautiful music she was playing?? Did you see how her face lit up when she was working with children and doing what she loved? You just watched someone's dreams come true and you're unhappy because it didn't make you laugh. Everything isn't supposed to make you laugh. Some things are meant to inspire. When God gives you a talent for making videos, you can do one of two things: Use it to make yourself famous, or use it to change the world. Thank you Jack for using your talent to change the world.
So many people need to understand that Jack and Finn are growing up. They're moving away from the generic challenge videos to bigger and better and more mature things. Hate to say it, but they're catering to a different audience now. They obviously don't want to lose their original fan base but want to expand to make a footprint in more advanced film making that takes time and skill to edit and produce the videos. I'm no expert but I can tell they have very good editing and filming skills and videos like these are a great way for them to pursue their professional career in this industry.
It blows me when people say they miss the old funny videos, they didn't sub for documentaries! Well go watch Marcus Butler, Alfie Dyes, Joe Sugg, and Caspar. Hell they make 1 video for you once a week with the SAME content. Do you think those funny quirky videos are going to farther their career in their 30's and 40's?? No! Jack is a film maker and has a lot of potential. Face it!
thank you! i cant stand watching any of those other channels videos anymore, they're all so repetitive and forced and dull. jacksgap brightens up my subbox
Sasha A I feel the same way! For me personally, they (Marcus, Alfie, etc.) were great for a while, but now I find their content so dull and mediocre. I don't find their videos funny anymore and it feels like they're making a video for the sake of making it, without actually putting some thought into. But that's just how I feel. But when I come to this channel, I am in awe at how they've grown and the impact they create at such a young age.
I'm actually subscribed to Joe and Caspar but you are so right. Those videos are good for a quick laugh, but Jacksgap is real quality work and it's gonna take them far
Right? I would rather appreciate a well thought-out, meaningful video that took time and effort to make (and that makes you really appreciate humanity) than some 5 minute video which lacks any form of creativity and tries to replace that by trying way too hard to be funny. I would rather want a video to touch me for a long time than one that makes me laugh (even that is an overstatement for most of the content out there) for 2 mins.
This was awesome. Love how you guys are expanding your portfolio with some incredible short doco's. Big ups to Skype for giving you this opportunity though! For giving you the funds and (presumably) a bit extra to make these incredible videos. Glad to see larger corporations noticing RUclips as a serious medium for advertising, education and entertainment. Looking forward to the next two!
to all the people saying that this is boring, you obviously don't understand the amount of hard work and long hours it took to make this. Just because jack was brave enough to break away from the mainstream challenge or tag videos doesn't give you the right to say that his videos are 'boring' or 'not the same' because in my opinion the edit and filming is beautiful
It's really something when you feel so connected to a story that you forget you're even watching a RUclips video. What you're doing is truly is amazing :) keep on inspiring us with your videos!
This is what I want to see when I click on a video. I'm fifteen and female. 'Female teenage audience' does not necessarily mean an audience that cannot comprehend real, true content. And for those who say he cannot make films, watch the rickshaw run series. That is filmmaking.
I couldn't agree more! The Rickshaw Run, I feel, was the beginning of a new chapter for their channel and it's refreshing to see them utilising their skills and talent to expose audiences to unique experiences. Really proud of them for pushing the boundaries despite a certain level of backlash from their younger audience.
I totally agree. I mean I wouldn't necessarily think: "Hey, I wanna watch an inspirational video about a violinist in New York", but no-one can fault the editing, the filming, the way it's put together, etc. And I'm always surprised at how interested I am in the subject :)
I wish more youtubers were like you and cared about adding value to the world and the RUclips community. There's a bunch of youtubers in England who just videotape each other doing stupid challenges or tags and sit on the money from RUclips ads and provide NO valuable content. I wonder how people waste time watching their videos and it's people like you who should be noticed.
***** Yes that video had to valuable content, I agree, however Shane is an amazing creator. He has a main channel where he posts videos that he puts time, effort, and his own money into. He just made a movie, so in my opinion, he is not one of those youtubers. And granted, being that kind of youtuber isn't bad. They might be shit creators, but they are still a part of this community.
I agree, however that sort of content is popular the RUclips platform. It is shit, I'm not going to lie, but the people that watch those videos enjoy them. And at the end of the day, thats what matters. This kinda video is not everyones style. Just putting that out there, I respect what you said and I agree, just wanted to add that.
