I think the most tunable cars in the UK and Europe are the Audi Rs3/4, BMW 3 series, Ford Fiesta ST and Focus ST and RS. The A35 and A45 Mercs used to be big favourites, but I prefer the N30i. I used to drive a Fiesta ST, then an Audi S3 and RS3. I also had a 335i, which was great, but I prefer having more space. I briefly had an M3, but the cost was too high, so I switched to a 330 6 cylinder touring instead. The ride was not great on bad British roads. I did have a 235i (2014 at the time) in blue, which was a fantastic car. However, for long journeys , the X3 x drive 3 litre D is a great car. I used to work for BMW car leasing, so all the BMW above and also mini copper S I got as a company cars Copper went to my other half at the time while I had the audi S3. M products, we had to pay more and get them back to as new spec after that year or two of owning even stone chips which they did by full paint or new panels . So it wasn't worth the ownership. I've driven all the models as we got pushed into trying, so we knew the cars . Still owning one as older man now age 47 a X3 35d is the one as I got that twice while working there ,as I loved that car , The ones I had were fully loaded thou so that helped . But it's still great, just not in larger size up run flat tires . The road noise was the worst. I've owned faster cars and had my fun, so it's time to own slightly fast X3 again, lol .

It's a different dimension of acceleration from my Mazdaspeed 3. Unlike me, who lives in Japan, I envy that I can demonstrate this potential on a daily basis.
sounds like the Mazda RT24-P when it comes on cam after 5k rpms
That motor is a bespoke MZR derivative (MZR-R), so that makes sense.
Greetings and hat off from the owner of the quickest and most powerful 3MPS/Mazdaspeed3 which still complies the factory emissions standard :) 3MPS BK 2008, 711Nm/509PS on the previous engine (current one won't go past 480 or so and 650-ish Nm), 100-200 in 6.9 and 60-100mph in 4th in 3.62s, max rev limit 7150 because no additional PI apart from 1200cc/min WMI, dual catted exhaust and stock manifolds with fully functional EGR.
I absolutely love when people do this kind of things to their cars and leave the exterior and interior stock-ish, fully functional and even improve it.
FWD FTW! Let's go!
Mk1 ftw!
It's a pretty cool Mazda 3, not aggressive, I love it!!
i have a mps here in the neighbor with stage 3 and a straight pipe and blow off valve. sounds lovely!
It was totally unexpected!!! Incredible Mazda, My favorite model of this nice brand of all times!!
Man this car got bumped up to 700hp now!!! Matthew is scary! Luv it!!
Proud owner of a 2013 mazdaspeed! these cars pull hard in lower gears specially with bolt ons. Next turbo and cam upgrade
It’s so beautiful. much more fun to watch MPS instead of mainstream BMW,Audi, Mercedes, etc
I had a 2012 for 4 years with mild bolt ons/tune. Kept getting this "feeling" it was going to blow up. A week after I sold it the new owner crashed and totaled it. I'm not superstitious but feel like I knew it's time was coming lol.
Owner: "After 230 it becomes sketchy"
Max: 13:20
Owned a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 for 12 years. Even stock, they're eager to be driven hard. Sold it @ 167K miles and it was still running great.
Years ago i had a 323 gtx awesome littel Car!
Despite not having that power or anything close to that and me only doing 75-80. The pop at 13:10 gave me ptsd of my 2010 ms3 blowing cylinders on a shift between 5th and 6th while passing someone
Mazda is my favourite car.I have mazda 6 2.0 tdi 180hp.your mazda is beautiful and powerful.
No lie, ive driven a 400hp sti and im more scared to drive my own 320hp speed3. The sti just goes fast. The speed3 with the torqe steer and fwd tires spinning scares me. Its makes my heart race like hell.
The happiest Autobahn-slayer
I had no driving stability issues running 250+ for prolonged periods in my mk1 MPS, even maxing out the 270 limiter, with slighty smaller diameter tyres than stock. Is the alignment off or dampers changed, since its "off" above 230? No doubt it would do 300 easy. :)
Cool looking sleeper!
Its really fast!!!!!!
I drove 222 km/h GPS in my Mazda 3 Diesel today to get some basil seeds from Dehner. I wouldn't call the car sketchy, it's just the hood moving around so much that you think you didn't close it properly.
Love the video as I own a 2011 Silver MS3. The stock wheels are 18 inch not 19 as you said, but I might of missed hearing you say they were aftermarket.
The autotopnl is the best car reviewing keep going up
Naprosto nejlepší auto který jsi tam měl😃.Je úžasný 👏👍.
Gtrko bylo lepší
This is cool. Those arent stock wheels btw, they are mazda6/atenza 19 inch wheels. Look greaaaat
Love this design Mazda3, now it all same design for all mazda.
Absolutely brutal!!! Mazda rocks!!!!
When will these cars finally get the love they deserve?!
They've been overrated for years.
