Hey Rob I have the same car and don’t know much about cars but want was thinking about getting it tuned. I’m not sure if u know abt this but I don’t wanna put to much stress on the car. I also have two new tires on and have always found it hard to get a good launch without the tires spinning. Any suggestions?
If you're going to get a tune, make sure it's a guy that knows what he/she is doing because a bad tune can really mess up the car. A tune will increase horsepower so yes you will be adding HP to the car, however, the added HP wouldn't be too drastic so it shouldn't bother the engine. After all, it is a honda and their engines can take a beating so yes do get the car tuned if your heart desires it. But again, it will shorten the longevity of the car's life span but it shouldn't be a problem on dem engines. As for the tiers, I'm sorry I cant help.
I have to agree with Nuor. Find someone to professionally tune it and ask their opinion on the reliability because that's something I'm curious about myself. As far as the tires, you can go with wider, gripier tires but keep in mind, if you get wider tires your mpg may go down slightly. I don't personally mind a little tire spin. The car just has a lot of torque for a front wheel drive
I don't know if you have heard it before, but in your opinion does this setup sound better than the Magnaflow Catback? I love the rumbly gargle of your car with the axel-back but they lack power and want a full Catback system, so I was wondering if I should get the Borla Axel-back and Magnaflow midpipe to make a complete system or should I just get a Magnaflow CB and call it a day. Mann. Any modifications that you make on a car with automatic transmission doesn’t make any sense… is just my opinion and is not a criticism is just my opinion… enjoy your car
I really don’t expect too much for performance regardless. It’s hardly noticeable but I really do enjoy the sound so that enough is worth it to me personally
Automatic tho lol. I cant help but laugh at cars with exhausts when theyre auto.
On stock does it have a res delete?
Yes, it has a resonator delete and a Takida cold air intake. My mistake, I shouldn’t have called it stock
Did the engine throw you any codes after the short ram intake mod? If so which ones and what did you do to resolve it?
Nothing I have done to the car has thrown any codes so you should be fine if you go that route