That's beyond wonderful. I was smiling throughout the whole video, cause it's pure, simple, beautifully made and with that fresh aspect, I don't know how to describe, but it made me happy. You guys make me happy. Please, never stop making videos and creating content that, also, make YOU happy.
Amazing. In the best way I completely forgot I was watching a youtube video. I forgot what I'd clicked on, I forgot I was even watching this mini 'documentary' style video. I thought I was listening to her tell me her story. It just felt really raw, fluid and organic. It wasn't covered in flashy editing that takes away from the whole picture. Can't wait for the next one!
I had the biggest smile on my face throughout this entire thing. Nothing I LOVE more than hearing people's stories, and you sure do you have a way of letting people do just that. Can't wait to see the others, Jack! :'D
Moved to tears (@4:02),"Whenever I get to teach him it's even a treat for me because when the sun is down on the east coast it's still up in the west and it's great to see the sun shining." Completely caught me off guard!
This was really, REALLY great. The videography was well done, sensitive without being sentimental. The dialog gave us a good idea what is going on in her head while not being too introspective. It was just strong, legitimate film work - like so much of your work is & is becoming. I'm very thankful for you, Jack, & you, Finn - 2 guys doing such strong work in an age group & genre that sometimes seems to lack depth & breadth. I know your mum & dad are proud of you, and so am I ;-) Thanks for all you are & for all you are doing.
Everything about this was beautiful. The videography, the lighting, the sound mixing, the storytelling…everything. Excellent job to everyone involved with this video!
This is lovely: "I do have a dream, everyone has a dream. One of my dreams is to see a student of mine go onto bigger stages and better things than I myself accomplished. I would know at that moment that I gave them everything that I knew. That I shared with them everything that I had."
I loved this short film. I may sound weird, but you know what I really enjoyed? The sounds. You know, the little sounds in the background, while she was talking, people passing in the underground, the trains. I don't know why, but I really liked your choice of leaving those sounds in and not just let us hear a voiceover. Plus, this story was amazing. How she uses skype and what she wants from her students. Good job, guys :)
This is amazing Jack. Truly. I love your directing/editing style. I hope one day you get to direct a full-length indie film, because the vibe you've got going on is unreal.
This is fantastic. Proud to say I know Danielle personally (she's my brother's girlfriend). Her passion for teaching and the violin is extraordinary. Great video, Jack.
am i the only one who gets happier and happier the more they grow, i guess its because i feel like im growing with them , i hope one day i can make vids as artistic as this :)
If you're going to complain about jack's videos being boring, why not watch every other youtuber who makes tag videos for money. Jack and Finn are pursuing their common interest for film and the fact that they want to share this content with you shows you how proud they are of their works and if you're going to put down their amazing short films because they're "boring" you should probably unsubscribe because if you don't find any interest in film you shouldn't have any place to criticise them.
i love how professional your videos are! Its really impressive the skill level you guys are on now, i love watching these small documentary types videos they are really inspiring :) loved it :)
The way you were able to capture her spirit and the love for what she does, while showcasing your own talents and dreams for the future, is really inspiring. It makes you look at the world in a different way. Usually, if I had somewhere be, I would just walk by a musician on the streets or in a subway to continue on my way without a second thought, but the way the video portrayed her love and dedication for the music makes me wish I had stopped to listen and watch them perform so that I could get a brief insight into their lives. It motivates me to pursue and fight for my dreams, so thank you.
i am SO proud of you, i subscribed to you a few years ago because of your funny & random videos and I now see you moving on to more proffessional things such as documentaries like this one. I'm happy to see you following your dreams. You are extremely talented. - Amanda in South Florida
This is absolutely incredible. It's filmed so well and so creative. Also, she's such an amazing violinist; it puts my violin playing to shame. She's very talented.
I had chills when she started playing in the metro station. I just want to say that JacksGap has developed and became the channel which provides valuable content, arouses emotions and i'm super happy about it, thank you Jack and Finn for making RUclips a beautiful place
I'm not crying, I swear I am not crying. Wow. This was literally the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, capturing the essence of her talent and how she uses it to connect with people all around the world. It's brilliant, amazing, absolutely mind blowing and other great adjective to describe this film. Bravo, Jack, Finn and Team. Bravo!