@@oetic5016 lmao they are so far from overrated. They’re the only affordable Japanese performance cars left. Everything else has jacked up prices and don’t perform nearly as well as the MPS
@@oetic5016 overrated? I have never seen one in my life except mine. They´re cheap as fuck. The Type R, Focus RS and i30N are overrated. They still cost more than 25.000€. The MPS just abaout 7-8k. With the same Power since 2005 in the speed 6. It can´t be an overrated car if 99% of people you ask doesn´t even know that this car exists. 😂
Hi dude, I'm from Mexico and I really like your videos, you ar so lucky to test that kind of cars. Keep going. :)
3 miles per second holy fuck thats quick dude
I had an 09 MPS 3 or as they were called mazdaspeed 3 here in the US for 8 years. It was a fun and reliable car all the time I owned it. Had it tuned and with bolt ons to 310 whp and 320wtq. Was pretty fast and fun. I can imagine this beast. I kinda regret selling it tho. I kept it in amazing shape and babied the hell out of it.
i always wanted a MS6 but loved the look of the early MS3
12:00 Describing the car as feeling "hooked up on Cocaine".... Max, I love you!! Hahaha!!!😆
It's funny that was actually my first car (not the mps tho) now I got a WRX STI that was tuned in Switzerland by a subaru tuner...
as if it is not so hardcore, but when I see the counter as it latches, I was a bit surprised heheh
I click on the video for the cars but stay for the cool accent.
Best car chanel
i have a 2011 mps, not as much power as that. only like 400hp but its still absolutely insane.
Nice to see these cars being tuned up.
In the states it’s almost impossible to find a stock mps.
@sav7123 I guess we have more hot hatches than you, so tuners tend to do better cars first.
@@itisjustacomment yes there are way more hatches in Europe, but there are arguably only 3 hatches that are better than this car, mini JP, golf r and, civic type r
@@itisjustacomment I love the rs3 and amg but I feel like because of their price they are in a league of their own. It’s unfair to compare a $10,000 Mazda. The ford st is very similar but it is all preference. I like the bmw especially the x3m but I wish they made more in standard transmission. It’s rare to find a new bmw in manual here.
This is one of the rare times he’s driving an awesome hot hatch that we actually have in the states.
The car is amazing. Love it 👍
This covered exhaust manifold looks like a ginger root.
I love these cars
As quick as an M8 Competition but able to have a family car's mpg...
And on a low maintenance budget as well. For a 7sec car...
We have an MS3 and the turbo is always ready to go, and the sound is really nice. With an Accessport and COBB we got it to spin all the way to 3rd gear lol. Really fun car to tune and mess with imo.
I did 220 with my stock ms3 and it was like nothing. Love this car
I'm Lucky, i've got the same one , but stock , with 260 PS , but îs wonderfull ! Keep going !
I've got a 2010 Speed 3 with just a couple of bolt ons making 300/300. She's a hoot!!!
Love this MPS! Proper rapid pace haha hope to build mine up to this level one day 😆😆
Love the modded older car reviews. It’s awesome to see what people get up to in NL. You should try to get a big single turbo N54 on I reckon you’d have a blast. 😎
“These guys are having a drag race” lol
2007 Nissan Qashqai vs 2013 Kia Carens
Place your bets
I just sold mine the other day. I miss it already 😢
Man I love my gen Juan I was close to selling it but decided to keep it and glad I am
Not bad for a Mazda 3 4 cylinder. I bet it bangs from a dig being light. Not a bad way to go for a sleeper.
My brother had one and the torque steer was crazy. They apparently made a 4wd version but limited amount.
I love all types of mazda cars esp_ 626 model 1998 ٠
Concerning the engine bay temp+turbo it is a very good idea to have extractor fans(with heat sensor+temp gauge) with a switch(on demand) to instantly evacuate hot air from engine bay..I have done this with well placed fans in my 5 cyl turbo VOLVO and don't have to worry about too much heat inside the engine bay..be in control of that heat...!!!!! ,especially when driving during hot days slow/stuck in traffic(happens a lot these days)..!!!!
i hope i can get this car as my first. Its such a sick car and ive wanted it ever since i first saw it
I love mazda
good old smiley MPS ladies and gentleman. Class car!
I got goosebumps watching this
And what cosumption?
YES!
That's stock mounted turbo...nice! That does not look like stock coil pack placement I want to look into this head there running!
Looks great 👌
we had 2012 mps in our family so much torque steer in stock form ;)
Love your presentation, keep it up!
That car pulls in high speed like the Balboni LP-550....Impressive
Ha! I have the exact same turbo on my Axela :D Good to know it can do more than I'm running it at.
I used to want this car when I was younger:). Now I got a BMW:) haha. this thing pulls just as strong in 2 and 3 gear as it does in 4 and 5th:).
Dikke auto, zag hem ook laatst nog op de rollebank video:D
