Thought i would pin this here. As people are coming forward saying that this setup WITHOUT meth will make 400bhp. All I will say is this! You might be lucky to get 400 without meth. But! Your engine will not be happy playing Russian roulette with captain knock. So I would say add the meth to keep the cylinder temps down on full boost. Make sure you have a good mazda tuner as well. Its a picky engine. Freaktune knows his noodles. And our very own Justin in the UK also is one of them "he tuned my meth monster". Bye for now. 😎🙏👍
Some people need the real advice like this, so many people just go around throwing on random parts, treating it like junk with a crap tuner and blow it up, then blame it on the car
Its true. Hence my list. As its tried and test on my own car. Its not a cheap thing to do of course. But I got 2nd hand bits here and there. And made the most of it. Its still going strong with the new owner to this day.
Love your vids.. very helpful. Running my 3mps at 330bhp on stock k04... just need the few extras when my turbo decides to let go..replace and upgrade. Currently watching your video on the rear knocking issue. Gonna switch bck to oem arb/droplinks to see id it sorts it.. see if its the whiteline droplinks i fitted earlier this year.. new subscriber coming up

I don't use meth nor the AP. I use RON100 with Mazda Edit on stock k04. Now its 310whp@450Nm with 1.2bar but I do have other plans on both intake and exhaust manifold.

Is this the order you did it in?
Let's say I want to max out without the meth.. Is everything upto that point still required?
yes to max out the stock block. some are saying you can acheve 400 without the meth with that setup. so I guess its the luck of the draw if you get there without aux fueling. you can do a little at a time in the order I have done. just bring the cobb accessport forward to start tuning the car the minute the internal fuel pump upgrade is done. hope this helps.
Without meth on stock block/factory fueling system I made 388 at 0 degrees Celsius ambient temp (gen1 GTX3071). During summer it was at 345-350 below 30C ambient. I also cracked the ringlands on two pistons (#2 and #3) in one of the pulls with 380+ so now you have your complete answer :)
With WMI I tuned a fellow in New Zeeland at 408bhp and a BNR S3 (Versatuner FTW, not mentioned in the video as an alternative).
@@mituc I made a error saying bnr s4. I did meant to say bnr s3. As this was my setup on my mk1, which made 405 with meth.. so my bad..lol