I subscribed to you ages ago when you made quirky fun videos. Then you had your big break from youtube which lasted over 3 months. Then you posted your travel videos which I really enjoyed. But now it's just serious documentaries and things like that. I loved the old videos you made where Finn was also involved like PO Box videos and just random stuff and I get that you guys are growing up and do more serious stuff. But I think I speak for some of your subscribers when I say I'd like it if you brought back your fun, quirky videos back. As much as I love both of you, you're turning into Barcroft and I just miss your old videos because they were more enjoyable to watch but I also like your documentations and stuff like that but I think there should be a balance between serious videos and fun videos xxx
I agree. I love these short films as well because I love learning about other peoples stories, but I just want them to throw in a fun video here and there.
Stephanie Rodriguez thank god! Someone who understands. I thought I would get a lot of hate for this comment haha. But quite a lot of people 1'd it. Like I like these sorts of videos once in a while but it's getting to the point where I think they should change it up and add a bit more fun and not just seriousness xx
Jack is a man now! Yeah those quirky videos were fun, but I actually enjoy these quality videos! He doesn't sit in front of a camera once a week posting recycle video ideas to get a check! He's posting videos that'll help him in the long run in his career choice and I respect 100%. If you are a true viewer you'll support him in any route he goes.
there are 10 million youtubers that do those things. Just go watch them. Its the same thing with bernie. He likes to make films, the "fun" part of them as you call it is jsut them trying to interact with us. Maybe they over did it and you tho they were just another same old youtubers. Enjoy diversity.
JetsLifeFool101 I never said that I didn't like these types of videos because I actually do like them. I'm just saying that I think, not what you think but I as in me, I think there should be a balance between fun and serious.
I think that something that could make this little fight stop is maybe having two channels, one for vlogs and Q&As etc, just so people can enjoy their personalities, which is something that I think we would all enjoy since that's why we came here in the first place. But also having this main channel to post professional things like this new series and shed sessions... like things that allow them to do what they love as filmmakers.
I dunno if they have time for that though. It's not like they're just filming Monday, editing Tuesday and relaxing the rest of the week. Also, the film making is a part of their personalities. I think it shows through their videos. And I mean, they are going to grow up some time, they already have so I think we should just be grateful we still can watch them for free on RUclips :)
I agree, but thats why the videos on the other channel don't need to have like really good editing or anything like this... they could just be like vlogs and stuff, just because even though we can see their personalities on these videos here, we don't get to actually see them, you know? And I know these videos are great content and they put a lot of work into it, but people miss just watching the guys being themselves sometimes.
Jeniffer Fonseca The reason they don't do this is because they don't want to fullstop. I know people all enjoy the fun silly videos they used to make just like so many other youtubers (and don't get me wrong I enjoy alot of sit down silly vlog videos now from other creators). But the reason they don't make that type of video anymore is because they don't want to. As much as their old fans try to force them back into the simple vlog stuff, if they caved in and actually did it, it would be fake. because they simply just don't want to. If they wanted to continue being silly and funny and not high quality (which is fine, i'm not judging) then they would have never made the change to all of this amazing directing and producing style of documentary/short film videography. because this is what they want to do.
I get what you're saying but I don't thinks it's because they don't want to, I mean Jack did an 'ask jack' not too long ago, but they don't have time to edit these other videos when they're working on professional stuff, so that's why I suggested a channel where they wouldn't need to do that. But anyway, It was just a suggestion, if they actually don't want to make the other kinds of videos it's ok, people also love the new content.
Jeniffer Fonseca even though I assume that ask video was just a filler video to get to know more about the filmmaking side of Jacksgap, you do make a very good point. :) But even if they did make a second channel, knowing Jacksgap, they would still put heaps of effort in. :) We'll just have to wait an see what goes on I guess.
Everything about your documentaries always make me smile. Just knowing that you started off as a youtuber who made funny videos and completely changed your style to do something different and creative is very refreshing to me. I can see you really have a passion for all types if film making and I love watching whatever you decide to make whether it be a documentary or a comedy video, either way I'll watch it and be impressed every time.
This is very inspiring. I think it's something wonderful and amazing that her dream is for one of her students to become famous cause normally dreams are something that people want for theme selfs and not others.
