Finally, someone talking good things about sharks! Usually people get surprised when I say to them that I prefer sharks over dolphins, but they just don't understand that sharks are precious creatures from the ocean, and they are dying because us, humans, some horrible human beings are killing this amazing specie. We're the first in the line of predators, so why we get scared about sharks? Sharks are scared about us, because we're the first reason of their extinction... So I really hope that this would change the mind of the most part of people who thinks that sharks are monsters, and make them see that actually they are really beautiful wild animals.

I love when people say things like this. There are simple things, like you are more likely to get struck by lightning than bitten by a shark. You can swim right next to a shark and they wont harm you, I mean, the most common shark attacks are on surfboards - when you arms and legs are hanging off the side and give off a look from below as if you are a seal. Sharks are no different than other animals, such as a cat. They won't attack you as long as you dont pose a threat to them. They're really, amazing animals. I don't get why people are against them. :) Have a wonderful day!

(Except I'm double majoring) A couple of years ago, on the internet, I was moved by orcas in captivity, which sparked my interest in other marine animals. I'm also passionate about climate change, and seeing my passions link together is so exciting. How are you finding it?

And I go to a school in south Florida so I'm in a really good place for it.

What I love about this video is we got a bit of both. The twin chemistry and a message from the guys at the beginning followed by a beautiful documentary. The whole reason why i am so afraid of swimming in beaches and terrified of the ocean is because of my fear of sharks (thanks a lot, jaws) the part in this video where she was swimming with sharks would usually put me in an anxiety attack, i’m not even kidding. But i watched through it, a lot uncomfortable at first but i worked my way into that part, making short pauses, and was able to calmly get thru it. After that it was fine, i finished the video. Felt so good for some reason, and i watched it again. Just watched it thrice now and i feel blissful. Sharks are so different to me now, and since i am a swimmer in pools, i have fully decided to commit myself into going out there and to swim in beaches. Give it a chance. Thank you harries twins and to the beautiful lady in the video. I am so grateful!

Seriously though she's pretty awesome. Like she said sharks are predators but she seemed comfortable with them. It's videos like this that shine a light on topics or people you wouldn't normally notice. You say the word shark and anyone pretty much cringes but she really makes you take a second look. I can honestly say that while I'm still scared of sharks I do see them in a different light now.

To the people who are saying that Jack and Finn only got famous because of their looks, I'm not saying that it's 100% untrue because I myself subscribed because they're just so damn cute! But I just really wanted to point out that I am really proud of them for not abusing their handsomeness and good looks for only themselves. They continue to use that power (yes, I called it a power) to reach people and inspire us in every way they can. Plus they put a lot of effort into their work which is why they create such amazing videos.

It honestly means so much to me that you guys chose to do the story on sharks. I'm only 15, but I'm growing up in Rhode Island, so I've always been really close to the ocean. I used to be terrified of sharks, but about 2 years ago, I heard about people like Ocean Ramsey and Jonathon Bird, and they have flipped my whole perspective on the species. I really want to be a marine biologist now, and this video just made me really happy and inspired to work towards it even more. This was put together beautifully C:

I live in Recife (Brazil), the city in Brazil which has the greater number of shark attacks in the whole country! 24 people died since 1992 and many more were bitten. And it happens like every year just because of people's ignorance. The sea is shark's home and people still invading their space and then blame sharks for the attacks. If people were more respectful about it, the number of attacks would decrease. Projects like this must be supported and shared! I hope someday everyone can understand the importance of sharks and i thank Jack and Finn for showing this for us and Jillian for starting this amazing project!!

I've only seen/swam with them in captivity as I live in the UK so there are less opportunities to see them in the wild but trying to persuade my school friends that they're only dangerous if they're threatened and that they are actually fascinating creatures is really hard, because like Jillian said they only know misconceptions not the facts. Projects like this are so important and should definitely be shared. Thank you to Jillian, Jack and Finn

I've been watching you guys since last year, but I never commented on any video even though I always loved your videos. I personally think that Jacksgap took an unexpected turn for me, as I never expected that you guys would actually go around the world and make things like this. I want to thank you guys for that. These kind of projects aren't easy to do, and a very determined and sincere heart is needed. You guys have introduced me sides of the world that I never even imagined before, and you works totally opened my mind and changed my view.

Great video! It's so crazy to see that this is her life and she cares about these animals so much that she's willing to live on a remote island to be able to educate people around the world about them and save them. I'm glad she was able to have her voice heard, I didn't know any of those facts about sharks. Loved this episode. Keep up the great work Jack's Gap team!

A very important short film, Jack and Finn. In Australia, culling sharks is a massive issue, and it blows my mind why people think it needs to be done. No, stop letting your stupid surfy idiots from entering a shark's habitat, and the chances of an attack are so minute anyway.
By making this film, you've also helped make a difference. Love it. This represents everything I want to do with my filmmaking endeavours.

This is really very fascinating story and I think she really making a difference in the world. Personally I have never seen or been close to a shark but I think that if you don't touch them they can be very friendly and less they small a drop of human blood and besides I have read that sharks attacks very and very rare. PS Jack glasses really suits you especially with that hair style very good look even great look.

Here's some constructive critisism though: what about vlogging the amazing adventures you get to experience while making this high quality videos? I'd be really interested to see the making of of the your content filmed. That way you also don't leave your audience hanging for such a long time. Keep it up though :)

This is such an important topic. I am really glad that you published this video, especially over youTube since it's a massive device to share content. Back in school I told people about the topic since I read a lot about this topic in a sea museum in Fehmarn, Germany. It is extremly important to prevent Sharks, since they are a major part in the ocean/sea life. If the Sharks die the ocean overpopulates and therefore many coral reefs etc. die. To say it in a harsh way: IF the Sharks die, the Ocean dies. And we have to prevent that since we won't be able to fix that. It it hard to save an animal who many people fear, but I hope people like Jillian Morris, you guys and all the scientists, activists a.s.o. who fight for the Sharks will change this. It is comparable to the fear of lions, but we protect them. We have to change the Shark-Food-Industry, but it is possible. We can prevent Sharks, even though we might fear them.

This is a great short of Jillian and Sharks4Kids. I can't fathom why humans are culling sharks at all! If you enter the ocean it's at your own risk, you're more likely to be caught in a rip or swept off a rock then eaten by a shark. Sharks are incredibly important for our oceans ecosystem too, I wish governments would realise this. Thank you for sharing guys, I hope this affects millions.

Here's to hoping that people like Jack, Finn, Casey Neistat, and other miscellaneous creators can help bring a more serious and artistic style to RUclips. Not that the old raw video blogging style is bad, but RUclips is in some serious need of video work like this. Vimeo is a great platform but it doesn't have the community aspect that RUclips does and if RUclips can cater to a more serious audience, it could be a breath of fresh air for the platform. As a creator myself, I would love for a trend like this to continue and I'm certainly enjoying the new content that Jack has been putting out. Keep up the great work dudes.
