    Would you consider shorting the main beam to have the bikes closer to the bumper? How do you like it? 👍🇨🇦

    I didn't know a pro black model was available at the same time. I would pay the extra $50 just for it being black and solid color. Feel free to ask anything as we keep using this product.

    The model number includes 600. I reckon this is rated to 600lb. Seen them used for 2 x Dirt motorcycles..

      I think you are right. It's been a while but I remember seeing something like 600 total lbs. Most dirtbikes fall well under 300 so I think that's what it was geared towards.

    Thanks for the vid, been looking for something like this, now I need to figure out how to tie down the bikes for my fear of dropping them bad boys. Is there a special technique you use?

    How hard would it be to just load both bikes on your red truck?

    • @JoshTheElectric
      @JoshTheElectric  Год назад

      That would be the easiest and very best way for any local ride within an hour or whatever. But if we go up northern Michigan on a 3 plus hour drive with our 3 large labs, newborn kid and all the crap that goes with that and my wife and our crap. The extended hitch saves us alot of room on the camping trips.

      @@JoshTheElectric The reason I’m asking is because I have a truck and I’m thinking if I should buy a ramp or this rack. Now, I get needing the room for other stuff. Thanks! 👌

    This or the 1up heavy duty rack?

      The 1 up heavy duty rack looks awesome and seems to have some pretty cool features. The decided factor for us was that my bike weight is 125lbs and hers is 75lbs. The rack says it can hold up to 4 bikes with a 50lb weight on each bike spot. This specific rack we went with claimed 300lbs per rack. Being alot more claimed weight rating we figured it was built better. But that 1 up rack seems very well designed and I would love to give it a try. I can always take my battery out to lower the weight down to 75 lbs. Maybe @1upusa608 can help guide us in the right direction.

      @TheElectricWoodworker I guess it was the xtreme duty I meant lol it has a single bike one that has the 150lb rating and then you have to add another piece for two bikes or something like that

      @joesiph8021 ohhh I had no idea about that one. And the added bike also supports 150 lbs? If so that's a sweet bike rack if it folds up the same way. I just find it hard to believe something that can fold up flat also supports these heavy bikes over the long haul. But if it does than it's a killer design.

    Bikes don't tip?

    • @JoshTheElectric
      @JoshTheElectric  3 месяца назад +1

      Not at all after you add 2 straps to the front of each bike. 1 pulling from each side down to the steel frame so it can't go either way. I hope this makes sense