You're directing skills showed off her beauty so miraculously. Her inner beauty & outer beauty. The passion she has for students & for herself, is inspiring & I hope everybody who sees this gets as much out of it as I did. Thank God for you Jack, for if it wasn't for you, I would not have known this beautiful woman, & for that, I'm eternally grateful. Don't stop this project for anything.
Mr. Jack and Finn. I have just started watching your videos about 4 months ago and I must say you all have come a long way. The youtube community in general has come a long way and has become a great medium for entertainment and much more. Great job and I hope to see more of what's coming in your journey.
I used to see this channel as just another channel with challenges etc. Now, it's fast becoming one of my favorites. Every time they upload a video, it's even better than the one before. You guys are original. It's refreshing to watch your videos. You really are creators. Loved this video. Excited for the upcoming videos of "Following Heart".
Why people criticise so much doing a skype commercial if at the end he just shared a good story? How could you possibly not enjoy those 6 minutes of a GREAT story? After all Jack's persuading his path as a director, so if you are a fan, you should support him. I also loved his funny random videos at his room, but I can say that his videos always make my day better. Skype is helping him to persuade his dreams, and we're getting AWESOME content back. So, Jack, keep doing what you are doing. We, the ones who really like you, will support and appreciate your dedication in a short film or vlogging in your bedroom, so thanks for all.
I got so excited when you announced this series because you and Finn always do something different than most of the RUclipsrs. I love the sounds of Violins and this was just perfect can not wait for the episodes of this series. It was brilliantly produced and edited the whole video was amazing! This is why I always love JacksGap. So happy, to see you guys uploading videos again whether it's you or not. ♥
I can understand that people miss the old, personal videos on this channel, but I can safely say that Jacksgap has become the most inspiring and interesting channel on youtube that I know of. I love the variety, the concepts and just generally the projects. So yes, I understand that some of you might miss the old videos, but please just let them do what they want to do, because it actually inspires the majority of us and takes a different perspective. Yes, vlogs are good too, but there are so many channels that do them, so go watch them rather than trying to prevent something amazing. Thank you!
The diversity of content your channel has just keeps getting better. Really enjoyed watching this its great to see life from other peoples perspective and its encouraging to see there are still people using the internet for good. I've had such a rubbish day at work and when she said " I take a deep breathe and I say that I am here for a reason and I need to embrace it" it was just what I needed to hear. I hope you do make it Danielle its nice to see you building your dreams and helping others to do the same! xxx
Honestly I find it really annoying when people say that they are unsubscribing it's okay if you don't like their content but you don't need to say it to the world just click the button and your done you just have to face the fact that they are doing what they want this is THEIR channel so if they want to make documentaries than they are going to make documentaries if you want quirky videos then either find a new person to subscribe to or watch their old video but on a positive note I really loved this video and her love for music you can tell just by the way she told us how she felt about playing really inspiring 💖
Wow! Absolutely love this. You have definitely found your groove Jack. I think when you are passionate about something, it shines through in the videos you make. You were a born film maker. I can't wait to see the others. I for one love the new direction of your channel. It's quite unique :) x
I enjoyed this so much, you're really progressing as a filmmaker. It really annoys me that some of your viewers don't appreciate well made content like this and instead want some shitty challenge videos. Keep up the good work Jack and the team!
This could've been an actual documentary and I would have watched it. Fantastic editing and cinematography and the music is brilliant. I hope this is just the start of many great things in your career, Jack and Finn.
This was so good. Can I just say, as a representative of the teenage girl demographic, that not all teenage girls watch purely funny and quirky videos. I myself don't. Yes, I loved their funny and entertaining videos but it doesn't have to be that way all the time. Not all youtubers have to be funny and make funny videos. There are many other youtubers out there for that. I love the fact that so much effort, creativity and genuine passion is put into these videos and the fact that it comes across so easily is truly something. Personally, I love these kind of videos because they can be so motivating and they give me a lot to think about. I am extremely impressed and am now looking forward to more of this series! :)
I love this content. It may not be what I originally subscribed to but that's one component that makes me love JacksGap even more. I love how stories are always being told with beautiful and vivid videos. The amount of effort and creativity they put into their current videos are incredible.
