Much better video than any other youtubers out there... You go and explain the whys and hows of your knowledge which earned you an easy subscribtion, i got the cl9 Accord but still i got some very good info, very appreciated 🙏❤️🔥
Do you think anything bad will happen if i decided to make vtec kick in at a lower rpm? Im trying to find a way to make the performance a little better. The pedal when in sport mode feels heavy. It doesn't have that light feel when i dont have a tune on.
Hey that's a really good question. I need to look into it a little more but it's possible the 91 tune disabled it in the background already. My test drive I didn't initially notice it engaging.
VCM delete should be the main reason for Ktuner lol. Useless if your looking to mess with the car, 1 less thing to break and minimizes uneven wear of internals.
since you know what you're talking about. How can i unlock the rev limiter. At standstill p or n my car won't rev past 4k rpm. I have a 10th gen 2.0 with ktuner. The rev limiter and 2-step didn't really help much
Tricky question, I did the same and it does work really well plug and play style. To maximize the throttle body increase you'd want to update the MAF voltage as to match the higher flow. There are videos out there on how this can be done, it takes time. I would recommend a pro tuner. Phase two would be to increase the MAF housing in addition to the 80mm TB. I should have a video on this soon!
@@Acc15ord no lol. In hondata there's a section called throttle flow vs opening where you take the difference in percentage of the j37tb vs j35 and multiple the values.. Some guys are telling me to do that in the dbw section on ktuner, but that just modifys the sensitivity of the throttle. So im lost as well. Ktuner admin is useless as well.
No, if you're running an intake an exhaust, it's good. If you're stock right now, you can run the 87 tune while turning off vcm and modifying the dbw tables, as well as improved shifting. Yea they do but it's much more expensive because there's more tables for tuning. @@Acc15ord
Just subbed to your channel. Please make the videos you said you would make.... it would be awesome if you could make a video explaining maf, dbw and ignition. I have a 2012 Acura TL
I'm also tuning an Accord Auto and you've been a big help, man. I hope you keep making new Ktuner vids. Not alot online for our Auto's.

Great video and info as well man looking forward to know more with v6

What exhaust do you have? Sounded just right in that first clip
What was the settings for basic 2- step?
Have you had any issues with the o2 sensor or is it running fine?
hey, i have a 2012 honda civic R18 engine. i was wondering if you could help me tuning it? i got ktuner v1.2 and im still learning the basics.
Great video tons of info. Can you post part 2 with rest of settings? Also can you make detail vid of DBW maps
Hey i bought the ktuner from TSP and for some reason i can't see vtec settings. Do you know something about that?
Do you have the 2017 one?
what exactly does vtec low engage and upper engage mean? i thought vtec simply kicks on!
My ktuner looks so different so yah these vtex settings dont apply. Shame bc it looks so much simpler on yours
Im curious why you didnt disable vcm?

5:43 story of my life😅
Do you think your vtec settings will work well with a manual?
Lowering too low makes you lose power. 5000 or 4900 is good wnoufh
How do you make third gear faster in DBW map
very impressive video, question .. i added a j37 throttle body to the car, what setttings should be changed to maximize the mod?

did you ever find an answer to this question? I just installed the j37 TB on the stock Intake manifold and haven't touched the ktuner settings.

Does anyone know if this applies to the j35 in the TLX v6?
Would you be able to run the 91 tune with stock intake but high flow air filter ?
Yes I ran it on a stock intake, it’s only suggested you have an intake and exhaust for the best performance
i can’t change my overrun throttle compensation. anyone know why?

You’re not suppose to disable primary 02 sensor. The car uses that to fuel the car. Your only suppose to disable the secondary one.
Interesting I have had no trouble when turning both off. I'll have to experiment. Maybe that's why my mpg is so bad now haha
Have you done any testing??
Do you not have to save anything after you check off the boxes or does it auto save?
Gotta save I fcked up not doing so
Will this work for my 8th gen?
What engine are you tuning
?
J35Y1
2000rpm???
How much hp?
How do you get rid of the factory top speed?
Once you flash the ecu it automatically removes
Good stuff. No one explain how to tune
Why did you disable knock control ?
Where did you see this?

@@gilbertsanchezz3107 Turns out its part of the 91+ octane tune from ktuner.
Those vtec settings are too low I lost power doing that
