i can understand that some ppl might choose their tbc class duo because of dungeon farming, but in case of farming rep: Every raider need those rep, so in the end you need to get everyone in your raid set up and not the optimal farmer :D otherwise you need to wait for all those "less optimal" ppl. In case of late tbc, it might be different. As for restodruid and rez: if you pair up with a palatank(or other pala/priest/shaman) it negates your only negative point.
dream combo for me in most Dungeons for tbc is Prot Pala for aoe tanking, Warlock for big aoe dmg, Frost Mage for good damage and nice control although 2 warlocks is nice, Shadow Priest for mana regen - will just make whole run go faster and they can do OK damage from spamming SWP, and then resto shaman for spell dmg totem (which also boosts prot pala threat) nice aoe heals and good single target heals not to mention hero. With this group i think you get good CC, aoe dmg, single target dmg for bosses, 2/3 ressers which is always nice and good buffs like blessings, totems, fort (if u have priest) Nice vid i agree with most selections

what i realized in classic was that even tho in TBC u want to stack 2 locks or 2 mages for dungeons.. they're gonna have to fight each other for gear. So it would be better or everyone would be happy if the group is more diverse so people arent fighting each other for gear.
from another perspective, every piece of gear that drops that nobody can use is just a waste. especially if you're gear farming, then, it's good to have a little bit of everything.
@@yvngsavage8249 Warriors will roll on Leather if it's "better" than what they have. Hunters, too. Even Shamans will. Paladins will compete against S.Priests/Shamans for 1H Maces and Mages/Warlocks. Warriors and Paladins will compete for the same gear, etc. Either way you build your group, gearing will be competitive.
One of the other major perks about prot paladins is that since they generate such a massive threat lead they are free to remove debuffs from everyone with cleanse while they tank leaving the healer free to heal or add some dps and can negate movement impairing effects with freedom.
If they release 2.0 dungeons/talents/gear you'll be CCing stuff for a bit. If they release 2.4.3 dungeons/talents/gear it will get AoE'd down. And if it's the latter there won't be as much dungeon farming as the video makes it out to seem.

People start spamming aoe, threat is not controlled, some mobs start running towards mages and warlocks, tank starts to run back and forth trying to catch the runners, healers start stressing to heal the clothers and suddenly you find your ghost running from graveyard to dungeon entrance.
I disagree. When you say a holy paladin is good for an average group, that doesn’t make sense. They don’t have Hots or multi target heal. If a pull gets out of hand they are the worst healer

I mean sure if you're rushing through normal dungeons, but are we also talking about heroics here? It's pretty tough to take on more then one stack at a time even with paladin(he'll just explode) and a druid or warrior can hold agro on 1 stack pretty easy even if they aoe.
Resto druid is by far best heal for 5 man dungeons. Best healing, best mana eff, best mobility, best defensive cds, combat ress, innervate, aoe tranqulity, stealth runs, 2 instant heals

Also a Resto Druid will be also be good in a Spell cleave group. maybe not as much as the resto shaman boosting damage. but having an innervate will certainly help those mages keeping the group moving.
Disagree. It maybe isn't the best comp, but going in with 3 arms, resto shaman and pally tank was INSANE when we tried it. Naxx geared just blasting through dungeons in no time.

How often do you see a wipe of 4 people but healer standing out of combat? Afaik the mobs in dungeon dont drop aggro so healer will wipe too. Your only option is shamans rebirth then so all other heals are out of question. If that`s your priority you`re better off with hunter or mage dropping aggro and using engineering jumper cables to rez someone who can rez others.
From what I remember from TBC all those years ago you can't really spell cleave heroics. It is not like classic dungeons, TBC is much more challenging. Mobs hit like a truck. Also, pallys tanks weren't a thing till much later in the expansion, when they got some raid gear.

I'm always top dps as arms warrior in ZG and dungeons dominating adds with sweeping strikes and hitting very hard. You're either very wrong about arms in dungeons or something changes in tbc with arms? Or maybe gear dependency? But I love arms and I'm sticking with it when tbc comes
it's prob because most don't understand that to do crazy dungeon dps as arms you want to be tanking one of the mobs or two, so you gain rage and enrage, whereas most people never do this and do barely any dps, that or they don't have wf.
Tbh when we were doing early dungeons together my friend had lots of trouble holding aggro as a prot pally until he got some spell power. But he kinda fucked up bc he hit 70 with basically 0 SP, he went full avoidance...
I remember also that prot pallys had problems if their gear was too good for the dungeon. They barely loose life when taking damage meaning that they dont regain mana that fast, and no mana = no aoe tanking. That was some private servers, maybe they had their numbers tweaked incorrectly but it was a struggle.

People talk about being arms warrior being better than fury in single target fights, but he doesnt even think about playing 2h fury (21/40/0), which is even by 9% better in singletarget compared to arms and furthermore cleaves even better. 2h Furys will rule the game.
well, spellcleave is the way to go in tbc if you want to min-max. even if you dont go for a pure spell cleave group this list is pretty accurate. you're gonna want a prot pally tank in 5mans and ranged dps are gonna be preferred over melee in general. of course other stuff can work perfectly fine, especially when grinding dungeons to level from 60-70 with overgeared characters.

Tbh as a Rogue back then I never had such a problems and on contrary to popular belief these mind benders called streamers trying to produce that Rogues sucked big time, at least in HC's, Rogues were very good, though I never seriously raided and was focused manly on PvP and occasionally Dungeons... Now...you can call me crazy, I'm hunter in Classic and seeing all those people and their grandma's going hunter in TBC, my hunter is going to the bench and I'm maining Rogue and possibly Arms warrior as an alt🤯

dps: lock, mage, shaman

The problem with your "analysis" is that you think best classes = best classes for spellcleave groups. Most people dont run spellcleave groups.

my BC dungeon leveling comp will be Feral druid tank, Balance druid, Resto druid, Mage and Hunter.

Totem of Wrath comes from the end of the Elemental tree so most restos won't have it.
there is a 101 or something spell power air totem that all shamans know in tbc, the ele totem is 3% hit and 3% crit for casters
What about prot war with tf? Does he get higher in the list?

Realistically, accents don't mean much these days since you can be raised in one part of the world and then move to another and adopt their practices into your life.

i wish they would make tbc with wotlk class spells (tuned appropriately of course). arms warriors with blade storm... ret pallys with divine storm... that would be epic for tbc content.
Unfortunately, with those spells/abilities, the content would be too easy.

If Blizzard were to use Lich King spells/abilities, they would have to use those talent trees which would completely change 90% of the game and wouldn't be Burning Crusade, it would be Lich King.

Take a Paladin for example. We'd have Judgement of Wisdom/Light/Justice without having to cast the respective seals first. There would be no "tuning" to get right to change this.
Gonna be fun to see when ppl realise you can't AOE pull in heroics :D
I used to aoe pull as prot in heroic shattered halls and grab 2-3 packs, also ran the entire gauntlet in one go.

Uhhh. Druids have Rez in BC, lvl 12 spell called Revive, learnable after BC drops

Check the date when the spell was added, just below from the text you copied.

"Revive" was added in Patch 3.0.2 (Lich King) Rebirth remained their only rez until then.