This is honest, true art. I started violin when I was seven years old, and at times I wanted to quit. I never wanted to see a violin again. but it's teachers like you who inspired me to keep going. I now go to a music school, surrounded by artists with dreams. i play with amazing international musicians. music is amazing, thank you to every teacher who brings the joy to youth like me xx
This is truly beautiful, Jack. The quality and the effort you've put in this project is unbelievable! :) I'm a pianist myself and I can really relate to what Danielle had to say. Music can connect people and teaching it creates an even stronger connection. Loved this.
Jack and Finn haven't changed their content has and I support them 100%. It is the creator who produces and takes the time to upload videos on issues or things that THEY are interested in, if you say you're unsubbing, by all means, I'd prefer to see videos with originality that you can tell passion and dedication went into rather than 'recycled' videos. Don't get me wrong I liked Jack and Finn's old videos but just bc they stopped making them doesn't mean I'm unsubbing. Sure they may not be targeting their 'demographic' but as a creator I wouldn't want to upload just to become popular, I'd do what I'm passionate about and if ppl don't like the style so be it. I'd rather have less subscribers, but who appreciate the quality of the work than heaps of subscribers were only a few are subbed for content rather than watching based of looks. Kudos to Jack for doing what you want!
I'm normally the guy that watches the video, likes it occasionally, and moves on. Had to comment and tell you guys how great I think this newest installment is. These videos are a constant reminder as to why I'm pursuing a career in creative media. Excellent producing and editing. Keep up the great work, guys. We're proud of the difference you're making.
I can't really explain how excited I am for the future videos in this project. Such great work JacksGap. I did expect Danielle to say something more inspiring though, but she is a suberb musician if I may say so myself.
I absolutely love this video for two reasons: 1. The film work is amazing and just breathtaking. Everything from the music to the videography itself makes this video an amazing piece of art. Jack and Finn, you did an amazing job with this piece of work/art! 2. I love the part where she talks about her students moving on to bigger things than she had ever done because it really relates to me. I have been taking music lessons on the bass clarinet and clarinet for 4 years now and I found out a week ago that I will be playing at one of the most prestigious venues in the world, Carnegie Hall in New York, in February with the Honors Performance Series Band. I'm doing all of this at the age of 16 and I feel that this is the sense of accomplishment that my teacher must have felt when I told her about me playing on an national level in such an amazing place!
I don't know why, and maybe I will never know why people keep posting negative comments about Jacksgap's new videos. We come here, a youtube channel, to get to know the creator, to see the world via their eyes, to learn, to share, to be inspried. Miss the old fun videos? Yeah they were nice but people grow up too. We get older. We make different things. Jack and Finn have their own rights to do what they want, to try new things, to give people courage. This is very beautiful! Keep up the good work!
I really feel I've grown up with you guys in a way. I personally enjoy your new content. It's fresh, new and on a completely different level. You seem very passionate Jack. Never stop filming. You guys inspire me :)
I'm so disappointed with myself because I hadn't found this channel earlier. Your videos look amazing and they are truly creative and inspiring! I can't wait to watch more of your videos, they are a work of art.
What I love the most about this doc, is the sound of it. It sounds beautiful, the voice over is crisp and sharp and it goes well with the violin and the hustle bustle of NYC. Great job can't wait for the next videos.
This was utterly amazing. Being a New Yorker and a violinist myself, it is safe to say that this story that you presented to us in the most fashionable way, is strongly motivational. In New York, no one cares about street performers and some even think it is embarrassing to be seen with them, no matter if they have talent or not. This woman portrayed here is an inspirational and passionate person who is, well, following her heart. One of your best videos so far. Keep up the good work, you should be very proud of yourself because I am :)
Beautiful video. Great to see RUclips creators competing with the best documentary makers, thanks to quality projects like this. Looking forward to the next!
This is why I love Jacksgap, not only for their humour and their great personality but the way they connect with people from everywhere so willingly and it's like when they do it, you can feel every ambition they have for what they're doing as you watch the magic unfold. :')
*Dear Jack and Finn: one day you will be an amazing and successful producers of shorts and larges films and I will be more proud of you. I loved you when you made fun videos and i love you now when you share with the world this kind of content. God bless you*
Well, it depends of the vlogger. i don't know to Hannah and her work but for me Jack and Finn make some of the best shorts films in youtube and they don't just sit in front of a camera and talk about topics with not sense.
I genuinely really enjoyed this video yes I loved there old content but they've matured and you can see how much time and effort that would go into a video like this and people should just appreciate that...
Jack's videos aren't like everyone else's, he differs from the norm. You'd think that this 'new' Jack would start up a storm but no most people want the same old stuff If you think about it, it's all a bunch of fluff Cuz videos like these are worth watching and have meaning That leave you at the end totally beaming 'Content Creator's' are like flowers amongst weeds Channels like Jacksgap are exactly what RUclips needs. He doesn't go with everyone else It's inspirational to me Jacks always tried to be himself That's what everyone should be. Just be yourself, do what you what you do Because we need some more originality.
I liked your old videos, they got me to subscribe to you after all, but your new ones I LOVE. They are so artistic and carry deeper meanings and I really don't understand how everyone is thinking otherwise. A lot of people on here do the quirky videos on here that they can make in a day, so go watch them if that is what you want. Imagine how long a video of this quality and beauty took them to make!! SO long I am sure. I appreciate this work so much. Please keep doing exactly what you are.
This just shows how much the little things add up to the big things. Never underestimate these little things bc one day you'll wake up and would never have expected the unexpected right there in your hands. This video was beautifully produced and although it was simple, the techniques, the determination, and the hard work that must've been used, laced together this work of art with a very powerful message from a life of a woman who lives simply, and strives towards her dream.
I love this woman shes such a genuine and good hearted person, after only these 6 minutes I want to get to know her. This was a great documentary I'm in love with your filming it absolutely inspires!
The whole vibe of this video was just so lovely and inspirational. I love how it gave us an insight to someones life and it scares me that we walk past these people every single day and not think twice about them. Did you see how happy the violinist is when she teaches and shares her passion? and her dream is to see one of her students succeed, that's so beautiful. There's so much more to people that meets the eye and I want to thank you Jack and his team for showing me this, much love
This was really inspirational. I love seeing people speaking about what they love with such passion. Also, great job filming, producing , editing and all that. It's a beautiful project and I'm excited to see more! Keep up the good work, Jack! 👍😃
This was incredible! Please don't give attention to those who insist to say "bring your old quirky funny back". No. This is the kinda work that you shine the most. As someone who subscribed at the "quirky funny" times, I'm happy and proud to see that path this channel took.
Amazing!! Just moved to NYC... Brooklyn in particular and am feeling very homesick. Seeing her drive, her passion, and her quote of "I'm here for a reason " really inspired me. Thank you for continuing to produce great work. You guys are truly making a difference.
This was a beautiful story and the message behind it can be applied to so many different situations. It is hard to convey the life of someone in just 6 minutes, but, like all of your recent videos, have been able to give depth without too much detail which is incredibly amazing. I cannot wait to see the other two videos in this small series. Extremely good work!
👏👏👏👏👏 I'm totally agree
I much prefer these videos over "tags" and "Q+As". Every single one of Jack's videos has such dedication and time-consuming, hard work behind it. They're not just some roughly edited and quickly thrown together videos of him sitting on a couch answering questions from twitter. Personally, Jack's videos inspire and entertain me more than RUclipsrs just talking about themselves to a camera - but if people are complaining, then so be it. There are plenty of channels out there for that kind of thing. Meanwhile, I hope that there are people who can appreciate such amazing videos as these.
Maybe we had to read all those stupid hate comments to get good ones like these. :)
I love the way you, Jack and Finn, have chosen to use your platform on youtube, because instead of just doing the tag videos, the challenge videos, etc. you guys create meaning and you make me laugh and cry and think about the world and not just myself, and I really value that. Thank you.
well said. :3
These past months the majority of the comments were negative and I was so sad. It makes me so very happy to see so many positive comments like yours on this video. With the sound of the beautiful film in the background and reading these comments nearly brings tears to my eyes. :)
Exactly how I feel too! Love their creative content.
GirlCrafter17 Aw thank you that was really nice!
This comment sums up exactly how I feel perfectly.
This was very very beautiful and I liked it a lorra lot
:)
I'm totally with Louise. Really inspiring as well!
AMAZING
So right
3 cheers for Louise! Wee!
i dont think many people see how talented you are and how much you have grown, from your quirky less serious videos to the ones you are producing today. you have outdone yourself and i think everyone needs to realise that no one stays the same, especially when you are pursuing your dreams, you need to be everchanging.
so keep changing Jack and Finn, keep reaching higher goals and keep moving forward because the loyal fans always be right behind you.
Rightly said
To all the negative comments: go home.
For future reference, it sounds like you wanted to use the word "astounded" from your description of what you actually meant :).
You can also change the world by making people laugh, but yeah I agree that this video is better than the other ones.
Growing their wings so to speak.
Well said
It blows me when people say they miss the old funny videos, they didn't sub for documentaries!
Agreed 100% !
I seriously had the most epic smile on my face watching her play the violin on stage with that band. It was just so inspiring.
Well said!
Steven Tyler :)
couldn't have said it better!
i absolutely agree and also couldn't have said it better :)
to all the people saying that this is boring, you obviously don't understand the amount of hard work and long hours it took to make this.
Couldn't agree more
I couldn't agree more! The Rickshaw Run, I feel, was the beginning of a new chapter for their channel and it's refreshing to see them utilising their skills and talent to expose audiences to unique experiences. Really proud of them for pushing the boundaries despite a certain level of backlash from their younger audience.
Well said!
I totally agree. I mean I wouldn't necessarily think: "Hey, I wanna watch an inspirational video about a violinist in New York", but no-one can fault the editing, the filming, the way it's put together, etc. And I'm always surprised at how interested I am in the subject :)
***** I just meant that those are the target audiences of these pop stars. Anyway, I apologize if that hurt your sentiments. :)
I was crying because It was so beautiful...you think I am joking, but I'm not. xD
You've once again outdone yourselves. I'm always in pure awe.
every few years i think of this video and come back to it it’s really beautiful ❤️
I had the biggest smile on my face throughout this entire thing. Nothing I LOVE more than hearing people's stories, and you sure do you have a way of letting people do just that. Can't wait to see the others, Jack! :'D
It's all about following your dreams
Awesome!
Hi Concrafter ich finds auch geil
Schlecht xD
Das kann meine 11 jährige Schwester...
HALLO THERE, CONFRAFTER! :D
Lord Vittiate Es geht um den Film und die Message.
I know your mum & dad are proud of you, and so am I ;-)
Thanks for all you are & for all you are doing.
Everything about this was beautiful. The videography, the lighting, the sound mixing, the storytelling…everything.
Excellent job to everyone involved with this video!
This is lovely:
"I do have a dream, everyone has a dream.
Pizza Julio Exactly!
This is amazing Jack. Truly.
I love your directing/editing style.
I hope one day you get to direct a full-length indie film, because the vibe you've got going on is unreal.
Don't forgot the camera work :P
Of course :)
This is fantastic. Proud to say I know Danielle personally (she's my brother's girlfriend). Her passion for teaching and the violin is extraordinary.
Great video, Jack.
Tell her that she's awesome!
goduxunike I shall :-) Thank you.
Insanely beautiful! Got shivers, amazing work as usual
love your videos as well! y'all are so talented!
Guys I'm obsessed with your channel! It's perfect! Love you !
am i the only one who gets happier and happier the more they grow, i guess its because i feel like im growing with them , i hope one day i can make vids as artistic as this :)
but untill then , making videos in my room will be good enough for me xD hahaha
i think people just miss the jack who was just being silly colabing with people in his room :)
Its really impressive the skill level you guys are on now, i love watching these small documentary types videos they are really inspiring :) loved it :)
btw ive started my own channel, would be amazing if you lovely people could give it a cheeky look :)
Adored this, i love how you are changing your style - super creative and gives viewers so much more, thank you xx
i am SO proud of you, i subscribed to you a few years ago because of your funny & random videos and I now see you moving on to more proffessional things such as documentaries like this one. I'm happy to see you following your dreams. You are extremely talented. - Amanda in South Florida
Jack has to see this comment. It warmed my heart :)
This was inspiring, excited for what's to come in this series! :)
It's amazing how you can spread the love of music as far as California. It's truly amazing. Best wishes for Danielle Turano.
*"I'm here for a reason and I need to embrace it"* my new life quote.
♥
This was just simply amazing
I can understand that people miss the old, personal videos on this channel, but I can safely say that Jacksgap has become the most inspiring and interesting channel on youtube that I know of. I love the variety, the concepts and just generally the projects. So yes, I understand that some of you might miss the old videos, but please just let them do what they want to do, because it actually inspires the majority of us and takes a different perspective. Yes, vlogs are good too, but there are so many channels that do them, so go watch them rather than trying to prevent something amazing. Thank you!
One of the rare types of youtubers that don't promote audible.
Lol,yeah! :)
Like dan and phil
Coz they never fuckin make any goddamn videos
That *doesn't promote audible
Funny you say that when this video (whilst very good) is just a long skype commerical.
I hope you do make it Danielle its nice to see you building your dreams and helping others to do the same! xxx
I absolutely love how her dream isn't all based on her but on her students and watching them succeed. Loved this so much
Honestly I find it really annoying when people say that they are unsubscribing it's okay if you don't like their content but you don't need to say it to the world just click the button and your done you just have to face the fact that they are doing what they want this is THEIR channel so if they want to make documentaries than they are going to make documentaries if you want quirky videos then either find a new person to subscribe to or watch their old video but on a positive note I really loved this video and her love for music you can tell just by the way she told us how she felt about playing really inspiring 💖
Wow! Absolutely love this. You have definitely found your groove Jack. I think when you are passionate about something, it shines through in the videos you make. You were a born film maker. I can't wait to see the others. I for one love the new direction of your channel. It's quite unique :) x
Super well-shot! Excited for the next one!
I enjoyed this so much, you're really progressing as a filmmaker. It really annoys me that some of your viewers don't appreciate well made content like this and instead want some shitty challenge videos. Keep up the good work Jack and the team!
It's kinda shit now ngl
Preach!
This could've been an actual documentary and I would have watched it. Fantastic editing and cinematography and the music is brilliant. I hope this is just the start of many great things in your career, Jack and Finn.
Beautiful film. Glad I found it. Wonderful story.
Agreed!
Amen sister! Go for it Harries brothers.
I'm a pianist myself and I can really relate to what Danielle had to say. Music can connect people and teaching it creates an even stronger connection. Loved this.
So happy to see such art from youtubers. This is on a much higher level and it's amazing!
Danielle Turano. You are an amazing woman. The energy with which you are following your dream and passion is truly inspiring.
This is perfect. The quality, the sound, the theme. Her. You. It's just perfect
Absolutely blown away
I can't really explain how excited I am for the future videos in this project. Such great work JacksGap.
I did expect Danielle to say something more inspiring though, but she is a suberb musician if I may say so myself.
I absolutely love this video for two reasons:
This video honestly made me cry. It was beautiful and amazing, thank you for sharing this story!
the content jUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER WOW
God bless you*
Ps. I am so sorry for my bad English.
cawen jonas you were doing pretty well until "natal language" :p
marissasaurrr lol :P
they dont edit much and put much of an effort compared to the vlogger Hannah Maggs if people only knew her :/
Well, it depends of the vlogger. i don't know to Hannah and her work but for me Jack and Finn make some of the best shorts films in youtube and they don't just sit in front of a camera and talk about topics with not sense.
I genuinely really enjoyed this video yes I loved there old content but they've matured and you can see how much time and effort that would go into a video like this and people should just appreciate that...
please can we just admire the amazing content jack films. and can we please also admire the quality of his videos.
Jack's videos aren't like everyone else's, he differs from the norm. You'd think that this 'new' Jack would start up a storm
but no most people want the same old stuff
If you think about it, it's all a bunch of fluff
Cuz videos like these are worth watching and have meaning
That leave you at the end totally beaming
'Content Creator's' are like flowers amongst weeds
Channels like Jacksgap are exactly what RUclips needs.
He doesn't go with everyone else
It's inspirational to me
Jacks always tried to be himself
That's what everyone should be.
Just be yourself, do what you what you do
Because we need some more originality.
Your videos have something that always wants me to cry, not in a bad way, but in a good way. Because it's beautifull...
It's great to see that there's people like this beautiful woman who works everyday to make her dream come true... So inspirational.
All of the things you produce are truly amazing and inspiring.
She's amazing. I've always had an interest in violins. Never to play myself but I love the sounds...the music. Hope for many great things for her.
Inspiring*
I couldn't have said it better
